When you take into consideration the armor value this beast has, this would make a good offtank bear item. The lack of stamina keeps it from excelling as a true tanking piece, but the absorb would allow a kitty to shift out to bear and managably off tank while the MT gets a battle rez.

its a very very good dps chestpiece

any fight that doesnt require you to have much stam this would be better to have on just for the higher dps output on this

This chest piece is easily equal to Bloodsea Brigand's Vest wich is just as good as T5. So get this if you dont raid T5 content yet.

True, there are better epic chests, but it's better than Tunic of Assassination IMHO. Only chest with pure DPS, no stamina, so it'll have the best DPS out there short of Deathmantle Chestguard.

Drops from Doomwalker, a world boss just outside of the black temple in shadowmoon valley.

The only chest that's better then this right now is Bloodsea Brigand's Vest (Off of Fathom-Lord Karathress from SSC) But not by even that much.

you are fools if you don't see how overpowered this is. using only rare gems this chest can grant over 2% crit chance while still granting 1.3% hit and nearly 100ap. yes it lacks stats, but you show me a raiding rogue who's dependent on stam and i'll show you an uninvite.

8 hit, 8 hit & a 8 agi makes this baby a devil. Lack of stamina? You don't need it on each of your gear. At this point of the game you'll anyways have 8k hp unbuffed.

Great chest for pure DPS, as with sockets you can get a heavy amount of Crit / AP / Hit, and thus makin up for eventual Stam/Agi losses.

- Sure everyone needs stamina, even rogues and healers. GL downing just 2nd boss in Zul'Aman with 5k hp... But You should have just enough from other gear, so the chest wouldn't mind this much¨

Note: Every PVE chest sux for pvp, if it then got 200 stam. Ever heard of Resilience? :) Tho I've been against alot of pve rogues that can beat "Less-well" geared PvP'ers (e.g. veteran and 1-2 gladi) cuz of so uber dps... But well, ^&*! happends

I currently have Chestguard of the Conniver that drops off Nightbane in KZ and I must say I think this chest is better. With the Sockets you can add +16 to hit alone in the yellow sockets and then +16 AP in the red. That is almost +40 to hit in this piece alone which for a Rogue is HUGE! The AP is no slouch either if you use the right Gem.. and AP is the second most important stat to a Rogue for PVE.

Overall I would take this over the NB drop. T4 or T5 is completely seperate and should not be compared as the set bonuses can make a huge difference depending on how your specc'd. It would be like comparing Apples to Yugos.
