The Scourge Converters are in the area of the previous quest at 50,40 while the Scourge Banner-Bearers and Converted Heroes are at 40,50.

Quest description:

Thassarian, aboard the Skybreaker, wants you to kill 5 Scourge Banner-Bearers, 5 Scourge Converters, and 20 Converted Heroes.

The quest actually needs you to kill 20 Converters and 5 Heroes, which is pretty annoying since there are far less Converters than Converted Heroes around.

Note that the converted heroes appear to be immune to snare effects, at least frost nova, my mage learned that the hard way when I tried to aoe a pack of them

The Scourge Converters, unlike most undead, are fearable (warlock fear anyway). The mobs are not hard, but their frostbolt causes a movement slowing effect which is annoying. Fearing them minimizes the number of times you have to suffer through the slow debuff. In theory, anyway. >.<

Doown and Viper007Bond, I don't know where you were looking, but my quest shows the above, and that's exactly what I had to kill. I don't know why you keep saying 5 heroes and 20 converters, because that's wrong.

I died several times till I figured out you can pull the converted heroes one at a time

as a warlock, it is very easy.. summon blueberry.. pull 7 or so, let it get agro, seed like crazy.. they all die.

You'll find the Scourage Converter's at 47.52, if you do not have coordinates in the area to the west of the bridge that leads to Aldur'thar.

You will find the Scourage Banner-Bearer and the Converted Hero's at 45.50 and for the players without coordinates, South-west of were you found the Scourage Converter's between the bridge that leads no where and the mountain range that surrounds Ymirheim.

Tip: Hunter's etc. with pets, I'd suggest setting them to Passive when you're taking on the Converted Hero's. They walk around in groups but don't aggro if you pull them away from the group to kill them. If you're to worried about aggroing the group you can always run around killing the ones by themselves.

Tip: The Converted Hero's can not be stopped using Freezing Trap, but the Scourage Converter's and Scourage Banner-Bearer's can be.

this quest blows...

the 20 converted heroes cannot be rooted or snared - have around 12K Hp, and if you are so lucky as to pull of the chain-gangs of them... they'll pummel you

boring and slow quest - not worth the time

I cant belive that nobody mentioned buff that Converted Heroes recive from Scourge Banner-Bearers when theyre near of them.

First,go to 49.8,40.0 and kill five Scourge Converters.

Second,go to 40,50 and don't kill first Banner-Bearer and then Converted Heroes.They're connected.If u try to kill Heroes first they will have buff from Banner-Bearers that increases theyre damage done by 20% and speed attack by 10%.Kill one Banner-Bearer and then all near Heroes.

Some heroes are alone,and some are with group counting around 8 mobs.Don't try to kill them in group,especialy not AOE,because they can be pulled solo.You will find that way is much easier.

When you finish quest,return to Thassarian.Hope this helps.

I'm guessing this more or less goes without saying, but go ahead and stack this with A Valiant's Field Training, if you're working on the Argent Tournament. May as well stack the two together.

Don't pull the chain gangs of Converted Heroes, they hurt a lot.

Descrizione

In the Valley of Fallen Heroes and Icecrown Glacier, to the west of Aldur'thar, the Scourge seeks to use the fallen against us. Scourge lieutenants have woken the valley's dead and imbued them with fearsome strength and fervor. The banners carried by the Scourge leaders in the glacier area are the source of these powers. Kill the banner-bearers, and you will weaken the converted heroes they lead.

It falls to you to rid us of this obstacle, and test the resistance before the main body can advance.
