Nalorakk <Bear Avatar>
Zul'Aman Akil'zon (Eagle) Nalorakk (Bear) Jan'alai (Dragonhawk) Halazzi (Lynx) Hex Lord Malacrass Zul'jin Nalorakk, the Amani lord of bears, is one of the first animal bosses within Zul'Aman. He holds Tanzar captive in a cage near his platform, awaiting his sacrifice if the raid cannot rescue him before the timer runs out. Defeating Nalorakk with time remaining adds an additional 15 minutes to the timer and allows the raid to free Tanzar. He will, in turn, reward the raid with access to a small share of gold and unlock Tanzar's Trunk which will contain an epic armor if he was the first boss killed in the zone, or an epic weapon if he was killed second. Abilities Nalorakk has two forms, which he alternates throughout the fight. Each form has its own unique set of abilities. He enrages after 10 minutes. Troll form (Spell #42384): An attack that deals 28,500-31,500 Physical damage evenly spread out between two targets within an 8 yard frontal cone. This ability will deal full, undivided damage to a single player if there is no second target in range. (Spell #42389): Causes all bleed effects to do 100% additional damage for 60 seconds. (Spell #42402): Charges an enemy, knocking them back for 10 yards while doing 3,700 to 4,300 physical damage. Bear form (Spell #42395): Bleeds the target for 1735 physical damage every 2 seconds for 18 seconds. (Spell #42397): Deals 5,525 to 7,475 physical as well as bleeds the target for 2335 physical damage every 1 second for 5 seconds. (Spell #42398): Deals 1235 to 1365 physical damage and silences enemies for 2 seconds to all targets within a 50 yard range. Tips You will need two tanks for this encounter. The tanks must share the damage of brutal swipe. The tanks must switch when Nalorakk switches forms. This prevents a tank from taking extra bleed damage due to mangle. He is tauntable, making tank transitions simple. Nalorakk does not deal crushing blows, so a feral druid may tank the encounter without added risk. Ensure the tank in bear form is topped off at all times. If the tank gets hit with both bleeds while the healers are silenced, a tank could lose health very quickly. Be sure to keep heal over time spells active on the bear form tank to help deal with the silence. Bleed effects may be removed by (Spell #1020), (Spell #45438), (Spell #20594), or (Spell #10278). Mages may use (Spell #33946) to assist healing as there is no spell damage involved.
