Err, the bug was not that. It was that it would only count the reputations of the person in the guild with the most.

Damn glad they fixed it. My main was the person the previous version of the achievement was latched onto. Logged on today to see what we have the achievement now even though I had only 53 reps. I'm a bit sad that I didn't manage to finish it before they re-did it but it's better for my guild cause now they can buy the pet versus waiting another month until I managed to finish the rep grinds.

I am not sure it is fixed. For example, the Knights of Nevemore on Draenor ( a rather large guild ) have exalted with League of Arathor in the Classic Battles rep achievement, but not in United Nations.

The correct Worgen response to this puzzling state is "Wot's all this, then?"

This achievement is one of those that isn't hugely impressive but it keeps getting under my skin enough to want to get it for a variety of reasons. Anyway so I had 53 exalted between several characters pre-patch and with the bug it was only counting 49. Hearing that it'd be fixed...again...I ground out 2 more reps and awaited the patch. Little did I realize that since the contributions were raised to exalted with your guild the guild rep itself was taken off the list that counted so now I'm back down to 54 =(

Thinking Ravenholdt on my rogue sounds the least painful of the remaining ones...

To get credit for Bloodsail Buccaneers, do they have to gain it while in guild or be currently active? We have several members that have gotten it for a Cheevo and then gave it up.

My guild is one rep away from the achievement. I have oracles completed, but if i was to switch to frenzyheart to do the last rep required, would that unceck oracles or would it leave it since it is showing as being completed for that part of the achievement?

do you have to be currently exalted with a rep to count towards the total Ive just reached exalted with my guild and i already got exalted with Scryers and working on my Aldor rep now to get Hero achievement. Does someone have to be currently exalted with Scryers who's exalted with guild to count? How come its not counting mine?

For those who are, like me, a bit blind and confused - here's a short summary:

This achievement requires characters to be exalted with a) the guild and b) the factions.
The exalted reputation with a faction (say The Kalu'ak) will only count once. So only one person in the guild have to obtain the rep.
There are 63 factions on the list in total so not every rep has to be obtained.
It is as of patch Patch 4.0.3a no longer possible to gain rep with the Zandalar Tribe. It is now a feat of strength.
According to above posters, switching factions (for example, The Aldor --> The Scryers or Frenzyheart Tribe --> The Oracles) is suppose to count towards the achievement as the first faction "gets tagged" and counted. (Cannot confirm this myself just yet, though.)
If you have problems with your reputations not being registrered try relogging or just waiting for a few minutes.

I have also heard that it is only 1 person who contributes to United Nations, apparently this is what was told to by a GM in game to a Guild Master.

Seems silly if it is true since its supposed to be a GUILD achievement :P

You need to be exalted with 55 factions. There are 63 factions in the achievement

You can count, how many factions to get exalted with and list all possible factions you may be exalted with with this macro:

Note: This macro does not know about "opposite" factions like "Aldors vs. Scryers" or "Frenzyheart Tribe vs. Oracles" or about factions you can not become exalted with like "Zandalar Tribe". You have to think by yourself. I can not 'exclude' theese factions with macros from output because macro can be only 255 or less characters length

I am exalted with my guild and we have United Nations yet my personal exalts are not listed on there eg Ashen Verdict, I cannot get Dark Pheonix Hatchling, its locked for me what am I doing wrong?

You can get your 55 reps from now 71 possible reputations, up from 63, as the Mists Of Pandaria factions have been added.

These are;
Order of the Cloud Serpent
The Klaxxi
Shado-Pan
The August Celestials
Golden Lotus
The Lorewalkers
The Tillers
The Anglers

Posted this as, at the moment, Wowhead doesn't list them in the details above - I'm sure in time they'll appear.

I was confused when I got 55 Exalted Reputations but didn't get this. I thought that it's because I've got exalted guild rep, so I got even more confused when I ran macro given by FilimoniC and found out that we actually only have 53/71 reps.

You could deduce it from the list, but it was hard for me, so here I will give a list of those reputations which does count for your personal achievements, but doesn't for this one:
Reputation with the Guild (obviously)
Tushui Pandaren
Pearlfin Jinyu
Operation: Shieldwall

Besides don't forget that friendships like Nat Pagle, Nomi and all the individual Tiller fellas doesn't count for this and doesn't count for your individual achievement either. I am not sure about Bizmo's Brawlpub (Season 1) and The Black Prince but they surely doesn't count for this one.

So in addition to the 55 exalted reps (talk about grinding) you need to be a guild member? How is this fair to those of us who don't want to be in a guild but want to try the new characters?
