In 10 man:

He does a small aoe and does a decimate every ~45 sec similar to Gluth in Naxx. Every time interval (or hp %), he summons skeletons like Gluth. These skeletons should either be kited or aoed down since they hurt in groups. They do not heal Precious.

Edit: Like Stinky, he also does a stacking healing debuff on the tank so it should be taunted.

Beware - tanking either doggie in the doorway or on the platform OUTSIDE their patrol will aggro the other. Seems they have a specially large aggro range for one another.

The damage each dog does to their target is very negligible so we waited until the decimate to taunt. The skeletons happen pretty much constantly and do not obey the decimate timer. You get limited time to bring each wave down. Their damage is small so no need to dedicate a tank to them. Just grab what you can and go to town, grouped on the boss' tail end.

This miniboss is effectively a mini version of Gluth from Naxx.

Also Immune to Shackle Undead.

Precious can be a shock if you pull "her" first-- It does a very quick Moral Strike, stacking quickly. The zombies are summoned each time the doggy does a howl, spawning in a circle around Precious. Tanks taunt Precious around every five stacks of Mortal Strike. Our group killed it by kiting her around the stairs in a circle, constantly moving backwards. This way, the zombies who shamble behind slowly will be following the raid. After the hound is dead, the zombies will not despawn keep kiting - using snares, paladin Holy Wrath, etc. Zombies will place a stacking debuff on any raid members they strike. Each zombie gives 2 rep per kill (this was in 10 man) and Precious herself gives a good chunk of rep as well (can't remember the actual number).

Best way to down precious:
All raid stacks on tanks while a dk armies. If there is another dk in raid, it is recommended they also pop army of the dead before the first army stops. During the entire fight, everyone will constantly aoe. We found that a bloodlust will help bring her down faster but was not necessary.

Mortal Wound; lasts 15 sec, stacks 10 times. Will normally be cast on tank, so see to that you switch your two tanks every 30 sec.

Precious drops a green item, Precious' Ribbon, a pink shirt that gives you a buff "Best in Show". Doesn't seem to do anything but being a nice novelty item.

Precious appears to have a crit chance in excess of at least 6%; both our paladin tank and myself, a druid, were crit by it.

I have noticed that too, and with Stinky too
I haven't seen any debuff that lowers defense or buff that gives it +X% crit.
So it must have base crit above normal.

We had a little trouble on this doggie, 2 wipes before we tried Gluth tactic:

Get 3rd offspec tank to help out with Precious
Get AoE tank to pick up all the adds
Nuke precious down (heroism quite useful at this point, CD should be off by time you get to first boss)
Finish off adds

The death quote after Precious dies is just epic. You might want to turn your sound off, else your raid will have a heart attack from the sudden laughing.

The summoned Plagued Zombies stack Infected Wounds on their target just like those of Gluth from Naxxramas. Does minimal damage, unless they are all targeted on one raid member.

When we killed Precious for the first time and heard Rotface's emote I said over vent, "Wow...we just killed Majin Buu's dog." Got quite a few chuckles out of it and then I realized, "Wow...Rotface really DOES sound and act just like Majin Buu."

Oh yeah, and the ribbon that Precious wears...this one http://www.wowhead.com/?item=52019? It can drop as a wearable shirt...a nice bright pink shirt :D

In fact, Icecrown trash pulls have more health than Naxxramas bosses.

A quick and easy advice for tanks: kite him.

You can pull him on the circular stairs and kite him all along the circle, switching tank when needed.
This way, the summoned adds will be always following tank (especially if you have a tankadin with Consecration and Holy Wrath), BUT, being slower than you, they won't hit tanks or group.

The rest is trivial, believe me.

Solo'd by a bored blood dk. Clear the Valks flying around, and the trash in the plague area. After that pull the boss to the giant circle room, and just throw outbreak and deathstrike on him. He'll stop to summon zombies keep running and the healing debuff will fall off. Your Death Strike shield is more powerful than his melee attacks so even when he decimates, you stay at the same health. I spent the entire battle at around 31k health with no danger of dying. Once he's dead you can heal up and kill the zombies for rep, or just keep running until they vanish. I had quite the zombie trail when I was done. No ribbon though.

I can confirm after farming 大寶的緞帶 the Respawn from Precious is exactly 2 Hours,
when you are farming like me!

I was alone, without a Group, i steal with my Rogue into his Passageway kill him and wait.
You can do that the entire ID! Kill-Wait-Kill, untill you get the 大寶的緞帶!

Tamable for undead hunters in Shadowlands pre-patch, but you have to go in on 10 Normal. I normally run 25 heroic for mogs, but I she wasn't tamable then. When I came back about 30 mins later (to allow Precious to respawn), I reset it to 10 normal and tamed her and Stinky just fine.

Undead Hunters can tame this beast.

All other hunters have to get Simple Tome of Bone-Binding which can be obtained by killing elites in Maldraxxus and its associated dungeons: Plaguefall and the Theater of Pain.

Word of warning though. Most of the elites in Maldraxxus will be level 60.
