Arms Warrior Leveling Tips in

Focus on movement speed and mobility, as the biggest limiting factor for Warriors is the speed at which they can engage in new combat. Although players can use flying mounts starting at level 10, good use of Charge, Heroic Leap, and even Heroic Throw to pull more enemies in will reduce the need to mount up in between pulls.

Victory Rush is an extremely strong leveling aid, and can be safely macrod to Charge in order to save a keybind.

Die by the Sword can be used tactically to take inordinately large pulls more safely, or simply saved for emergencies.

Arms Warriors learn Sweeping Strikes at level 10, allowing them to deal with multiple targets very early on.

Stuns and slows aren't typically needed in leveling content, so can be skipped, but tend to path toward nice talents anyway.

Pathing Notes

The Warrior class tree offers a wealth of defense, utility, and most importantly mobility to keep players moving quickly throughout the leveling process. The bottom of the tree also includes an unusual amount of power, which should not be overlooked.

In the first talent tier of the Warrior tree, prioritize mobility, starting with War Machine though Bounding Stride, before taking Frothing Berserker or Pain and Gain. Rend and Storm Bolt aren't overly important early on, so they can be backfilled later.
In the second talent tier, begin with Spell Reflection through Double Time, followed by Armored to the Teeth and Reinforced Plates, then go back for leftover talents in the first tier to finish the 20 point gate.
In the third tier, prioritize Two-Handed Weapon Specialization first, before pathing over to Battlefield Commander. Take Anger Management next, and then finish out any remaining points.

The spec tree includes the majority of abilities and interactions which flesh out gameplay, though most of the defining talents are unable to be skipped.

Arms Warrior Cooldown Usage in

Colossus Smash is an Arms Warrior's main cooldown, inflicting a powerful damage debuff and either generating extra rage or applying Sweeping Strikes, depending on which talent is taken. Its cooldown is continually decreased by using other abilities, so use it regularly.

Avatar is another cooldown Arms Warriors can be talent into, though it has lost much of its attraction and special effects, now being a simple damage enhancement. While still potent, its awkward position in the talent tree requires considerable investment to get to.

Bladestorm is a talented attack which deals damage over a short period of time, on a choice node with Ravager. While both are inclined toward dealing with multiple enemies, Slayer has unique benefits that also make Bladestorm a powerful single target ability, while Ravager's lengthy cooldown make it inappropriate outside of heavy sustained multitarget content.

Where does Overpower fit into the rotation? Or do you just not use it at all?
Also what about Whirlwind? And if Thunder Clap has priority over WW, why would you take Storm of Swords?

1. Second Wind is the most convenient talent ever for solo content and more than worth the 3 talent points it takes.
2. Storm Wall is actually really good solo, especially if you are pulling large groups of melee attackers (it's not just a heal when you use Die by the Sword like I was initially thinking of it). It's likely a far better choice than Fueled by Violence for solo builds.

Shouldn’t the Arms tree have purple talents since you can’t take Impale at level 19? Oh, and in the same vein, you can’t take Spell Reflection at level 18.

Update for patch 12.0.0: You can't take Spell Reflection at level 24. I just tried.
