The Briglia Forgiata nella Fauce is a guaranteed drop from the Scrigno di Grande Valore inside the raid Sepolcro dei Primi located before Ingegnere Xy'mox's room. It has a weekly lockout. (The Scrigno di Grande Valore will NOT spawn on LFR difficulty)

It is also a rare drop (0.5%) from the Scrigno degli Olea sold by the automa Olea Manu outside Exile's Hollow for 700x Codici dei Primi after completing the Jiro alla riscossa storyline.

Both sources requires to have the Sintesi di Protoforma (Cavalcatura) unlocked like other Protoform Reagents

To open the Scrigno di Grande Valore you need a Globo dell'Annullamento della Sicurezza which drops from Coordinatore Xy'pro after dying with the buff Annullamento Sicurezza applied to it. It gains this buff by having three or more stacks of the buff Sinergia by having broker mobs near it. It is recommended to damage Coordinatore Xy'pro until it is low and then pull nearby broker mobs to give it three stacks of Sinergia for it to gain Annullamento Sicurezza.

After killing it with the Annullamento Sicurezza buff applied it will drop a Globo dell'Annullamento della Sicurezza for someone on the raid group and will allow that person to unlock the Scrigno di Grande Valore for everyone.

NOTE: There is an oversight by Blizzard where someone that has already opened it this week can loot the Globo dell'Annullamento della Sicurezza, making them unable to unlock the Scrigno di Grande Valore for everyone else as they will not be able to see it.

We did this in a raid by getting a 1/11N ID. We invis pot past the bridge and went to ephemeral planes. Pulled the mini boss and got him to 10%, then we pulled 3 adds on top of him. After looting the orb we found out the chest was bugged and we could keep looting it resulting in 3/3 items in 1 run.

One of those things locked behind raid (and LFR doesn't even count to get this). This is Blizz mixing the new crafting system from 9.2 with raiding. At least make the reagent BoE instead of BoA, so the raiders have a gold farm too, and other people can have a way to make those 3 mounts, outside of raiding, I think.

Edit: It seems the Scrigno degli Olea bought for 700 cyphers near Exile's Hollow has a chance to drop this too. Could it drop other stuff that seems exclusive to the raid too?

The protoform no one wants to farm for on one of the EU servers lol. Tried the last 2 days but no one wants to do it. One comment I read in a group during an attempt was “i cba”. Odd how many still farm for the schematics though 🤔 😂

Wish there was another way to obtain this other than through the raid or the chest worth 700 odd cyphers of the first ones (way overpriced lol).

This cache appears to be on a weekly cooldown. On Friday I looted the chest on normal difficulty, on Sunday we tried again on heroic but the chest was invisible to me yet others could see it perfectly fine

Worst part is if you loot the item to unlock the chest you screw over the rest of the raid (which happened to me)

i have the cypher console understanding unlocked by i still cant loot this from the chest, is there other criteria needed to be able to see it?

Like many others I dont really raid but focus more on collecting mounts etc I think its kinda weird to have the Mawforged Bridle and Tools of Incomprehensible Experimentation locked behind doing the raid. I've bought like 20 Olea Caches but haven't found any so considering you need 3 of each I can already tell its going to take ages. Seems like all we can do is hope they increase the drop chance from the cache or add other ways to obtain the materials.

a couple things I've noticed....you can't loot these if the toon you're on hasn't unlocked the protoform synthesis in zm even if the chest was opened it just despawns when you open it. If you do have it unlocked you can switch out multiple toons to go in and open the chest and get it from the same instance even if that toon was not present in the group or instance when it was opened.

This can be looted on multiple characters in the same week and lockout. Sadly, the "loot 3 times quickly" method has been fixed., but if you have 3 60s with access to ZM it can be done in 1 go.

Also for those confused by some of the comments - the High Value Cache has a 100% drop rate for all people in the raid once it is unlocked. The comments talking about getting this after X number of attempts are for the Olea Cache only.

I got my first Mawforged Bridle on my main, logged on my alt and made a second group.
I killed Taskmaster and opened the chest and there was no loot in the chest and it despawned. I have unlocked the mount forge in my Cypher reasearch on this alt aswell.
I don't know what i did wrong... There were other people in the group who did not get it aswell. And no, I do not have it in my mail.

As someone who has gone back to grind a lot of older mounts, this can now be solod on Normal in DF (438 balance druid no issue).

~~I will try extending the lockout from the first boss dead on normal to see if that is an easier way to skip to the cache next reset and update this comment.~~
Edit: For easy access each week, just extend the lockout from the first boss :)

If you are like me and still missing the 3 mounts that requiresBriglia Forgiata nella Fauce the Vombatide Oscuro, Falconide Adattato alla Fauce and the Redini del Destriero di Zereth Spezzato. Look no futher you can now very easy get them by going into the Sepolcro dei Primi on Normal, kill the first boss. And then take the portal to Ephemeral Plains area where Coordinatore Xy'pro walks around and kill him while he has 3 stack of Sinergia so he get the buff Annullamento Sicurezza. To get the buffs on him he has to be surrounded by minimum 3 of the other trash mobs in the area. This will reward you with Globo dell'Annullamento della Sicurezza so you can open the chest near by. A good tip is to pull Coordinatore Xy'pro alone with no adds take him down to approx 20% then pull in 3 adds and finish him off. Now remember to look for that Annullamento Sicurezza on him before you take him out. (he is not a boss just a trash mob)

Now. The first boss can be difficult to solo for some classes others will have no problem to solo him with the current gear of ilvl 430-450 as we speak (Patch 10.1.5) But if you have problems bring in a friend. Shouldn't take more than 5 minutes. The good news is after this you can extend your raid lock out. And loot the chest the next two weeks without killing anything but besides some trash maybe. As Globo dell'Annullamento della Sicurezza stays in you inventory. So you don't need to kill either first boss or the Coordinatore Xy'pro again.

EDIT: The Globo dell'Annullamento della Sicurezza gets consumed the 2nd time so you need to kill Coordinatore Xy'pro one more time for the 3rd week. (remember to extend your raid lockout to skip first boss)

Easy to solo on Normal when you're i480+ in dragonflight. Defeat the first boss and take the rightmost flight path to the Ephemeral Plains. Take a left and pull taskmaster Xy'Pro with 5 collectors until xy'pro has 5 stacks, then single target down Xy'Pro and kill them while they have 5 stacks to get the key to the nearby chest.
