No matter what you're goign to spec, you must have this talent it gives you that extra bit of range to start firing before your enemy does. And keeps you at a safer distance from those damned Raid Bosses, too, great 1st tier talent, great to pick up savage strikes with it if you're going for a PvP build.

I agree 100% it is another well spent 6 yards doesnt seem like much, but it helps when your not "in range" of others.

If you play a hunter long enough, you get a feel for your maximum range. If you ever get this talent it's hard to play without it.

This talent is also very effective for competing for mobs at highly populated zones. Especially in those daily areas where players are packed and respawn rates are low, you can tag mobs quicker than, say warrior.

In PvP, this talent is godsend, every hunter PvP'ing should take this one. Allowing you to put warriors into combat before they charge, much easier time kiting melee classes. You can even kite ranged classes by staying on max range.

I just don't see why it's in Survival. It's focused on your ranged attacks, should be Marksman in my opinion.

Well right now I'm debating on whether or not to get this as Beast Mastery. I've specced to let my pet do all the work (PvE) and sometimes I am out of Range for Mend Pet.

this makes your range of attack 41 yards. If you see a caster running towards you, start backpedaling while you send your pet in. This makes the distance between you decrease by 50% (100-50) instead of 200% (100+100). hit them with concussive shot ASAP, and start firing off your instant casts. the distance between you will not change, as you're moonwalking away at 50%, and they're running forwards at 50%. Your pet gets some extra time to chew face, and you can use all your instant spells. You will remain outside their spell range, as the max range for any caster is 36 yards. If the concussive wears off, you can turn 90 degrees and strafe, continuing to fire off your instant cast attacks, while remaining outside their spell range. This strategy works especially well with BM.

Try this out a couple times before downranking me, seriously. It is a proven noob slayer.

Can I get confirmation that this works with kill shot? I know in all common sense that it should, however I can't quite convince myself that Blizzard would allow a 51-yard execute. In addition to that, someone who has the kill shot glyph could fire one off every 9 seconds...talk about sniping, geez.

Gives you that extra bit of a comfort zone to stay out of MC mobs AEs. I couldn't go to MC without this.

Yea casters can.

Mages can get +6 range on all fire moves, going up to 41. Most are 35, so thats 1 hard dif.
Locks have 35-30 range on most abilities... but still this is fun for PvE/PvP
