Stratholme Undead Dungeon Strategy Guide WoW Classic
Stratholme Live Dungeon Overview
斯坦索姆
is divided into two sections, commonly referred to as Strat Undead and Strat Live, based on the mobs present in that half. Strat Live is a dungeon for levels 55-60. Generally, this dungeon is completed by five people depending on group composition and boasts a good amount of pre-raid BiS gear for most classes.

You should note that to complete the dungeon fully, you will need a

pick the locks of these doors if no one has the key.
Stratholme is limited to groups of 5 players, although several other dungeons allow more.

Tier 0 Dungeon Set Items from Stratholme Live
Stratholme Live drops several pieces of the Tier 0 / Dungeon Set 1 armor sets. Each set has 2-piece, 4-piece, 6-piece and 8-piece bonuses, granting additional stats and effects as more pieces of a set are equipped.
Tier 0 items can be equipped by any class, but players with Tier 0 pieces will be able to embark on a difficult questline across many dungeons to upgrade these pieces. You will need the Tier 0 items appropriate for your class to proceed on the quest, so ask before rolling on a tier item that was not designed for your class.

Scourgestones are one of the main ways to gather reputation with the Argent Dawn. The Argent Dawn Commission is a trinket that, when equipped, allows you to collect Scourgestones from Undead mobs in the Plaguelands via

. Scourgestones can be turned in for reputation in any Argent Dawn camps for reputation. Each turn-in grants
50 Reputation
with the Argent Dawn as well as an

, which grants an additional 100 Reputation on use.

With your trinket equipped, you will find many Scourgestones in the early part of Strat Live, including

Other Notable Stratholme Live Loot

has unlucky itemization (13 of every stat) and resembles a cloth shirt even though it is leather.

Recommended Group Composition for Stratholme
Dungeons are usually completed with five players, comprising the following roles:
A
tank
to hold threat, absorb damage, and prevent the enemy mobs from killing the DPS and healer. Usually a Tank Warrior equipping a
shield
and using proper threat-generatig abilities like

Three
DPS
: All classes can deal DPS, but the most popular DPS while leveling is Mage, Warrior, Rogue, Warlock, and Hunter. Hybrids can DPS, but they will usually end up healing.
A
healer
to keep the party alive, and resurrect dead players. Usually a Healing Priest due to their versatile healing kit and buffs like
, but Druids, Paladins, and Shaman can also heal.
For

, there will be many fights that contain a big group of enemies of Humanoids & Undead. AoE and cleave can help greatly, but Crowd Control will, too, if you'd like to pull more methodically. Examples of CC that will help are:

How to Get to Stratholme Live
斯坦索姆
is located in the northwest of

. To get there as Horde or Alliance simply fly to Lights Hope Chapel and run northwest.

The bosses will be covered below, some of the optional bosses like

your group may choose to skip, purely aiming to go straight to the Scarlet section of the dungeon. If you need something and you think your tank might be aiming to skip it, just let them know you need something from whichever boss it may be, and they will most likely help you do it.

The first boss you may encounter is
艾茲拉‧格里姆
. He is located at the green number 6 on the layout map. You must click on the wooden tobacco box in the area to summon him. He has an AoE fire attack and an AoE stun, so spreading out a little can help. He also spawns a bunch of adds with him and will also pull any extra mobs in the area, so make sure they're all dead, or the fight may be a little too hard. If you do happen to wipe, the mailbox will despawn, and you will not be able to summon him again until you reset the instance.

Skul (rare)

is a rare spawn that you may encounter just before

at number 1 on the map. He also has another spawn point over to the east side of the dungeon. His mechanics are very simple, he just casts spells which you should interrupt to reduce damage if you can.

You should be careful as this boss will spawn a few other non elite adds along with it so running through with mobs already on you or unprepared with good health and mana levels could result in some hard ship. It has no mechanics apart from the extra mobs it spawns and a shadow spell that also slows.

Can be summoned by clicking on the blacksmithing plans located on the floor at number 8 on the map. He is a simple tank and spank and only drops

Cannon Master Willey

spawns at number 9 on the map. He will spawn several adds during the fight which are ranged so you will have to deal with them by switching to them or you can pick up a cannon ball near

and use it on one of the cannons and it will shoot out and kill them. He has an interrupt but apart from that it is a simple fight as long as the adds are dealt with.

He has a large unique loot table so don't be surprised if you have to run this guy a fair few times before you get your drop. His drops are:

You should try to CC the player he mind controls. Stand max range to avoid the fear if you are a caster and dispel the sleep off your party members if you can. Apart from those abilities he will cast shadow spells and the fight isn't too hard.

Obtaining the Key to the City and Unlocking Strat Undead
To obtain the

you will start from Point A on the map and make your way up and around to Number 12. Follow the marked line and kill/loot

Lots of misinformation in this guide:
1.
Fras Siabi
The first boss you may encounter is Fras Siabi. He is located at the green number 6 on the layout map. You must click on the mailbox in the area and take the contents to summon him.
There's a wooden box on the floor next to a house. When you open it Fras Siabi spawns. The quest item (Siabi's Premium Tobacco) drops from him. The mailbox has nothing to do with him or his spawning. It just happens to stand close to the wooden box.
2.
Postmaster Malown
Once you have opened 3 you will spawn Postmaster Malown down near number 6 on the map where Fras Siabi is also summoned. Apart from that, he has a stun and a few warlock spells; this fight is a simple tank and spank.
First of all, Postmaster Malown spawns when you open 3rd mailbox exactly where you are at the time of opening, not at the green number 6'. We spawned him next to Timmy the Cruel mailbox in front of cathedral entrance. He spawns together with 3 elites(Undead Postman) that normally spawn when you open a mailbox. They have a nasty all stats reduction debuff. We had our tank reporting -29% all stats reduction. 3 elites + boss with fears is not a simple tank and spank fight.
It's been 6 months of Classic and there's still so much wrong information...

"your Hearthstone set to Lights Hope Chapel" is not possible currently, maybe in Phase 6...
Nearest hearth location is Wildhammer Keep - some fair run away from Strat sadly.
