The Cannon Master's on the west side of Stratholme - as you enter Strath, head left. You gotta kill quite a few undead groups to get to live side first. Then eventually you'll hit a bunch of Scarlet guys, head into their cathedral thing that is the same as Scarlet Monestary Library/Armory, and go 'til you hit two doors. Go in the right side door and clear the hallway, Cannon Master's at the end of it. Fun fight, can be somewhat tough. The other door leads to the Grand Crusader, a guy that morphs into Varimathras' eledged brother.

Only rogue, shadows drop, i take - get to balnazzar and he drops wrymtongue (i let guild hunter take, Not worth +1sta/agi to rob him off 23 agi) -

Wrymtongue have 1agi 1stam and 5 armor over these. so yes, if you have both, SC better in set, wrym better solo - but once you have shadow why farm balnazaar except to help friends?

Got these on my first strat scarlet run ever!

I guess the drop chance is kinda high, or i'm just really lucky...

this is my third SC part and i have done strat baron like 30 times now, trying to get my pants but they never drop : /

There was a second rogue, but he got dc'd so we replaced him with a hunter.

Anyways, it was my first time in Live strat, and willy dropped the spaulders, and i got them, as well as a riteous orb. was a nice run. A guildy of mine, got the other 2 orbs that dropped :)

Got 5/8 of the sc set now, and once i get the gloves from Lbrs (tried a bunch so far) ill just need to farm Scholo for the last 2 :)

Wow i have ran 12 runs in the past 2 days and i havnt seen these shoulders drop yet, startin to piss me off. Hopefully wont take me 30 runs to get these, cause i want to turn them into tier .5 soon. Dont give to druids, ITS A ROGUE SET. Rogues should have priority for this if it drops.

I can now proudly and humbly say i join the elite.
Luck was on my side in everyway possible. Not only did it drop on my first run to Live side EVER, but i rolled a perfect 100 for it. (soz to make ya'll jealous :D
Now all i need is that dam cap! COMON Dark Master Gandling!

It took me 38 runs in total, yes I was counting, I made roughly 800g in orb drops alone (usually got one a run, but they are only worth 50g on my server and I gave away a few to friends).

My advice to rogues, don't go to this place with druids, ever. Nothing against the class, just some of the bad apples in it. Run 8 I saw them, two of my friends where on the run, we got sick of waiting for guild mates to log on so we picked up a druid and a warrior.

They saw them and went "woah gratz! FINALLY! WELL DONE!" and then the druid out rolled me... My fault for not turning on master looter... I could of cried. I had told everyone that's what I was there for and the druid said "that's cool" and I thought that was that.

I just sat there in stunned confusion and then my friends let RIP on the poor bugger. I swear in real life he would of been the one crying after my friends were done with him.

After that I didn't join a team with a druid in it for live strat and refused to recruit them, I also turned on master looter just for that boss (if I was leader). Then the other day after not bothering with it for about a month I joined another team, with a druid as a leader, and I asked about them and he posted some purple AQ40 shoulders for his tanking form and said "no problems here" and then he turned on master looter when we downed the boss and the next thing I know there are some nice pretty shoulders in my inventory :D

This is great for feral druids.

my druid lvl 53 now, have about 7500 in armor now. If i use 2 wildheart gear and 2 shadowcraft gear i will have about 8500-9500 in armor when i hit lvl 55.. So rouge`s get over it.. this is also a druid thing.. :)

I completely agree that rogues should get this over druids. This is after all a rogue set piece even if you are feral. My advice to you feral druids trying to get the Shadowcraft pieces is to simply get in a group that has no rogue, so there is no one else who needs it. Groups need a person for dps, they usually take rogues because they are more common, but feral druids are good dps so you could easily take the place of a rogue. I hope this helps you ferals out there.

Got mine tonight, oddly that was only the 2nd Live Side run I've done since I started playing the game at launch... just never really got around to finding any groups.

