My Dwarf makes this for the engineers for the guild. As long as your engineering skill is 265 you can use it. The timer is 30 min reuse time on it and its the same as the regular jumpers. except the differances is that this jumper has a better sucess rate than the other...

out of 100 uses it has failed 7 times...

When you get to a high eneough engineering lvl then you have to choose wether you are going to become a Goblin Engineer (One who focuses on Goblin based tech you do NOT have to be a Goblin) or a Gnome Engineer (one who focuses of Gnome Based Tech you do NOT have to be a Gnome). People from one branch can use stuff from the other branch however you can not repair or reload something from the other branch when it breaks/runsout of ammo.

I hope that this has cleared things up for everyone who was to lazy to JUST GO CHECK THE ENGINEERING GUIDE!

I was a lvl 300 Dragonscale Leatherworker and dropped it just to learn this, (and the Field Repair Bot as a side.) As a hunter (or a rogue) I would highly recommend that you consider dumping whatever skill you can to learn this. When you start playing Tier 0 instances and especially when you start the endgame instances you will find yourself standing there alone (or with the rogue) as you wait for the rest of the raid to run back to the instance after a wipe. Get this and all those "60 Hunter LFG - anything" will make you a comodity rather than a liability.

Any engineer can make these or learn the skill, goblin or gnome, It's the goblin skills or gnome skills that require training from a profession trainer that discriminate on what you can learn. If you get a schematic engineering drop for any item you can learn it as long as you are an engineer.

As was stated, this is on the goblin tree - but it doesnt say goblin engineering to *use*. Being a goblin engineer on this char, I cant say 100%, but 99.99% sure either side can use as long as their engineering skill is 265. So just have your goblin engineer friend make em for you.

I'm very tempted to take up engineering mainly for these and repair bots (two excuses for so many PUGs collapsing), but basically it gives you a less than 50% chance of resing the healer after they pull agro and die.

3 questions:

1) can you carry more than one, and if so do they share a cooldown?
2) does this cooldown (like some other trinkets) start when you equip it (meaning you have to ditch one of your other trinkets and wear it from the start)
3) is the success chance at all affected by your skill level?
