Aladin lost his carpet
If you look in the 3D model veiwer its the exact same thing as Magnificent Flying carpet(##RESPBREAK##)16##DELIM##Sas148##DELIM##
A whole new WoW!
That's where we'll be
A thrilling place
A wondrous place
For you and me! ^^
Tailors get another mount... I think it's time Leatherworkers got a mount. Think about it: it could be a bunch of leathers tied together with a magical core. Definitely beastly in nature.
A tailoring-made mount, the spell now requires 100
(which is a little strange since it can't fly...but I suppose it's supposed to hover at least?).
, this will require a max of 500
These calculations are based on the spell
(creating 4 per use), and not,
, which produces up to 10. These are based on your skill level. You will create 4 per use at non-max, and 4+ at max level.
may take some time to obtain, depending on your luck & proc rates, as it's a possible byproduct of Warlords crafting.
The current model in the View in 3D is a placeholder, as it's a copy of the Magnificent. The current in-beta version looks different.
I do hope this one is a bit dirty on the bottom/back, since it has probably been dragging its threads around.
At least it's not a two-seater mount.
I know I'd be pretty frustrated if they finally added in the two-seater carpet and it ended up being a ground-only mount.
Is anyone else wondering
they would give us a ground mount? What does that make it, a hovering carpet? It just strikes me as odd, considering we have three flying carpet models already; all of which can be "flown" along the ground if you so desire.
To answer my own question: the only reason I can think of is because we will be unable to fly in 6.0/6.1, meaning that all flying mounts are actually unsummonable. So for those wanting to summon their good ol' flying carpet, they will be able to, even in a ground-mount-only area.
It still seems... a bit weak. Especially considering the mats to craft this. :o
Oh, look, it's a flying carpet.... that doesn't fly. Tailors are apparently becoming "used mount salesmen" in the new expansion.
A flying carpet for moving picnics only. Nothing special.
Yeah another carpet ! Nice, remember me the first one when i was new in world of warcraft
Looks like the other normal carpet, not impressed
I'm not entirely convinced that this is going to be a ground mount.
This is in the Flying Mount section.
It says it's a ground mount but it's not unheard of for beta stuff to be labelled wrong.
Go to the page for the mount's spell (
Even though it says
1.5 sec cast
Summons and dismisses a Creeping Carpet. This is a ground mount.
The buff it gives reads:
Increases ground speed by 60%/100%.
Increases flight speed by 150%/280%/310%.
On the item itself, it is labelled as requiring Artisan Riding (300 riding) yet on the mount spell page, the quick facts says it requires 600 riding.
I've never heard of a ground mount that required Artisan Riding (the second flying skill)
I could be wrong but we'll have to wait and see.
Engineers got metal robot, jewelcrafters got jewel cats, alchemists got stone dragons and tailors got THIS? Really?
Hm. I hope that's a placeholder model.
Humbug, I'm not a fan of the carpet mounts. (Although, I do love their comments when mounted).
You don't have flying skill in Draenor, so makes sence that this is just a ground mount...
Damn you Blizz for taking away our beloved flying skill :(
Why? I don't see the point of mounts with minor reskins and exactly same attributes anymore. Does anyone still care about the neverending achievement points from the neverending being added achievs?
Anyone knows if i get this mount on one of my alts it will count towards the mount achievement on my main? I know i won`t be able to use, but will it increase the counter?
Being a ground mount, I was really hoping this "creeping" carpet would have a different animation and actually creep. Alas, it has the same wavy animation the other Tailoring mounts have.
the description should note that this is a fail mount...you cannot sell it to other tailors,it's a not flying flying carpet and the creeping i guess refers that it will creep you for wasting the mats to craft it...at least it gives to some tailors ''skill-ups''
This mount can NOT fly. Even in non-Draenor zones.
In wonder if this will ever fly. When they eventually add flight to Draenor, perhaps?
The fact that this mount can't fly is a big turn down for me. I use the carpet mount constantly on my mage, even in role play. When I saw this one, I got so excited because the colours are amazing. Please blizzard make it a flying mount, because you are making this mount utterly useless!
Why the heck does this require Artisan Riding?
With the recent announcement of flying being possible in Draenor, I see no reason why this thing is still a ground only mount. I hope for a retroactive change next patch.
I made this thing thinking it would be a flying mount, I mean its a flying carpet.
For everyone's information,, this mount can be crafted at a tailoring skill of 300, but you need to have Artisant Riding, lvl 70 and level 700 tailoring to be able to ride it!
The in-game info/tooltip is currently bugged, which is why it says you can ride it at a lvl300 tailoring.p
I made a quick Video of this mount if somebody like to see it :)
Damn waste that this doesn't fly. :\ Come on blizzard, why you gotta hate on the fire carpet?
I'd like it to have dozens of tiny feet like Terry Pratchett's Discworld's Luggage
Since I didn't see it here, I've compiled some information on collecting all of the flying carpets. This is useful for everyone, but especially if you are leveling tailoring only for these mounts!
There are 4 carpets currently in game (as of 6.2.2) and they all qualify as separate mounts. Only the
is not Bind on Pickup, and can be sold on the Auction House or traded.
are all BoP.
Here are some notes about these mounts:

