Best in Slot Gear for Enhancement Shaman DPS in Pre-Patch
Unfortunately, Enhancement

Tier 6 set is not very good, outside of the three pieces you can get from

, which makes skipping the 4-piece bonus a strong option. Regardless, using
碎天者戰馭肩鎧
in order to get the 4-set in a much easier way than having to loot Eredar Twins shoulders is also a very competitive option.
Doing Arena PvP is very valuable for the gladiator weapons, which are among the best in slot options, and even the much easier to get old season weapons are very competitive, so make sure to prioritize farming them if you still need weapons!
Spellhance
is all about using a spell power weapon (ideally as a mid-fight swap possibility) to maximize your AoE damage as
火焰新星
and
閃電鏈
scale with Spell Power instead of traditional melee stats (AP does convert to SP with

, but only at a 30% rate).
You will easily top AoE damage with this sort of setup
, especially if mobs die too fast for dot classes and seed which have more ramp time requirements, making you look pretty good on overall damage done! It is also very competitive on single target until the later tiers, making Spell Power weapons favorable early on, especially as there are a few slow caster weapons perfect for Spellhance such as

In the Wrath pre-patch, 12.62 Hit Rating converts into 1% Spell Hit at level 70. Unfortunately,

give Spell Hit, thus the cap is 17% Spell Hit from gear alone, which can be reduced to 14% (or 13% if you also have

. Thus, the exact amount of Spell Hit you want from your gear depends on the content you are optimizing for, and your faction. As a Horde player in a raid, you will need 12.62 * 14 = 176.68 rating in order to cap Spell Hit, for example.
For
Wrath leveling
, remember that regular mobs near your level are much easier to hit (as a raid boss is considered a max level + 3 enemy) and thus you can drop a ton of Hit for other useful stats and still never miss.

made with as many TBCC Sunwell phase BiS pieces as possible, in order to help you optimize your TBCC gear for the pre-patch changes
. This setup still maximizes gem socket bonuses while keeping the meta active and hitting the 17% Spell Hit cap and 26 Expertise cap.

This is the old setup before Spellhance and the focus on Spell Damage took center stage with the Wrath of the Lich King Enhancement changes. While it is still a viable way to gear, especially for single target, it loses to Spell Damage oriented gearing hard on any AoE scenario, such as Wrath leveling or trash encounters.

are unique to head slot pieces and accept meta gems (instead of regular gems). Only a single meta socket may exist in any given piece, and many pieces come without a meta socket at all.

The guide is not clear on feet enchant. In the character sheet, it says Cat's Swiftness, but in the list lower down, it says BiS is Surefooted. Which is it?
