You can level from 1-700 exclusively with Draenor recipes and mats too!
This guide also covers how professions relate to your Garrison, including benefits you can get without even learning the profession!

Crafting Reagents
妖纹布
is a tradeskill item for many recipes. It is acquired several ways.
妖纹布
creates 8
妖纹布
, with the chance of more based on your skill. Takes 20
奢华兽毛
and 10
戈尔隆德捕蝇草
.
Work Orders take 4 hours to complete, take 5
奢华兽毛
, and yields 2
妖纹布
. If you assign a follower with the Tailoring trait to your lab, it will increase the output of your Work Orders.
You can also turn in 10
原始之灵
for a
妖纹布
(5 in 6.2).
In 6.1, players can purchase
原始织造
from Fur traders
“二号”多萝茜
and
卡尔芙·克林
. The recipe costs 60
奢华兽毛
. This lets you create
妖纹布
without any cooldown, which takes
原始之灵
and 10
奢华兽毛
.
More so than in past expansions, Tailoring draws upon a variety of reagents from other professions, such as
奢华兽毛
,
德拉诺智力药水
,
戈尔隆德捕蝇草
,
巫术之水
,
巫术之土
,
天然兽皮
,
巫术之气
.
The
货栈等级1
lets you trade in varying amounts of
要塞物资
(depends on the daily trader--some have better deals than others) for 5 herbs,
奢华兽毛
, fish, meat, ore,
德拉诺之尘
, or
天然兽皮
. You can unlock the trader at level 1 by completing
商业机密
.

I see that the Tailored Armor has 5 color variations. I wonder, is the color randomized along with the enchantment? Could be interesting ^^

This is very interesting. Crafted gear starts at 640, but is capable of being upgraded twice to a max of 665. That's a mere 5 points below Heroic raid gear and 20 points below Mythic. Item Levels for raids are 655 (Normal), 670 (Heroic), and 685 (Mythic).
Considering the materials required for upgrading crafted gear, this means that crafted gear will no longer be a preferred method for quickly increasing a character's iLevel, but useful for long term upgrades, since there is a complete set you can craft, rather than just a couple of pieces.
Just a quick note for those not familiar with the new raid format, the old format goes LFR<Flex<Normal<Heroic while the new format goes LFR<Normal<Heroic<Mythic. This means that while the raid will be called "Heroic" difficulty, it's equal to "Normal" difficulty.
Edit: Wow, I can't believe I didn't notice this before.
This crafted gear is usable at level 91, including the crafted weapons.
I would be shocked if these didn't sell like crazy during the entire first raid tier, if not the entire expansion. Just to clarify, Warlords doesn't start it's iLevel around the previous raid tier (like Cata and MoP did) but instead starts around 500-510. Meaning the crafted gear will be immensely powerful for leveling, even with it limited to three pieces. Gear you can equip at level 91 and not even have to replace until Heroic/Mythic raiding in tier 17.
I'd also point out that the crafted weapons (in addition to being upgradable to iLevel 655) is 10 points above the maximum iLevel that Garrosh's heirlooms scale to by level 100 (they scale to a max of 620, regardless of what difficulty they came from). If Blizzard doesn't change this, I'm going to love leveling on my alts once my main has gotten his garrison going.
Edit: Seems crafted armor is now upgraded to 670, equal to Heroic Highmaul. Weapons, in case anyone is curious, are upgradable to a max of iLevel 660.
Edit: There will be a third upgrade option come patch 6.1. Stage four armor will be iLevel 685, while stage four weapons will be iLevel 675. This is equal to Heroic Blackrock (making it useful to anyone that isn't a hardcore Mythic raider).
Edit: Just want to make a quick comment on Rush Work Orders. This can significantly cut down on the time to craft gear and their upgrades. One rush will complete five work orders instantly, so essentially, this takes the 29.5 days (That's a single character with the profession and it's building crafting and fully upgrading a single item) and cuts it down by 1 day for every two rushes. This of course does not take into account the new recipe that lets you consume Primal Spirits to craft special materials without a cooldown. (Using the Primal Spirits to craft, rather than buy, special materials is 10 times more efficient, though I still suggest spending the spirits on Savage Blood)

Wow, so gonna have to change one of my profs on my mage. Tailoring looks like it will have to be tied to other professions as standard, now that raid buffs arent a factor.

