All this time I was so confident I would buy the undead horse to bear my nation's banner into war. I was certain that I would ride atop the burning, fel-flamed hooves of the horse of a true warlord to the Horde...
... but then I saw that cheetah-print seat cover. Now I know what I must do.
So i just came across these mounts here on WH and got really excited as i noticed the new mounts state (account-wide) in addition to "bind to battle.net account"
I was able to purchase the 2 alliance mounts on 2 separate characters. and was also able to purchase the 2 horde mounts on 2 separate characters.
I can confirm that as of date I'm posting, these mounts are not account-wide; nor are they faction-wide. Meaning which ever character learns the mount only that character can use it.
You can however purchase the mount on an alt if you have acquired the saddle and (
before learning the mount
) mail it over to the character you want to have it, as the "binds to battle.net account" feature is working properly.
Also the Mount (account-wide) line has been removed from the details on the live servers.
This mount is clearly unfinished:
-It's completely silent while moving.
-The spikes on the tires barely move, even if the wheels are spinning.
-Whenever you take damage while riding it (for example fall damage) IT GROWLS LIKE A WOLF.
-It doesn't have a jump animation.
It seems like the eyes/lamps from the goblinhead doesn't shine anymore when driving forward, only while turning the wheel to left/right while standing still.
No idea if this happend with the 7.1 patch, but the lights was shining while driving forward before so pretty sure the bug/error came with that update.
Since BFA I've noticed that this mount has changed in a couple of ways, half good, half bad.
The headlights now correctly light up when you're moving (used to only light up when the mount was finishing its turn animation)
It no longer growls when you take damage (does a mechanical sound like the mechano-hog)
However, it has a couple of new issues: the wheels turn far more slowly than they should (it looks like you're slipping forwards), and they phase in and out of existence everytime they start/stop spinning.
The /mountspecial is bugged as well. It does the standard running forward animation, with the same phasing issue that driving around has.
It also still doesn't have a jumping animation, but considering the standard goblin trikes don't have one either, I'll assume it's a "feature"
To get this mount do you need
you unlock this item to grind after got your seasonal pvp mount.
To the seasonal mount do you need reach 100% on pvp mount progress bar, to check it press "H".
The progress just count if you have 1400+ rating.
The fast way to grind it is by doing 3v3, you'll receive 1-2% per win.
After get 100% progress the seasonal mount will be available for all toons in your account including opposite faction toons.
After get the seasonal mount you will unlock
to grind, this item is used to buy another pvp mounts, open your mount table and search for Vicious war to see all mounts.
I spend a total of 2 days to get the seasonal mount on my disc priest 200ilvl.
