As a point of interest, the quest giver - Tirion Fordring - is probably the single NPC in WoW that values honor the most. Looking back in his history, we can see that he lost wife, child, lordship, castle, and his good name, in order to keep his honor, saving the life of an orc.

Honor uber alles.

EDIT: And here are some quotes that imply his high value of honor:

"I will remain committed to the Alliance until my dying day. Of that, have no doubt. But I cannot disavow the oath I took. To do so would be to betray everything I am and everything we, as honorable men, hold dear."

... — few people would have selflessly lent assistance to an old and forgotten hermit.

It was with that thought that Taelan threw down the standard of the Order and renounced all that he had known. His honor left upon the blood soaked ground of Northdale.
You must travel to Northdale and recover that symbol of lost honor.

Interestingly, this quest gives + 10 Alliance Vanguard rep, despite the giver and ender both being Argent Crusade faction.

This quest is really !@#$ing me off, i have no idea where to get the quest from. Tirion is currently at 80, 72 on my map and he has no quests to give out. Can somebody tell me what i need to do?

1) Shadow Vault quest chain (starts with a breadcrumb quest Preparations for War),
2) Argent Vanguard and Crusaders' Pinnacle quest chain (starts with a breadcrumb quest Preparations for War),
3) Orgrim's Hammer quest chain (starts with Orgrim's Hammer as a side-quest form the Crusaders' Pinnacle quest chain),
4) Citadel footsteps quest chain (starts with Blackwatch as a side-quest form the Shadow Vault quest chain and Opportunity as a side-quest form the Orgrim's Hammer quest chain).
