This seems like the deathknight version of the cenarion circle for Druids (not cenarion expedition, which, though they are druids, are largely available to all classes, while the circle, is geared to the druids, even though there are many non-druid quests in Silthus given by them)

Other classes can grind rep with the Ebon Blade. Tested and Proven,my Druid is almost Friendly with them.

Complete the questline to unlock The Shadow Vault Outpost in Icecrown Glacier (For those who do not know,the quest is recieved from Thassarian on the Skybreaker and the Horde version is given by Koltira Deathweaver atop Orgrim's Hammer).

Like Kayinu said,a Quartermaster will appear inside the building when The Shadow Vault is Unlocked.

What exactly did you grind to get to the friendly mark i have been running all around northrend killing stuff and nothing gaind reputation for them unless i missed something or it is mobs in EPL .

Definitely seems like a good rep to grind for hunters, at least until Revered. Good 2h sword, shoulders, head enchant, and quiver pattern if you're a LW, all for Revered rep.

In all honesty this is a very nice starting off ret paladin weapon. The stats are wonderful for a ret paladin who needs a weapon going into naxx. I suggest a rep grind with this faction, the enchant is also nice. Plus for me as JC that design is another worthwhile grind. Paladins might want to look into a rep grind with this faction. Ret at least.

I have completed all the quests on the Skybreaker and at the Shadow Vault but still haven't gotten the quest that sends me to Death's Rise. Seeing how most of the quests are a chain, whether or not they are directly related, I think there is some piece I am missing. Are there any questgivers that are off the beaten path I might have missed?

There are four factions in WOTLK that you can gain rep with from wearing their tabard (purchased from the faction's quartermaster at friendly reputation) while doing level 80 instances. All the four factions have a few epic rewards, a bunch of blue ones, and two types of head enchants - one with resistance/stamina and one with stats (listed below). These four factions are as follows:

Kirin Tor - Spelldmg/Crit
The Wyrmrest Accord - Spelldmg/mp5
Knights of the Ebon Blade - AP/Crit
The Argent Crusade - Stam/Def

Getting quite frustrated, 134/140 in achievement and these guys arent giving me any dailies yet. I have done the quest line to get access to phased zone in Shadow Vault.

So could someone tell me exactly which quests needs to be done in order to be able to do dailies?

after you have unlocked shadow vault and dont all of the vrykul quests up to valhalas u get vile like fire and shoot em up, all others come from koltira deathweaver on orgrims hammer or thassarian(i think) on skybreaker after many quests for them before.

Just incase anyone spent ages trying to figure out how to open up the last 50 odd quests for this faction (as alliance), when you complete the "The Final Challenge" quests there is no more quests available from any of the Ebon Blade npcs. You must complete the Argent Crusade quests at Argent Vanguard, leading up to the quest The Skybreaker. After handing this quest Thassarian will open up a new quest chain.
Spent ages trying to find more quests to grind my rep! So Hope this helps people doing the same.

This is one of five different factions which which you can gain reputation by killing things in level 80 dungeons. They all have solo daily quests that award substantial reputation...except for the Kirin Tor, which has only a small amount of solo repeatable reputation, and only if you have the trade skill.

As such, if you want reputation with the Kirin Tor, you should always wear its tabard when in a level 80 dungeon. The other reps...you can get without needing to put together a group.

Kirin Tor: 150 rep/day for cooking + 25 rep/day for jewelcrafting
Wyrmrest Accord: 750 rep/day (Dragonblight and Borean Tundra dailies)
Argent Crusade: 1100 rep/day with Icecrown and Zul'Drak dailies
Alliance Vanguard / Horde Expedition: 1163 / 1375 rep/day with Icecrown and Grizzly Hills dailies (includes 50% of the rep you get from the Valiance Expedition / Warsong Offensive daily quests)
Knights of the Ebon Blade: 1500 rep/day with Icecrown dailies, plus 10 rep repeatable non-daily

Due east of the Fleshworks, up on a mountain ridge, there are a couple of Death Knights that give quests as well. Darkrider Arly is one of them.

Great faction to become exalted with as a rogue, along with , there is also a great head inscription, https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=44149 which should help any new lvl 80 rogues with a good start for raids.

Death Knights start out Friendly with the Knights of the Ebon Blade. It looks like they are going to get a slight head start over the rest of us in Northrend. Happy rep farming!

Shouldn't be hard to calculate with a calculator. Besides this has been so far, for me at least, the easiest faction of the main ones to get rep with thanks to the sheer number of dailies that give ebon blade rep.

I agree on this. Out of the four 'tabard factions' in WotLK Knights of the Ebon Blade is by far the easiest faction to gain reputation with due to the six dailies available.

To make finding the quests I needed to pick up easier, I did a little filtering:

Sorted by Database > Quests > Northrend
-Increases reputation with... Knights of the Ebon Blade
--and then sorted by required level so I know when I can pick up each quest as I level.

These guys are a grouchy lot =/. Clicking on many of the npcs will result in them yelling at you and being very pessimistic.

After the launch of patch 3.1 you can also gain Ebon Blade reputation by doing dailies at the Argent tournament. These dailies are locked up after completing the quest chain to become Champion of your faction.

OK so last night I was trying to figure out how to get more Ebon Blade quests in Icecrown because I had only done a few and want the rep. So I'm flying around between the Shadow Vault, Deaths Rise etc trying to find quests, but nobody was offering any.

I couldn't remember the last one I had done so I checked through the list and I believe Ive found where I left off. The quest where you go and read the decree to Thane Ufrang the Mighty (http://www.wowwiki.com/Quest:Shadow_Vault_Decree) well I don't think I spoke to the chained up dude.

My question is: If I have done the quest above without speaking to the chained up dude, will he still be visible when I go back into the room? I cant find anything else that I might have missed so it must be this quest chain. I am honored with them already from instances+tabard but I have never had a single quest from Deaths Rise.

Was flying round for friggin hours last night :(

This is for those mystified about how to unlock the Ebon Blades line of Dailies (there is a total of 6 you can do). You need to enter Ufrangs Hall and at the very back you will find Vaelen the Flayed half-naked dreanei DK chained to the wall (41.0, 23.9). He gives you the quest Get the Key which drops from the named circling outside the hall, Instructor Hroegar. Just loot the key after the kill and once freed Vaelen sends you back to the Shadow Vault to meet up with Baron Silver. This leads to a small series of quests that will eventually unlock the whole Ebon Blade daily quest line.

You get 13g 27s (not 100% dure about the silver) from Vile like fire, Shoot em up and Leave our mark from the Shadow Vault Dailys (at level 80)

Just a heads up for anyone who is getting a faction change, you will have to redo the quest line in order to become phased with this faction.

If you get a character to Friendly-Exalted with Knights of the Ebon Blade and then receive a faction change-
You will not lose any reputation with the faction, however you will need to complete the following quests again:

It's All Fun and Games (Horde) or It's All Fun and Games (Alliance)
I Have an Idea, But First...
Free Your Mind

If He Cannot Be Turned (Horde) or If He Cannot Be turned (Alliance)

The Shadow Vault (Horde) or The Shadow Vault (Alliance)
