有耐心的瓦哥 is related to 偉大的可汗龜 rare mob in 薩爪祖斯.

Location: 38.54 68.48
Required for: 薩爪祖斯冒險者
Reward: 超級可汗龜幫

This is a tricky one rare mob to trigger. First, you will need to collect 一箱新鮮的微光魚 in The Azure Span at 45.62 54.84.
Travel then to Thaldraszus to the provided coordinates and talk to 有耐心的瓦哥. Use available dialogue line so he will trigger the rare.

P.S. 一箱新鮮的微光魚 expires in 15 minutes, so it's good to check out the rare is on its spot before go.

He is not spawned all the time. I arrived with the package and he was not there. Not sure if it is because of the Great Hunts currently happening in the zone, or he has a shared spawn with the rare The Great Shellkhan (which was not up for me).

I am guessing he is locked behind Iskaara Tuskarr rep. I am at Level 6 and they are phased out.

This one is giving me some trouble. I have the case of gleamfish, The Great Shelkhan is spawned, Patient Vaargo is also spawned, but I can't talk to them, the character is just ... shaking in fear?

Just wanted to add my two cents here, was speaking with general chat and we suspect this might be an issue with the world quest where you take the raft around for photos, both times it has happened for me, with Vaargo cowering in fear... were when this world quest was up! Now I may be wrong, but if this is true, it's definitely a bug between these two things, the world quest somehow interfering with the rare.

偉大的可汗龜 is in 薩爪祖斯, south of 沃卓肯 at a waterfall.
有耐心的瓦哥 must be fishing nearby and 偉大的可汗龜 must already be there, but it cannot be fought yet.
This requires an 一箱新鮮的微光魚, which is located in 蒼藍高地, in the Kauriq Gleamlet area, on a small island.
Grab the 一箱新鮮的微光魚 and if you deliver it to 有耐心的瓦哥 within 3 minutes, you will get the achievement 三分鐘送達，逾時免費.
偉大的可汗龜 also drops the toy 超級可汗龜幫.
偉大的可汗龜 is part of the achievement 薩爪祖斯冒險者.

Still can't interact, no WQ in the area, rare up, character fishing and not cowering, box in my inventory, still can't do anything with em.

Tried to find him today, 3/2/23, and he wasn't there. No world quests were up near where he's supposed to be. Although the one difference was I was on an alt and hadn't done all the quests in the zone, so maybe that has something to do with it?

I got the case, turned it in to Vaargo, I got the achievement, he said get ready... Shellkan was sitting there, and.... a big fat nothing happened. The cataloger raft was up AND a hunt AND the dream was up, so perhaps any one of those interfered?

June 2025--This is undoubtedly frustrating, but if you fly up to Valdrakken, turn on Warmode (WM), and fly back down, Patient Vaargo shows up, and you can talk to him. It takes some patience to do this one! LOL. Keep in mind that you have to talk to Patient Vaargo to feed the fish to The Great Shelkhan. Some people didn't need to do this, but I did. Thank you to the commenters on The Great Shelkhan and on the Case of Fresh Gleamfish for your help!
