I have had this on my 29 twink for some time. it has a decent proc rate, like 1/5 but as a rogue it hits alot and can realy help. in all my days with it i have seen it crit only 1 time.

"critline - 'LIFESTEALING CRITS FOR 120' "

confirmed it can crit, and for sure it can be resisted since its dealed with shadow damage.

mats are fairly easy to get and is a must have for a lvl 19 twink since the 30 life it steals per proc is a vital changing point in a 1v1 battle.

I have a Lvl 29 Rogue With 2 LifeStealing Enchants (Proc's are 50-150 healing) These are godly as a Hybrid rogue.

Its not a bad combo but Im thinking of going Crusader / LifeStealing.

Duel Wheild Life stealing Is Awsome Because I crit On each weapon about 5-10 times in a row for 75-125.

Im making a twink 19 orc warrior. I have Night Reaver (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=1318). Would this be a viable enchant for it? Would the +1-5 shadow dmg on Night Reaver affect the amount it heals?

EDIT: Enchanted procs now work while shapeshifted. They did not in BC or classic.

~~Lifestealing will NOT proc while shapeshifted. Ferals may want to consider 35 agility (or 25 agility for twinks).~~

Yeah... I got this twink (level 13 atm) and I was planning to put lifestealing on Wingblade speed 2.20.

I was also planning to get +20 haste rating on my gear ( worked out how ) which is meant to increase attack speed by 9.4%.

Is the proc rate of Lifestealing based on the original weapon speed or the attack speed (which is worked out with altering effects)?

I haven't legitamately tested this but i have seen 3 (+30 HP LIfestealing)'s in SCT

one right after another leading me to believe that if it procs on a WF hit that it will

proc for each hit, but don't hold me to it.

-For Rogues-

For low level twinks I wouldn’t recommend this, as other enchants offer higher bonuses ~~(ever see the level 10 rogue solo VanCleef, since a few dozen Agi at such a low level gave him a 100% dodge chance?)~~.

However, as a mid-range rogue I would highly recommend Lifestealing, especially if your Combat Swords:

Off-Hand: Vanquisher’s Sword (A) / Sword of Omen (H) (or whatever, but a sword)
Main Hand: Thrash Blade (much love to the chance on hit: hit again)

Pop a Lifestealing on both (common, the mats are cheap and easy to grind).

If your combat swords, what do you have on your team:

Imp Slice & Dice: +40% attack speed lasting 50% longer.

Lightning Reflexes: Flat 6% attack speed increase.

Precision: hit +6% (need to hit to proc)

Blade Flurry: x2 targets hit.

Sword Spec: Chance on hit, hit again.

Adrenaline Rush / Combat Potency: Lots of energy restore for instant attacks.

The proc rate of Lifestealing is built in to change based on your weapons speed, the slower the weapon, the higher the proc. It can proc off of non-white (or auto) attacks such as Sinister Strike. Your main hand has chance on hit, attack again. Every attack has chance on hit, attack again. Your primary skills involve either greatly improving your weapons speed, or gaining back a lot of energy to use your instant attacks, all of which leads back to chance on hit, attack again.

The Combat Swords spec can deal some impressive damage, and while Lifestealing won’t hold up end-game, snagging it mid-range will offer lots of procs, deal less damage than something like Fiery, but heals you every hit in the process.

This does proc on windfury hits. I only have 1 of my shammy's maces enchanted with it, and with the help of scrolling combat text I saw that it proc'd 3 times off of one hit. So it got the proc from the initial hit and then from the 2 you get from windfury.

i recomend you do not get this the proc rate for 29 twinks blows. i have it and its useless, :( wasted like 60g on this :( better off with something else

Weapon Chance-on-hit procs now work in any form for druids. What a major boost! Just used my main to enchant lifestealing on my level 23 feral druid, bear form, swipe has unlimited targets, i'm tanking usually 10-12 mobs at a time. Leveling like crazy. I love you Blizzard!

it is better to have this on a moderate speed main hand weapon as a 19 rogue twink since sinister strike uses the main hand weapon which if you had Lifestealing on Cruel Barb you would have a 22%chance to proc the enchant. that is great seeing how Lifestealing can crit (from what Rashaa said) idk if it acts with your spell crit rating or melee crit rating or maybe it has its own crit rating but it is still good to have on something like cruelbarb

Proc per hit varies with weapon speed, although proc per minute remains constant.
It's true for all proc-type weapon enchants.

Does anybody know the ppm for this enchant?

Actually it matters witch Weapon u put this Enchant on (atleast for Rouges) If u just do autohits it wouldent be a diffrence
BUT if u use Sinister Strikes (witch is only i MH hit) it proc more often then your OH hits would

Slapped this enchant on my heirloom dagger, since there wasn't any 15 agility.
It works nice for my rogue, but hopefully later on I will find a 15 agility.
