Celestial TournamentOverview

To queue up for the tournament, speak to 李大师 and pick up the weekly quest 天神比武大会.

Once zoned into the tournament, you cannot heal your pets. There is an NPC that lets you heal inside, but she'll do a yell and reset your progress when you do.

Healing or zoning out of the tournament resets your progress.

There are two stages in the tournament:
In the first stage, you will fight three pet tamers with legendary pet teams. These teams change every week, and there are a total of at least nine different teams.

In the second stage, you will fight the four legendary elite battle pets: 赤芝，赤精的雏鸟, 雪福，雪怒的幼崽, 玉兰，玉珑的子嗣, 皂皂，砮皂的幼犊

25 战斗宠物绷带 for 1 天神铸币: Heals and resurrects all of your battle pets to 100% health.

for 3 天神铸币: Instantly upgrades any battle pet to Rare quality. Pets level 15 and greater lose up to two levels in the process.

宠物糕点 for 1 天神铸币: Battle pet experience gained is increased by 50% for 1 hour.

元素: Elementals ignore all weather effects.

元素: Elementals ignore all negative direct weather effects. An Elemental pet takes the damage reduction from 沙尘暴, but doesn't get reduced accuracy.

魔法: Magic pets cannot be dealt more than 40% of their maximum health in one attack.

魔法: Magic pets cannot be dealt more than 35% of their maximum health in one attack.

General Changes

Pets can be won from bonus rolls now--雷电王座 pets with 魔古命运符文 and 决战奥格瑞玛 pets with 战火徽记.
雷电王座 pets: 意志之子 from 黑暗意志, 活化小沙粒 from Council, 季鹍雏凤 from 季鹍, 活化液体 from 普利莫修斯 LFR, 恐怖黏液怪 from 普利莫修斯 Normal and Heroic, 迷你恐角龙 from 赫利东.

The in-game map only displays battle pet levels when tracking battle pets. You can also view a zone's wild battle pet levels in the Quick Facts section on Wowhead's zone pages.
For players that take longer than 15 seconds to act in a PvP battle, round timers will get shorter for balance.
Battle Pet Training is much cheaper.
Players can learn 1000 battle pets, up from 650.
Three family-specific Flawless Battle-Stones, like 无瑕野兽战斗石, can be turned into one general purpose Flawless Battle-Stone.

Battle Pet Tools and Other Resources

Our latest tool, the battle pet team calculator, lets users build and save their own pet teams, look up any in-game pet team from Battle.net, load trainer teams, and compare their team against others. It also summarizes a team's strengths, weaknesses, healing, and other notable abilities. This is now updated in 5.4 to include the Celestial Tournament teams!
Our battle pet database includes gallery and traditional views of all battle pets, which cover a pet's abilities, sources, type, and stats that change based on breed.
Each battle pet page includes details on its abilities, pets with identical models, a map, cageable/unique details, and a calculator that shows stats based on breed, quality, and level.
The battle pet ability database has numerous filters for things like pet mechanics, weather, and buffs. All battle pet ability pages have a calculator that shows stat scaling based on pet species, level, breed, and quality.

Battle Pet Patch Notes

Rygarius

A new pet battle tournament is available on the Timeless Isle, more details coming soon!
Round timers in PvP Pet Battles will now get progressively shorter for a player who takes more than 15 seconds to issue a command during their turn.
Players are now able to trade in any 3 of the same family specific Flawless Battle-Stones for a single .
Viewable pet battles will now display working health bars.
Battle Pet levels are now only shown on the map if you are tracking Battle Pets.
Aquatic type's passive effect now reduces damage from damage-over-time effects by 50%, up from 25%.
Critter type's passive effect now makes critters immune to roots, stuns, and sleep effects.
Dragonkin type's passive effect now activates after an attack brings a target's to below 50% health, up from 25%.
Elemental type's passive effect now only affects negative direct effects of weather. (E.g. Sandstorm's accuracy reduction won't be applied, but the damage reduction will.)
Magic type's passive effect now caps damage taken at 35% of maximum health, up from 40%.
Battle Pet Training cost and the price of pets sold by Battle Pet Trainers have been greatly reduced.

Battle Pets

Any Battle Pet that could be awarded from a 雷电王座 boss on Raid Finder difficulty can now be won from a bonus roll, in addition to the standard bonus roll reward.
暗月飞艇: Several abilities have swapped positions.
机械熊猫人幼龙: Several abilities have swapped positions.
小旋风: The 沙尘暴 ability has been replaced with 召唤闪电.

Battle Pet Abilities

Battle Pet abilities with a component that increases in damage every time it hits will no longer reset when an opponent's pet gets swapped. (奥术冲击, 青蛙的吻, etc.)
Accuracy now affects the entire team.
召唤闪电's duration has been reduced to 5 rounds (down from 9 rounds), and cooldown has been increased to 5 rounds (up from 3 rounds).
Dark Simulacrum has been replaced with a new ability, 腐烂. 腐烂 deals Undead damage and temporarily turns the enemy pet's type into Undead.
死亡之握 cooldown increased to 4 rounds (up from 3 rounds), damage has been reduced by 50%, and hit chance has been reduced to match similar abilities.
虚空之门 damage has been reduced by 33%.
沙尘暴's duration has been reduced to 5 rounds (down from 9 rounds), and cooldown has been increased to 5 rounds (up from 3 rounds).
横扫 damage has been reduced by 33%.
三角冲锋 damage has been reduced by 11.5% and now has a 1-round cooldown.
三角护盾 now displays the correct amount of damage reduction.
