A weapon is the single largest spike in power you can find when upgrading your gear. Although there is a BiS polearm available from an early boss in the Voidspire (Inescapable Reach), you may not see it drop for a while. Consider this craft a "sure thing" that also takes care of one of your embellishments rather than relying on luck; maybe you'll see a drop before acquiring the four sparks for this item and can skip crafting it anyway!

This item features a unique embellishment effect that provides buffs based on your socketed gems. These effects include an Agility buff, a Critical Strike buff, and raw damage effects, all of which are strongly desirable to a Brewmaster. On top of this, its preset secondary stats of Critical Strike and Mastery are both desirable for damage or defense!

Craft Masterwork Sin'dorei Amulet with Stabilizing Gemstone Bandolier (remove weapon embellishment via Lucky Keychain) Explanation

There are a remarkable number of items in the neck slot that favor Haste this season, which is great for most specializations and terrible for a Brewmaster. Fortunately, you can get around this problem while also adding an embellishment that doubles the strength of your Loa Worshiper's Band: Stabilizing Gemstone Bandolier.

Depending on your current gear and desire for maximizing damage, you may wish to craft this piece with a Thalassian Missive of the Peerless rather than the default choice of Thalassian Missive of the Quickblade.

Craft Silvermoon Agent's Sneakers with Stabilizing Gemstone Bandolier Explanation

Provided you are raiding Mythic Sporefall and can obtain a Rotmire's Sporeheart, you will want to craft in a slot other than the neck to maintain maximum damage while gaining a useful defensive effect. To that end, you may craft in the boots, bracer, cape, or even legs slot; all are effectively the same for your overall power budget in bis gear. Remember to still add the embellishment that doubles the strength of your Loa Worshiper's Band: Stabilizing Gemstone Bandolier.

Depending on your current gear and desire for maximizing damage, you may wish to craft with a Thalassian Missive of the Peerless rather than the default choice of Thalassian Missive of the Quickblade.

(Optional, Mythic+) Craft Hexwoven StrandExplanation

This belt comes pre-crafted with a Brewmaster's favorite stats of Critical Strike and Versatility while also including a unique, built-in embellishment effect. Roughly twice per minute, you will apply a Nature DoT to your target that also attempts to spread up to 5 times with each tick. Naturally, this effect is only strongest in AoE or Mythic+ environments with plenty of enemies. Consider it an optional craft to wear when running keystones, removing the embellishment from your Masterwork Sin'dorei Amulet to do so.

Low-budget slot crafts (Boots/Ring/Cloak) with either Thalassian Missive of the Quickblade or Thalassian Missive of the Peerless. This can also include Engineering-crafted boots which allow one "open-world" embellishment such as Kinetic Ankle Primers and can be crafted with only a single secondary stat (eg: Flux Cogwheel)

Your strongest trinket of the season, though it will likely be in high demand. Next to a weapon, this will likely be your strongest possible upgrade that isn't strictly something high in item level.
As this item drops early in the raid and is a weapon type with low demand, you can acquire a bis piece that also allows you to skip crafting a weapon with your initial sparks!
Your other strongest trinket of the season, this item can also switch its bonus secondary between Critical Strike and Mastery depending on your current stat budget.
It never hurts to have an on-use defensive trinket available when you need some extra sturdiness, especially in progression!
This trinket currently does not split its damage per target, though only 1/10th of the tooltip value is dealt per second. This results in an incredible defensive (and even offensive) trinket for AoE if you are able to keep enemies within its puddle for the duration.
Outside of the tier helm, this is your only alternative option with appropriate secondary stats.
On top of its excellent stats, this item also has a small defensive bonus against the many sources of Shadow damage in Midnight.
While slightly weaker in single-target scenarios, this trinket's damage quickly scales up as you include more enemies for it to hit.

This trinket may have static Mastery, but its 2ppm chance to grant a ramping Agility buff with each ability cast more than outweighs this downside and makes it your second-best choice for all target counts if not interested in an on-use option; up to 15 stacks is achievable during each trigger.

When equipped, this trinket starts at 60 stacks of its Radiant Plume buff, losing one stack per second while in combat and immediately refreshing to the full 60 when reaching 0. If exiting combat while not at full stacks, you will then gain one stack per second until entering combat or reaching 60 again. This means it could be beneficial to stay in combat when the buff is low to force a full refresh.

Surprisingly, the Mastery variant of this trinket is better for an optimized Brewmaster. Fortunately, if you are in need of Critical Strike instead then the item may be activated outside of combat to switch to the Umbral Plume which features identical behavior.

Players who were around in Shadowlands may recognize this trinket, which is incredibly similar to the popular Blood-Spattered Scale of that time.

Like its namesake, this item offers a reliable on-demand absorb once every 2 minutes, while also dealing a potent amount of Shadow damage to nearby enemies. This damage can also critically strike, doubling both its amount and the size of the shield afterward.

It is your strongest defensive choice for the season.

When equipped, this trinket starts at 60 stacks of its Umbral Plume buff, losing one stack per second while in combat and immediately refreshing to the full 60 when reaching 0. If exiting combat while not at full stacks, you will then gain one stack per second until entering combat or reaching 60 again. This means it could be beneficial to stay in combat when the buff is low to force a full refresh.