Once learned, the mounts will remain a part of your collection and will count towards mount achievements like
. Even if professions are later switched, the mounts remain in your collection - you just won't be able to use them without Tailoring.
Below is a chart outlining where to get each carpet. The information included is:

In summary, to learn
all four mounts
(i.e. add them to your mount collection), you need the following:
Materials for all 4 carpets.

at skill level 700.
Below is a breakdown of crafted mounts. Note that "profession specific" mounts are those for which either having the profession or using the profession (e.g. Fishing, Archaeology) is REQUIRED to learn the mount. Non-profession specific mounts are those where the profession is not required to learn them - either non-soulbound mounts that everyone can use, like
, or mounts available from other sources, like
Profession specific mounts
Non-profession specific mounts
New in Legion
require Gnomish and Goblin Engineering, respectively, to craft
6 total professions (4 primary, 2 secondary) are required to get all profession specific mounts
10 crafted mounts are usable by anyone, and are typically available on the Auction House
Only 5 professions have no associated mounts - Inscription, Enchanting and the 3 gathering professions
All 5 new Legion mounts are profession specific
Remember, if you are not a main tailor.
1. To get this mount you need to make it on your alt (300+ tailor). It cannot be traded.
2. Like all mounts it is account wide, but only tailors of 700+ tailoring can ride it.
3. To learn the recipe your tailor must be artisan rider (lvl 70+ and 4-5k gold)
4. It can't fly, ever, no matter the zone or riding skill.
So gz for your mount, you spent over 2k for this doormat instead of making a 30 slot bag to sell, plus 5k for useless faster riding on your alt for a mount you can't use, just for your mount collection.
P.S. i just realised what i wrote, and what i have done, i spent 7k for a ground mount not even my tailor (300 skill) can use.
Most. Worthless. Carpet. Ever.
They could have at least made it "creep" faster than other ground mounts... can't believe I wasted the mats on this.
I just made this on my Tailoring character and meet all the requiremens, but the game says I can't use it. what gives?
Most useless mount ever.
Its only a ground mount. Laaaaaaaaaame. Passing on this. I will save my mats for something better like selling hexweave bags.
A "creeping" carpet that doesn't creep, disappointing -.-
Given that this flying carpet has the perfect representation of blood elven colors, it is extremely disappointing that this flying carpet still can't fly.
Coolest color variation of the carpet mounts imo. Such a shame that it cant fly.
How come the great Akazamzarak can fly this this mount as my bodyguard and i can't? Does he know a carpet spell which i don't? Is he a better tailor than me? And who created the Universe? Hmmm...
it takes you 5 days to get it since at +700 skill you get 20 hexweave and you need 5 days to get 1 token everday for the recipe
Make sure you pay attention with this, I definitely just fudged up with it. I wasn't paying attention when I hit create all, meant to make bags, made 6 of these instead. The mount is BOP, can't be vendored, and can't be De'd.