The tome is not dropped from mobs, its droppped from a chain quest final boss. Like every single other profession rank 1 blueprint.
The wording needs to be changed, to reflect the name of the boss depending on which faction you are...
you cannot grind these things...the only things you can grind are for herbalism, mining, fishing and any other resource gathering.
You cannot obtain the scrolls for the manufacturing professions, you must do the chain quest and kill the last boss in the sequence, he then drops the profession making scroll and the garrison profession blueprint!
EDIT: I thought i better edit this post, sorry for the confusion, because there has been a awful lot of it.
You can grind for these production scrolls, all of them will eventually drop from the mobs in shadowmoon valley, as far as I am aware it's the only place they will drop from mobs, and for them to drop for you , you must already have the profession.
Fishing, just fish in open sea water, and within a cast or two, you have the fishing scroll, similar for the mining / herb collecting professions, they tend to drop pretty quickly.
The only reason I know this, was from trial and experiment. On one of my alts, I stupidly forgot to take a profession, and i had already killed the chain boss at the start. I raced to stormshield and grabbed the skinning and leather-working professions. The went about my business, doing quests in smv, when approximately i had killed a good couple of hundred mobs, the scroll dropped, but stupidly i had already bought it from the trainer in stormshield, thinking that because i had killed the boss who drops it at 100% i had no way to get it again, and had to buy it. So i was shocked when it dropped, despite the fact i had already had and learned it.
So moral of the story is, all the scrolls through experience will drop, collecting / fishing / cooking / herbing / mining will get the scrolls the moment you actually do something with that profession, its very quick...as for production..some times it just better to buy the scroll, then at 92 build the stall and your good to go!
I hope i cleared it all up.

The cryptic tome/frostwolf tailoring kit lets you level tailoring from 1-600 almost instantly? Is that how the item works? After you get the tailoring kit what must you do with it to level up tailoring?
评论来自
1405621
PLEASE NOTE: These items are "unique: Warlords crafted 3" - which means no one can have more than 3 crafted epics on one character! You may want to plan very carefully what you craft, because - similar to Apexis Crystal gear - once you start down a path, it's more efficient to keep leveling that same item. (In other words, you don't want to make a crafted bracer and then later try to get the Apexis Crystals one; it would be better to just level the same item the same way.) This makes crafting MUCH more niche than it was before.
For reference, the gear you can purchase with Apexis Crystals are: bracers, capes, belts, hands, legs, and helms. This leaves chest, shoulder, and feet slots from crafted armor professions, neck and ring from jewelcrafting, trinkets from inscription (potentially alchemy as well), and weapon / offhand from various. However the Apexis Crystal gear starts at 630 and maxes at 655, while the crafted items start at 640 and max at 665. Crafted weapons are only 630, though, and some can be upgraded (Blacksmithing) and some do not appear to be able to be upgraded (Inscription). The trinkets don't seem to be upgradable yet, either.
Also, it's still not clear whether or not the Essence / Greater Essence items are BoP or not (tooltip has claimed yes and no) so you may or may not be able to upgrade your alt's gear. (But it's probably not meant to be BoP.)
Edit: This guide is helpful in showing how you can cover the different slots:
http://www.wowhead.com/news=244117/warlords-of-draenor-early-gearing-guide
When it comes to choosing what to craft, it really depends on whether or not you're trying to max your stats, or your ilevel. Leg-slot items are very high stat, which means it's a prime choice for crafting so you can max out one of your more powerful pieces. However since 99% of the game revolves around ilevel, chest / shoulder / feet should be your craft, to give you the least number of overlaps with the Apexis Crystal gear. The exception would be jewelers who should make their own neck piece and one of their rings, since they can get these up to 665.
All of this ignores dungeon gear, which is 630 from heroics and goes up to 640 for LFR and so on. Also it ignores the fact that ALL of these methods are extremely slow. Just getting the best leggings from Apexis gear will take 36500 crystals, which are currently maxed around 6k / week - so 6 weeks for a single item! Similarly, crafting a single piece of 665 gear will take 450 hexweave cloth, which will also takes weeks to get.

Just in case anyone else is wondering, I've found out that crafted cloaks (in tailoring or leatherworking) can't have spirit or bonus armor, even though there are dropped cloaks that have those stats.

Draewind
In WoW professions we now buid items that can rival the raid drop items and are far better than the dungeon drop items. They start small and can be made bigger and bigger. They all are created with what is called a
<Random Enchantment>
. We even craft items to take another roll at the <Random Enchantment> on the gear. The random enchant includes 2 of the secondary stats (giving us a measurable chance or RNG). Items for the Back (cloak), neck, neck, finger(ring), weapon, and shield, have a greater number of possibilities than other armor items, because they can contain the secondary statistics of Bonus Armor and Spirit (fortunately they do not include the combination of both those statistics ;-).
All of the items have a name in the form of "<ItemName> of the
<RandomEnchantComboName>
". If you click on the
<RandomEnchantComboName>
link, it will take you to a chart with all the possible names and combinations. I wish I could add a picture here.
http://compuball.com/forum/WoWRandomEnchantment.png
Examples:
"
钢铸护盾
of the Guileful" would have Critical Strike and Bonus Armor as the <Random Enchant>
"
真钢护胸
of the Harmonious" would have Mastery and Versatitility as the <Random Enchant>
(I think I threw up a little bit there)
Most Armor Items:
As we see from this graph, the number of possible <Random Enchantments> for most armor items will be 10. So, you have a 1 in 10 (1/10 or
10%
) possibility of getting just the mixture of statistics you want.
Cloaks, Necks, Rings, Shields, Weapons:
These items have an additional 2 statisctics added to the normal 4. The added statistics, as mentioned earlier, are Bonus Armor and Spirit (Tank and Healer statistics, respectively). Fortunately there is no combination of both Bonus Armor and Spirit (ever here of teats on a boar hog?)
Only weapon types
intended
for a healing class will have the possibility of Spirit, and only weapon types
intended
for a tanking class will have Bonus Armor. Weapons
intended
for both, will have the same chances as all the jewelry, cloaks, and shields. So if it can be enchanted (by enchanting) or is a shield, it fits in this class of item.
So your chances of getting the perfect necklace with just the right two secondary statistics is 1 in 20 (1/20 or
5%
). I am not certain whether Bonus Armor and Spirit have the same chance of being included. If they are given a single chance and then chosen between the two, then your chance for an item with perfect statistics not including Bonus Armor or Spirit would be 1 in 15 (1/15 or
6.67%
).
I would list here all the values associated with the <Random Enchantments>, however they vary depending on the slot and material. They also vary with the level of the individual wearing or looking at them.
There you have it. All the possible names and combinations. All items of the same level contain the same amount of statistic, such as "54 Critical Strike" and I have not seen a crafted item with a double a statistic (only one statistic but twice the value).
EDIT: None of content, just spelling and highlighting.