While Critical Strike is often more desirable to a Brewmaster, you may also activate this trinket outside of combat to switch to the Radiant Plume which features identical behavior but instead provides Mastery.

Your most exceptional on-use trinket of the season, this item not only features static Agility, but also gains cooldown reduction and increased effect damage based on a Brewmaster's favorite stat of Critical Strike.

However, its effect is strictly limited to two targets, either being wasted on just one or not scaling any further at three or more. Despite this drawback, it remains competitive at all target counts while being the best choice at strictly 2-3 enemies.

An on-use offensive alternative, this trinket offers superior damage scaling as the number of enemies increases, but is slightly weaker in single-target than some options.

Due to dealing Physical damage, Shado-Pan players further buff this trinket with the Martial Precision passive.

This on-use trinket's strength depends on you being able to take advantage of the cleave effect as it travels to your target. Aim for the most distant enemy in a group, and even consider Rolling backwards to better line things up. When used well, it becomes one of your strongest choices in large pulls.

Due to dealing Physical damage, Shado-Pan players further buff this trinket with the Martial Precision passive.

Souls from this trinket will spawn roughly 3 times per minute, and appear within 5 yards of your character similar to a Healing Sphere from Gift of the Ox/Spirit of the Ox. While they must be manually picked up, their Agility buff is powerful for the item level, though each stack of the buff has its own separate 1-minute timer much like the Niuzao's Resolve talent.

The difficulty in finding these souls during the visual clutter of combat makes this trinket less useful than a simulation might imply.

The greatest strength of this trinket lies in its damage not being split per target hit. Although only 1/10th of the tooltip's damage is dealt per second, this still translates to an incredible amount of damage in larger pulls while also providing a large amount of on-demand healing every 90 seconds when you need it.

Seek it out as a strong choice for mythic+ especially.

Similar in behavior to the recent Ticking Sack of Terror trinket of previous seasons, this item's main advantage is in its 5ppm Volatile Phlegm Nature DoT having infinite duration. This means that even in AoE its effects are not wasted, as even one stack on an enemy is enough to trigger a bonus explosion on their death; this explosion is the same strength regardless of stack count.

This trinket is immediately available upon reaching Level 90, and can be further upgraded through weekly quests that award Uncontaminated Void Sample by upgrading the Research Console in the Voidstorm.

Once fully upgraded, this trinket's effects cause it to strongly overperform for its item level and allow it to compete with weaker Hero or even Myth track pieces. It will eventually be outclassed when you acquire higher-tier trinkets at relevant item levels, however.

While crafted Darkmoon Dominion trinkets quickly lose power as your item level increases due to their static value, they are uniquely enhanced in Midnight when worn with a crafted weapon using a matching Darkmoon Sigil embellishment (such as Darkmoon Sigil: Void).

This can result in better performance than you would otherwise expect, but still won't reach the heights of the best-in-slot options.

The ever-present Alchemist Stone trinket of every expansion is stronger than normal this time around. However, it counts as one of your two pieces of embellished gear, rendering it undesirable in spite of its potency.

This is a fairly simple trinket effect, providing 12 seconds of both a random secondary stat and bonus Leech roughly twice per minute. So long as you don't receive too many Haste buffs, this results in a useful passive option for both damage and defense. Note that you cannot upgrade it further with an Ascendant Voidcore.

Why aren't Darkmoon Trinkets listed in the Trinket list at all? Are they that bad? Or a glaring omission? Seems like the Boxes would make the list especially with the scaling sigils?

I have to disagree with some of your Brewmaster trinket placements Talisman of the Cragshaper and the Treemouth's Festering Splinter are easily deserving of A tier especially with their current strength. These two trinkets will allow for Brewmasters to push even higher keys and allow for larger pulls for their groups as these trinkets act as a much needed defensive. Placing these two trinkets at or below the same level as Whispering incarnate seems like a lack of understanding or information regarding their capabilities. Also think you are missing an important crafted piece of gear which is the Undulating Sporecloak that provides a solid passive heal while above 70% and when falling below 30% procs a shield equaling roughly 100+k allowing for much needed saves from surprise damage spikes. I find it extremely odd that you would place Lingering Sporepods as a C+ trinket when it belongs in F tier as this trinkets healing is horrid and its damage is laughable. Placing this trinket as a M+ BiS item is just disrespectful to players who are referencing this list for their BiS gear.

What about Writhing Heart of Darkness? If it works properly, it seems pretty good. Also, why is Xeri'tac's Unhatched Egg Sac bad? On fights like Volcoross having the additional health can really help with the jaws. The proc rate of the trinket is extremely high as well from what I have seen. Thanks.

how is Flaring Cowl not the go to crafted embellishment for this season with the fact we can have the fire damage ring again, I know we don't like Haste but at the same time this could be an excellent boost to our damage output

I know its not on the tank table, but I am surprised that Augury of the Primal Flame isn't on the trinket list. Even at maxed ilvl from heroic it is still doing almost 20% of my overall damage. Add in that it's fire damage if you couple that with the Seal of Diurna's Chosen it would do even more damage.

Can you explain why the boots "Footpads of Seeping Dread" would be considered BiS? I would think that if defensively crit=mas=vers, and offensively crit>mas>vers, then the real stat prioritization is crit>mas>vers. The boos from Skyreach crit/mas, instead of the seat boots which are vers/mas.
