Most major addons are also available to be updated through Wowup. Addon authors are either uploading them on services that aren't controlled by Overwolf (e.g. Wago.io, WowupHub, WowInterface) or have configured their GitHub repositories to work with Wowup and other addon installers! For details, check out the Wowup Discord and their website. :^)https://wowup.io/https://discord.com/invite/rk4F5aD
the Curseforge app doesn't seem to work at all. the WOTLK classic is pointed to classic beta, while the classic is still labled BCC
Last I checkd both wowup and curseforge clients don't properly detect BCC has migrated to wrath yet, so they only install TBC addons and not wrath ones.until the two top updaters are updated, i imagine most users will be on out of date addons. Hopefully both apps get an update soon so users can get right mods
Over on the CurseForged discord server they said that it would take a few days to roll out an updated client that grabs wotlk 3.4.0 addons. It really sounded like they didn't start working on it until the tuesday maintenance was finished. Pretty odd considering we had known the release date of pre-patch for several weeks.
I install addons in BCC in my curseforge, and they are working on the WoTLK wow game version. No need to instal manually.
Wasn't working for me an hour ago. Using curseforge standalone. Had to use a workaround.