Anywho, it's been a really crazy streak of luck for me, got my bracers and boots the night before along with an ancient bone bow, and I got a righteous orb on the run I picked these up from. =)

I need only these shoulders for my full darkmantle set and they dont drop, its impossible to find a group for this since every1 is obsessed with randoms rolling on their precious orbs, seens im guildless (which is why i even go for the darkmantle set) it takes me 5 hrs to even get a group and then a bit of persuasion to get them to even kill willey and now on my 20+ run they still aint dropped. GG. Good luck getting yours and if u do get a group dont take a hunter cause he'll probably roll need

Trying to get these to continue on the Darkmantle quest line (because the Darkmantle Cap is hotsecks)... 12 runs so far this week and no drop... I've seen EVERYTHING on his loot table so far except for the shoulders. Horrible, awful, terrible drop rate.

edit: 16 runs so far in the past week, no shoulders, and i've seen plans for heartseeker (4% drop) twice, portable howitzer (9%) six times, redemption (6%) twice, and the back scratcher (6%) once, but the shadowcraft spaulders (10.5%) ZERO times. wtfm8.

Killed Willy 16th time yesterday still no drop. I dont have the tunic either so it will takes months for me to start doing ZG, Onyxia, MC runs. Is this game really about doing the same instance 20-30times?

I have had the rest of the set for sometime now and its a little aggravating to know that I got the Breastplate of Bloodthirst before I got my shoulders. Wouldn't be so bad if groups were easier to find for this instance. Oh well...I will keep at. Good Luck to you all and grats to those that have them.

I've run thru Live Strat 28 times in past 3 weeks, and the Shoulders have never dropped. It's the only piece of SC I don't have, and I've finished all the quests to upgrade pieces 4-6 to the Tier 0.5 set as soon as I have the shoulders.

The drop rate is allegedly around 10%, the same as my chance to pop out of stealth when sapping. Guess which one happens all the time in Strat?

It's really getting frustrating.

I am very much annoyed by the coincidence that Shadowcraft Spaulders are found from Strat Scarlet-side, which nobody wants to do. I just had to form a 5man group for 1 hour and 20 minutes. I could have grabbed any Strat Baron-run in few seconds. After all that, 10% drop? /cry This is my second run. I hope they drop. Its PAIN IN THE ASS.

Last night I saw this in Orgrimamr general chat: "Looking for DPS and priest for strat scarlaet" Hadn't done any instancing with my rogue for a month so i thought, sure. I got in, whispered the first priest on /who, he joined aswell. Got to Willey, smacked him and these dropped. Didn't even know they dropepd from him, won them (I was only leather) and now I got 3 parts of the set.

Later that night a guildie told me she had given up hunting for them after her 20th run...

i was today my first run to Strat Scarlet(at least first i killed some bosses) nothing was dropping, Timmy didnt dropped mace, last boss didnt drop shoulders, i win only 1 warlord card and enchant recipe
Then we go to Cannon master and i thought, no shadowcraft ever dropped for me and its low chance so thought i wont get it... BUT I DID HA! on my first run xD i look soooo great with it and i was lucky cause 10 seconds after me other rogue asked for place xP aslo was wondering should i go cause was in WSG with druid but i decided and i am so happy now mhmmm

I've made so many runs of this place and only seen them drop once. Of course I was outrolled by the other rogue, at least it was a guildy. I will never stop until I either get theses or the D-Cups. Preferably the D-Cups :)

More like a damn .02% chance to drop, im sick to death of running this scholo and UBRS for the chest head and shoulders. All i see drop are other set pieces that people are getting on the first run there for them, makes me sick.

Got mine last night.. after about 20 runs I'd guess...
I've seen everything on the loot-table from cannon master willey, and most of them more then once!
Agreed on that the droprate cant be right, and that finding a group to Scarlet side is a pain the arse, but you do make quite good money for a run throu scarlet!

I think I've gotten about 5 orbs total, and alot of blues on greed-roll that I've sharded... And I always got atleast 2 stacks of runecloth and some bonefragments that I stacked in the bank and sold now when I aint goin there no more!

I discovered also last night that I've played scholo ans strat so many times, cus of the boots, cap and shoulders that I'm now revered with AD without handing in my scourgestones ^^

Only the tunic left to get now.. wich I've also spent alot of time on gettin and probably 15+ runs.. guess it'll take 15 more with my %^&*ty luck!

29 runs since im lvl 60, everything drops but sc shoulders. I seriously doubt that the rate is actually above 5%. And Im afraid I will get outrolled by an 56 rogue who does his 1st run on scarlet ... :(
