Rocket Chicken
In a remarkable deviation from cultural norms, the goblins of The Black Flame have adopted chicken related technology and adapted it to their own purposes. Being goblins, they have taken an existing model and improved it in, to goblins, the best way possible: by attaching two whopping great rockets to it and calling it a day. The Rocket Chicken is a reward from a Loot card in the World of Warcraft Trading Card Game. The Trading Card Game's sets each include three possible Loot cards which are printed with redemption codes for in-game items. The Rocket Chicken is found in the fourth set: March of the Legion. The Rocket Chicken is a non combat pet, summonable as normal for such items. It greatly resembles the Mechanical Chicken and Gnomish Battle Chicken model, with the addition of two goblin-made rockets (complete with smiley faces), one on either side. The Rocket Chicken's idle animations are particularly noteworthy. The more common of the two possible is a "hover" move whereby the chicken's rockets will rotate downward and fire under low power for several seconds, lifting the chicken in the air. The chicken cannot move while under vertical thrust, and will remain in place if the character moves away. The chicken will quickly catch up to the player when the "hover" animation is complete. The rarer (with good reason) idle animation is a more concentrated blast of rocket thrust. It begins very similarly to the first, but things get rapidly out of hand (beak?). The rockets hit full thrust, the chicken clucks in consternation, and then launches into the air, exploding about two years above the player's head in a cloud of feathers. The Rocket Chicken can be summoned again after this explosion, and will need to be.