Just want to point out, it seems Blizzard decided to do away with the charge-based system for every profession. Your daily cooldown no longer changes when you reach 700 skill level, instead staying (and for those who were already at 700, reverting) at the daily cooldown without charges. Perhaps it wasn't working as intended, though I'm not sure why Blizzard decided to scrap the whole system and not even bother to tell us.

Perhaps someone can explain why this page shows characters wearing complete sets of this crafted armour - when in fact you can only wear 3 items of it at one time - ever? It is therefore in my opinion this is not a set that you can ever wear - unless these things drop and are not included in your 3 limit.
Also a number of pages/guides are also misleading about the items you can craft - suggesting again that full armour sets can be created. And Blizzard really ought to update their tooltips on the Warlords-Crafted items to include a WARNING text that ONLY 3 items can be worn at any time - because really the (3) just isn't really explanatory enough - given the magnitude of a decision to craft a 4th item only to find you can't use it - or crafting items which conflict with those obtained from the Apexis grinds.
And WHY not allow people to craft themselves a full set - with rings and necks? I mean, it's not exactly an easy job! It takes a lot of time and effort and cost - since you cannot craft all the upgrades yourself - at least not without retuning your professions and your garrison buildings. Where exactly is the problem if a paying customer would like to get themselves geared up to around 670 ilevel over several months of farming and crafting - without having to do Raids? If they get their pleasure in the game that way - it isn't taking anything away from anybody else who likes to do Raids - who would earn their top gear much quicker as their reward.
For a brief moment I thought this game had become more enlightened and embracing of different types of players. I hate the Dailies grinding - especially competing with other players who skitter around you in a race to pull mobs. And LFG and LFR are also equally vile and joyless experiences. The continuation of Horde/Alliance hostility is also really rather tedious. Grow Up!

Two questions. Above it states that Primal Spirit can be traded for Hexweave Cloth. Where is this done? And also regarding the missions for followers with the tailor trait. Do you have to have an active follower with the trait in order to be offered the missions or does the one I have working in the tailor building count?

Don't forget Dorothy "Two". This NPC stands in the entry way of your level 3 garrison. She sells the recipe "Primal Weaving" for 60 sumptuous fur. This will allow you to craft Hexweave without the daily CD.

OK; another of what I like to call my "n00b questions"; How do you 'defeat' the Global CD of crafting materials, or was it something implemented in Beta to get stuff made quicker, then removed when WoD was released?
I've seen Multi-Crafting (in this case,
妖纹布
) mentioned in a few comments for crafting in Warlords of Draenor, but have never been able to DO multiple 'crafts' in one day since release.
Odd one to still go unchallenged in comments...

Thought I read somewhere the hexweave gear was having its materials nerfed, not just the upgrades for 6.2. Is everything staying 100 hexweave?

As of 6.1, you now get 8-20 Hexweave Cloth for your Tailoring daily CD (depending on Tailoring level), and your work orders now yield 2 cloth (without a follower attached) or 4 (with a follower attached).

What a guide telling me exactly nothing. Basically you are guided through it all by the game. The problem comes in with the latest patches which makes levelling from about lvl 775 to 800 impossible because for all the tailoring quests you get receipes which are GREEN and you can make them by the 50s and do not get a single skill point.
All the tailoring quests done and the only one not done is the bag of a thousand pockets which is apparently a 'drop' of 4% and basically impossible to get unless you want to do a dungeon over and over for the rest of your life in the hope of a drop
Somebody actually wrote that the bag does nothing in relation to advances either.
Some are apparently lucky and somehow got to 800. I am on the point of throwing the whole WOW game into the garbage for good if they give impossible quests and only solution they give is Wowhead, (here) which also is useless! in this regard as it relies on what people send in and if nobody sends in a solution tough luck. Icy veins is another Wow sucker that writes the customer service for Blizzard who try to get away with no customer service at all.
So.... Wowhead............thanks for nothing!
