nice, you figured out Blizzard's bug for them. now let's hope they fix it

Comment by Batshine

Any other transmogs from that time that can be gained from doing the scenario?

Comment by couchpotato2013

Well crap guess that’s what I gonna do tonight since I happen to be lower than that level on my alt.

Comment by PokitaruDaxx

? Why didn’t u tell everyone

Comment by Kerathras

Yeah, no. I am gonna pass. Not leveling another character from scratch just because of a bug. Will wait for them to fix it.

Comment by Jaece

Players who don't already have it will also be awarded the original Feat of Strength achievement, also probably related to the specific level requirement.

Burying the lede here a bit; the FoS is what awards the Tabard/toy.

No worries if you've done the scenario before 35 and got the "current" achievements.

Comment by Darenien

Made a new character and in 2 hrs I got to 35, the tabard is sublime

Comment by Hukilau

Really hope the fix here is to add it for those not lvl 35... and not to remove it for lvl 35 to make it like everyone else.

Comment by Salv

Lmao, another blatant exploit like frogs that WoWhead posts. How many people you getting to get roll backed this time? No one but a level 35 character can do this so obviously if you get these items atm it’s unintended and anyone who does it should have repercussions.

Hope this is a joke comment...

Comment by Clinoclase

Speaking of exact level requirements, is there an experience eliminator in Pandaria?

Comment by Soeroah

You seem bitter, but no, this isn't an exploit. Blizzard specifically put up a support article saying they were looking into fixing a bug that was *preventing* players from receiving these items from completing the Scenario. Players found out how it works before they did. That doesn't make this a bug or an exploit, it means players have found a workaround while Blizzard is working on a proper fix.

This workaround doesn't cause any balance issues with other players, it deprives no one of anything, and it doesn't involve 'creative use of game mechanics'. Contrast that with people who continued to hyperspawn farm after Frogs were nerfed, then sewers, then goats... surely you can see why that would be considered an exploit; Blizzard was clearly trying to prevent a behaviour and players kept trying to engage in it. The only one that was in any way ambiguous was the original frog farm - and even the players who got nerfed got to keep everything else they obtained, so it's hardly even punishment. It was Blizzard saying "our bad, we need to try to keep things somewhat balanced, but you had no reason to believe you were doing anything wrong so you can keep the other stuff".

Ooof, looks like a bitter ol’ frog queen to me. Cloak must have been slashed hard! 🤣

I feel like they don't mean, why would this exist in the first place, but rather, why was it not accounted for going into remix.. and if it was accounted for and still implemented this way.. then.. WHY?

The most likely answer is because when Mists first released, they had two versions of the scenario:

One that was only available at level 85, during the pre-patch and removed after the full expansion launch.
One that was only available at level 90, after the full expansion launch.

It's the same scenario, but obviously they only wanted rewards to be available during the pre-patch, so they simply tied the award and achievement to a check if the player was level 85 or not, without any foresight to consider the content being brought back 12 years later, much less the impact of a level squish 8 years later.

It's completely plausible that scenario rewards and FoS weren't intended to be made available in Remix again at all (as limited-time rewards typically are not), and so it could all a bit of a happy accident - the FoS in particular suggests this is likely the case. The odd part is that they made a support article about it, but the CMs that write support articles aren't the devs that implement rewards, so it smells a lot like a situation of left hand not knowing what the right is doing.(##RESPBREAK##)258##DELIM##Archimtiros##DELIM##

The mana bomb was also on a vendor on the PTR so they seemed to be thinking about making it available again; this twist makes it seem more likely they decided to make it available the same way it originally was, but messed up a bit

That's also possible, but still calls into question whether the FoS was intended or not... which seems rather doubtful. Whether they were intended or not is kind of besides the point of the "but why?" question though.

So this should mean than Alliance players in real WoW can also get the toy?

All these MoP Remix articles are getting me back into real MoP, remembering stuff and having a blast!

Gonna work on my Horde character as he hasn't been through MoP content yet.

I think MoP Remix is good way to see what players care more about alts and leveling as well as transmogs, and the players that care more about the experience and being able to enjoy everything in an xpac.

So for both types, there's an MoP waiting for you. And for all the things are are missing fromm MoP remix, once your characters become real WoW characters, they can go through MoP again and experience what they missed out on.

I do hope this is the last game mode, and with War Within, we go back to full expansions with patches giving only xpac content

Now make Tusks of Mannoroth available to learn on any class. My character is rogue. I have 28 bones already. I can buy Tusks of Mannoroth, but I can't learn it, it can't be sent wia mail. All I can do is sell it back to the vendor... So, small indie company wants me lvl up 1 more character to learn this... And problem is only with them. All other plate tmogs can be learned on rogue without any problem.

Comment by Archimtiros

Just keep it in your bags until TWW prepatch, at which point it will be added to your tmog collection anyway.(##RESPBREAK##)258##DELIM##Archimtiros##DELIM##

Well, you'd have it in your collection, you might be able to see it in the toy box, but ultimately only Horde characters can use it.

Similarly, the Theramore tabard is only obtainable/usable as transmog by Alliance characters.
