As someone mentioned, WotLK was the end of a golden era for the franchise, and to see the modernized systems crop up again after being railroaded into it is going to be a terrible mistake.Comment by VephI don't mind if they proceed into Cata Classic, but I am BEGGING them to once again give us an option of "freezing" our characters on a Wrath version of the server if we want to. For me the largest appeal of having Classic is to go back into an era of the game we can't access anymore, because Cata changed the zones forever. I don't personally plan on moving forward to Cata+ because there's not really as much point for me.

They didn't give us the option to freeze ourselves in TBC which is the only reason I'm a little concerned, but I'd like to hope they're smart enough to realize Wrath was the peak of the game for many people and progressing past it forever changes the look and feel of the world. Every Cata hater can NEVER state why they hate it, except for LFR (introduced in 4.3)

Take out LFR, put back in 5v5 arena maybe and expansion is a banger.Comment by PurgatorywolfThese surveys should just go out in mass to all active subs. they will never get an accurate reading of "what people want" until they survey everyone, or at least give everyone the opportunity to do it.
