The offical calculators are broken man. Like the Shadow Priest one, even though one of the talents they have on there specifically mentions Mind Spike and Mind Blast, they are not in the spells list. Neither is Prayer of Healing and Disc doesn't get Renew? Totally broken.
In my opinion this looks very dissapointing. Shadow will be losing its majority of healing/utility spells and will in return get nothing really new. It's all just redisigned abilities that we already have. Shadow will also not only be losing the healing and utility spells, it will lose iconic abilities like Vampiric Embrace and so on. I can't really see why anyone would keep playing shadow when there's no uniqueness left in the spec. It looks pretty much like a dumbed down version of warlock with a major lack of spells. I am deeply dissapointed.
Look one post up: Where the Blues have admitted there are glitches to the trees.
wow blizz... yall sure worked hard on doing alot for priest. Thanks!
When I first read about the new talent system after Blizzcon my reaction was that I hated it. After seeing these new changes Blizzard has got my rep up to unfriendly. Speaking based upon what I have seen in the Druid tree I like the fact that we are forced to make some difficult choices between equally compelling options. For example, at the third tier all the healing option have both pluses and minus and none of them come across as obviously superior to the others. That's good. What isn't so good is the fact that we are now forced to take some options we don't want. For example, the final tier is all bear talents. As a healer I don't want any of them. In fact, out of the six tiers only two relate specifically to healing. So that means that my real choices are 2/6. That's not compelling. Moreover, as a healer it's underwhelming that my final tier choices have nothing to do with my spec. Maybe I'm just brain-washed from too many years of the old system but it just seems off to me that my final tier choice has nothing to do with my spec.My overall reaction is the same as it was before. I don't really understand why we have talents any more at all. The choices are so limited it seems to me that it would just be simpler to get rid of talent trees entirely at this stage.
I would have to agree that many of the spells look great. It's the talent tree that's awful, not the spells. But even considering the spells it might be good to look at the spells your class will lose in order to get the new spells you like so much. Will the new spell improve on the old spell? If not then how "good" is the newer version? Things may not be as they seem at first glance.
Paladin will get flashbang
Neat, they're bringing back the multiple judgement types.
They just stated rehashed abilities for warrior. Seasoned Soldier is a tweak from Two handed Weapon specialization.
I really hope they bring in some more cool warrior stuff, I'll probably get avatar but maybe they'll put in some more awesome warrior stuff! I think we should get like a super thunderclap that sends rock flying in multiple directions, or rushing through/jumping from target to target!
WOOOT arcane orb.. finally.. and it is aoe! <3 but... the mage talents... looks ... crappy... imo. look at locks' HP ON CAST, AOE HP ON CAST... your casts that give you hp based on damage done..... now also does AOE!.. Q_Q mages ='you can has two sheepz! but the 2nd sheep isdacrap ... you can have EITHER cone of cold, ring of frost, or deep freeze without the need to be frozed... instead of having cone of cold and ring of frost like you already do 'hoping for 'skip X tier to put an extra point in Y tier.' *gets dragons breath and blast wave... ignores sheepz*
It.Isn't.Final.That is all.
blinding light for pallies? AWESOME!
that's it for dks? srsly undead control? cmon blizz think of something better like i don't know have the ability to get 2 ghouls instead of 1?
