The Mage Tower base appearance must be earned during Legion, but the tints can be unlocked after Legion, which involves rated battlegrounds, a heroic Kil'jaeden kill, and clearing all Legion dungeons. In addition, the unlock progress on the tints is class-wide, so you don't need to complete the requirements multiple times wielding different sets of artifacts. You just need to have the base Mage Tower appearance unlocked, and you will earn progress towards each tint simply by doing that activity, regardless of artifact equipped.

You'll still have your Artifact weapon and your relics, but all the traits will be burned out and disabled. You'll still use the weapon for some time before you replace it with some green.

For Blacksmiths, Tichondrius inside Bastión Nocturno, drops Diseño: arnés de can del Núcleo vil, which allows you to create the mount Arnés de devorador de acero.

Alchemists will want to acquire Receta: poción de poder prolongado from the World Boss Na'zak el Maligno.

Alchemists and Skinners will want to advance in their profession chain to receive the quests Pesadilla Esmeralda: Fuego de ira and Pesadilla Esmeralda: El pellejo pestilente de Nythendra, which both require you to defeat Nythendra in Pesadilla Esmeralda.

Herbalists will want to advance in their profession chain to receive the quest Pesadilla Esmeralda: Dominio del matojo vil, which requires you to defeat Cenarius in Pesadilla Esmeralda.

There are plenty of people doing free Friendship Bird carries. Just go to google. :) I am part of a team myself, this week we will have gotten 6 people their bird, we do not charge people for carries.

I am a bit confused about the artifact tints:
I thought they are still obtainable, but from 8.0 onward you can use those that you unlocked to transmog over your new green stuff. Those that you unlock afterwards cannot be used in transmog. Has that changed? Or did I get something wrong?

So to clarify does that mean I don't have to do the Mage Tower, but for example as long as I kill Heroic KJ I can still get the tint?

I wonder if the class hall mission table will be nerfed as badly as the Garrison one once the new expansion comes out. I used to make a lot of gold from the garrison mission table and poof, all the gear rewards were selling for copper instead of lots of gold. Right now, with 12 alts and all with a fully upgraded class hall mission table, I can get about $15K worth of gold daily. Finish off your follower upgrades and get all of the missions in Argus done for the table to pull in the gold ASAP in case they nerf this mission table as well.

Is it confirmed that the artifact power system will go for good? Wouldn't it make sense for it to stay available for people levelling, then it just stops being a thing at lvl 111? Surely they wouldn't scrap the whole system for the whole legion expansion.

Don't forget collections (transmog and pets).
Pets like the Larva de bilis fosorial/Larva de bilis fosorial wil be massively more expensive in BfA, when nobody is farming for them.
BoE raid transmog gear could go either way, nobody will be equipping it for stats, but supply will be minimal. (LFR BoE prices more likely to go up, Mythic BoE prices more likely to go down)

I'm sure this has been answered before but will we be able to transmog our artifact weapon appearances onto other weapons in Battle for Azeroth? I have a question, that might make me seem like a noob, but who cares? In the article, under the section about the "Violet Spellwing" mount, there is this sentence: "While Ahead of the Curve: Argus the Unmaker will be gone in 8.0, you can still obtain Violet Spellwing until Battle for Azeroth launches." What is the difference between 8.0 and the launch of Battle for Azeroth? The sentence makes me think that these are two different events, which happen at different times. What's more, the sentence seems to say that 8.0 will take away Ahead of the Curve: Argus the Unmaker but that the mount will still be available for a time after that, until at some later point the mount becomes unavailable due to Battle for Azeroth launching. What is the difference between these two times? I don't understand.

Their removal will happen because both are based on activities that will lose their sense of challenge once Battle for Azeroth changes hit."

Bogus. Make said scenarios sync, akin to how timewalking scales levels/stats. There may be a lot of backlash for people who just start rolling in towards the last month or so of the xpac and miss out on the opportunity.

Hopefully, the Keystone Master tint will become account wide, since it is an achievement.

I know the original post said the achievements are still under PvP, but it'd be worth mentioning for those that follow this guide and not the news.

A few things I don't see in the post I think should probably be mentioned for collector/completionist players:

With Ashran, it's worth noting that the Lanza de Vol'jin and Vanguardia de Wrynn reputations will be unobtainable when Ashran is retired, making 100 reputaciones de Exaltado that little bit harder.
By extension, the mounts (Semental Brizancada and Rumiaespina pálido), titles ( and ), and tabards (Tabardo de la Lanza de Vol'jin and Tabardo de la Vanguardia de Wrynn) from those reputations will likely also become impossible until Ashran returns.

The post currently only mentions the achievements for Ashran, which with them becoming legacy/FoS and no longer giving achievement points, are probably not as valuable to collectors/completionists.

Probably also worth noting that players looking to obtain will NOT need to complete the SotA achievements before BfA, as SotA has been removed as a requirement from the achievement for the title in BfA and will still be obtainable, unlike how was removed with the removal of 5v5 arenas.

Last thing I don't see mentioned in the post probably worth noting is the mount, heirloom, pets, and shirts rewards from Brawler's Guild being removed.

Guys, there is one thing you've missed in this otherwise great guide - The feat of strength for completing the Class Hall Campaign on all 12 Classes (Una campaña legendaria) Do you know what happens with that? When does it go away? And also other Class Hall content, like the pets from the Druid Class Hall.

Guide also fails to mention the pet battle changes. There are some changes to specific pets (ie Teroclaw Hatchling and Bone Serpent) that are key to certain strats. This will make things like Wailing Caverns, Family Familiar, and Fel Beasts of Argus more difficult until new pets and strategies are found.

sad they removed the chosen. they have totally abandoned support for the expereince cancellation. it is very sad they did not just move this to a fos and put "at level 110 with only gear available from trial of valour mythic or prior" in the description..like..it is very sad. you can still do the ulduar one..so why? the devs are not thinking straight here. all support for twink groups has basically been abandoned.

Just found out tonight about the change from Shiny Pet Charms to Polished Pet Charms. There is no mention of this change in this article, even though a little research shows that you posted about it back in May. Thanks to Wowhead, I'm now stuck with 1,038 useless pet charms that I had been saving for the new expansion. Thanks for that.

I don't see it listed here, but I just need to confirm to make sure. The Paragon of Argus achievement isn't going away when BFA launches, right? I'm SO close to completing it, but Mistress Alluradel probably won't pop before the 14th.
