Best Restoration Druid Talent Tree Builds - Midnight Pre-Patch

I would say that if a player is wanting to become a better overall PvP Resto Druid, it may be beneficial to quest in War Mode in that respective spec. It forces the player to learn to play all aspects of a druid; whether that is kiting in travel form, switching to feral form to do additional dps, movement impairing escape tactics and much more.

I also feel that if you are putting your talent point into Tranquility Cooldown Reduction, you should put your point into Flourish as well. They compliment each other very well and become a lifesaver in those early Mythic runs in BFA.

I agree with most of this but I think the prosperity/soul of the forest/flourish combo is underappreciated. In groups where you are druid heavy while raiding. I see a LOT of raid groups with Cenarion Ward druid builds and in all honesty it leaves a gap in tank heals if you are short a pally or monk. Swiftmend can be a saving grace in situation where you don't have a tank sitter and hit panic mode on spiky incoming damage. The Swiftmend/wild growth/flourish combo on a tank that already has Rejuv,Regrowth and Lifebloom on him is a for sure tank savior, toss in a bit of Ironbark and you'll bring him right back from the brink of death.

Now granted this build will definitely not put you at the top of Details/Recount, but you will save many a life with it including those hard hitting dps that like to stand in the fire ;)

These talents are really wrong whether your trying to PVP or PVE.
PVE - Prosperity, Renewal, Guardian Affinity, Bash, SOTF, Stonebark, Germination
PVP - Prosperity, Dash/Charge depending on play style, Feral Affin for 2s, guardian for 3s, bash, SOTF, stonework, germination

Any other talent build is really going to hurt your healing output and mana pool

I think there is a mix up in the talent breakdown for Photosynthesis "Fantastic synergy with Vision of Unending Growth". Shouldn't it be with "The Dark Titan's Lesson" instead ?

Just wanted to let you know that the Flourish talent has a typo in it. Should be 60 yards below is how it is currently.

This guide contradicts itself. In the M+ talents, all of the "Required Talents" aren't even chosen in the suggested build. I would not recommended using these talent loadouts.

Its shocking how few Resto Druids talent Passing Seasons (reduce cd of Nature's Swiftness).
Macro Nature's Swiftness with Convoke, makes every regrowth heal 100% more its a game changer :)

whoever made this guide has not played the game recently. do not choose these talent builds for resto, NONE of them! keep using your old DF builds or check out murklok instead.

Even if players wanted to import these for raid builds(not that you should because they don't make much sense)...half of the Loadout codes are for preservation evokers. Great guide!

You can have all 3 if you drop master shapeshifter? And if you drop Spring Blossoms you lose shapeshifter anyway.

For raids, circle of healing is fine. However, resto druids need to stop going into haste and into circle of healing for 5 man content. You get plenty of haste from talents. They need to be going into crit/versa or crit/mastery because when resto druids have mana issues while healing it is because they're casting faster which also means they lose mana quicker. Also 5 man mythic dungeons require big heals, thus, why crit and hots on the party is needed. Circle of healing does not work in 5 man content if your group is not mostly melee.

So, after not playing my druid since season 3 Dragonflight, I have to admit, I noticed straight away that being in catform to dps in M+ is a nuisance, so I adapted the build myself to do DPS in normal form instead. I use the Keeper of the Grove Hero talents.

Here is my M+ build

So I deleted most of the catform talents and I've put them into the talents like Astral influence to increase the range of all my spells by 5 yards, improved Sunfire, Starlight Conduit, Starsurge, Improved Rejuvenation, Improved Barkskin, Verdant Heart and probably some more but like this it feels a lot better with survivability and mobility since you can use your spells from afar.

Every patch I read the talent builds and every time I ask myself if the author ever pugged a m+ dungeon. Do you think most people can cat weave? Would it be easier for the mass of players reading this guide to do damage while in human or cat form? Just ask yourself these questions and consider the audience reading it

I bet Keeper of the Groove is ok for m+ and doing dps in moonkin form not everyone doing 20+++ keys. I dont want to play resto druid in cat form or even is possible sometime with pug like wtf...

The loadout for Wildstalker delves should be changed, you want Circle of Wild not Circle of Heavens, after all in kitty you are doing physical damage.
