After earning the relevant achievement, this appears to be bugged. Loot from the nemesis boss seems to go straight to inventory, and this was in neither the inventory or the mail.

Got a ticket in with Blizz, hopefully see this fixed soon.

Update 1: First ticket response was not as helpful as I hoped. Seems like an old template mostly talking about Zekvir, and directing me to input a bug report which has been done. Ticket was re-opened, we shall see where it leads.

Update 2: Final ticket response indicates that GM's are incapable of assisting with the issue, and the only method of resolving the issue is inputting a bug report. If you wind up on this page looking for information like I did before this was fixed, please submit an in-game bug report as well as adding onto any forum post on the topic that you can find.

Got my Let Me Solo Him: The Underpin Achievement Last Night from Defeating The Underpin on Tier ? Mode.
The Underpin Did Not Drop Delver's Gob-Trotter Schematic: Gold Neither was this item appearing in my Inventory upon defeat of The Underpin + Nothing in my ingame mailbox.

Breaking the Bank is rewarding as intended from defeating The Underpin on Tier ? Mode.
The Underpin would atleast drop Golden-Gob Propulsion Rig on Tier ? Mode as the achievement reward says so.

As of today, it's still bugged. I recieved the title but no Schematic item to use or buy from the Delve vendors in Dornogal.
No mail as well.

let's hope blizzard fix it because the mount is pretty cool!

Today, I saw a guy with a gold mount. I asked him, but he didn’t respond. So, some people can get the schematic.

Still glitched and not being properly rewarded as of 3/17/2025. The title is rewarded but not the mount--loot goes straight to mailbox (aside from currencies) and doesn't award the schematic.

Edit: Still glitched after Tuesday maint. on 3/18.

This still requires a fix. If you are here posting, please head to the Forums and raise this issue there as well. This is only about a mount, but it's a significant achievment for one of the expansion's main systems. Blizzard may think this isn't a big deal because it's only a mount, so raising the issue where they'll see it will do the most benefit.

Just completed this and was so stoked to finally get him down. Figured the schematic would come in the mail but NOPE, nada. Come on now Blizz....delves were supposed to be one of the biggest features of the expansion and to have the primary reward be bugged for 2 weeks is just sad.

I opened an in game ticket and am hoping for more than just an automated generic response.

Not trying to be toxic, or anything. But why make a 'schematic' item to unlock something that you do personal? You simply can't get this if you don't do The Underpin solo. So why not just allow you to unlock it the second you get the achievement. Why need an additional step? Don't understand, like what's the point of clicking something rather than just obtaining it through the achievement itself. Sigh.

Hotfixed today (for some people). Saw someone with it too.
EDIT: Apparently they had to check the mount customizer. Saw a second person too.

Just did it, did not get schematic. So the fix did not work for people doing it after the fix most likely.

As of 3/18/2025, a hotfix was done where the schematic reward is auto-learned by those who previously completed the achievement - I can confirm as of today 3/20, I have the appearance at the Rostrum of Transformation; hopefully it's fixed at this point - If anyone is still missing the mount appearance at the rostrum, I would recommend submitting an additional bug report; but hopefully it's fixed for everyone!

Finally went and killed did the delve on ? after hearing it was fixed, it dropped directly from the boss for me.

Finishing the quest Brann gave me his hat and a toy
Got the achievement My new Nemesis

I think the schematic is a reward for killing him on ? because that's what the achievement say.
Defeat The Underpin in his lair on Tier ? without any other players in your party, before the release of the next season of delves.

Says it's a reward on the achievement, but for me it dropped from the boss. Feels like making it a drop might have been their solution going forward instead of adding it directly?

Defeated the Underpin on double ? difficulty and got the corresponding achievement but not this schematic. Mistakenly forgot to loot the boss but got nothing in mail. It is possible that if you loot the boss after defeating you get the schematic but something stops it from being mailed to you.

A workaround if you forget to loot or for some other reason did not get the schematic is to defeat the Underpin on single ? difficulty after. I one-shot him, it's alot easier. Then I looted him and got the schematic. Why this works I do not know.

Just managed to do this on my ele shammy, and came here to see if anyone else also didn't get the schematic. I had no new mail icon but decided to check mail anyway in dornogal, and there were the schematic and rattling sack of gold, so try relogging and checking your mail boys

Spent some time farming this in Season 3

Drops on ?/T11 Underpin in Demolition Dome

Took about 70ish kills. Couldn't get anything to track number of attempts. Got it down to 2 min kills and it dropped after 3ish days of smacking him around.

Feels kinda goofy because he doesn't drop anything

When it does drop it'll be lootable on his corpse.

Dropped for me on ? difficulty season 3, after roughly 6 attempts, all in the same day.

Just to confirm, with over 100 attempts on the same character over 3 days, this beautiful schematic finally dropped for me in Level 11 (double ? prior to Pre-patch). The drop rate is horrid, but it does drop, good luck out there.

For a bonus tip, the back piece Golden-Gob Propulsion Rig still drops. I got mine after about 30 attempts on Level 11, cheers!

After 275 kills it dropped for me, except that i don't have the Gob Trotter... I really wish i knew that before, although i should have assumed it follows same logic as others.
