This mount no longer exists. It can no longer be bought for tickets during the brewfest event (as of 2008).
Instead, hops can be bought to temporarily transform your mount into a brewfest ram (if alliance) or brewfest kodo (if horde) until you dismount. Fresh hops are temporary (last 7 days then poof if not used) and cost 5 Brewfest Prize Tokens. Preserved Hops are not temporary and can last forever in your inventory until used, cost 20 Brewfest Prize Tokens.

There is also Fresh Goblin Brewfest Hops for alliance and Fresh Dwarven Brewfest Hops for horde that players can buy for 5 Brewfest Prize Tokens to temporarily transform their mount into the one from the opposite faction (kodo for alliance and ram for horde). No preserved version of these ><.

Shame, I was looking forward to getting this for my twinkie this year. :\

As for the epic version, it now only drops off Coren Drirebrew in BRD during the event.

Found something out interesting out yesterday. As long as you did the handstamp last year you can still vendor buy both of the rams. Last year I just got the epic version for space but with the new spellbook change I picked up this one too earlier.

Currently the mount only requires level 30, but it is not available to players who did not receive the hand stamp during Brewfest 2007. It does count for the Brewfest achievement, "Have Keg, Will Travel".

If you were able to do the Hand Stamp quest from 2007 in the original Brewfest, the vendor is still selling this mount (and the Swift Ram) as of the current patch.

Kinda weird, but this is one of the strange instances where a 60% speed mount is the rarest of the brewfest mounts.
During Brewfest I like to bust this little baby out an trot around with my yellow mug and be the "Old crotchety guy" at the pub.

In the 2010 Brewfest, it is still possible to purchase this from the vendor like in previous years, provided ofc you had the hand stamp from 2007. Was quite relieved they didn't remove it from the selling table of the NPC or even remove the selling table as I forgot to purchase it last year, since there wasn't a mount tab during the 2008 Brewfest.

Edit: In the 2012 edition the vendor is once again present and still sells this mount to those with the handstamp. At the time of this edit, it seems there are no changes from last year's 2011 edition Brewfest other than the update to Coren and his loot, the horde npcs even talk about the fact there was no Brewfest stein for 2010 and give the purple one. Maybe it will change in the next few days, maybe not.

As of Cataclysm, this (like all other land mounts) will go at 100% once you purchase the level 40 riding skill. Obviously the opportunities for using a land mount go down since you can fly everywhere but will be fun to show off in battlegrounds.

As of patch 4.0.1 this mount runs as fast as your ground riding skill allows you to (up to 100% excluding various buffs and talents).

So now this is a perfectly viable ground mount as well as an extremely rare one :)

Now that they have upped all (?) the standard mounts from 60%->100% if you have the skill (never saw the patch notes for it), this baby is my standard mount.

Every year, I hope (in vain) that they add this baby to the loot table of the Keg-Shaped Treasure Chest. Or even make it purchasable for an obscene amount of Brewfest Prize Tokens.

It'd also be nice to have Brewfest Kodo available as a true mount instead of merely a buff from the various types of Brewfest Hops.

I got this the first year of brewfest (no kidding) but I'm excited to get it on my horde toons when MoP comes out. It's definitely going to be my 'HAHA I HAVE THIS AND YOU DON'T' mount. Sure there are going to be other characters with this mount on my server, but it won't be one you see everyday. I think this may just be one of blizzard's congratulations, you are like amazing and you won brewfest the first year. kind of thing. Definitely my new main mount.

This mount was obtainable in the first ever 2007 brewfest. For some reason the "this item is no longer available in the game" sign is no longer on thottbot or wowhead. I thought for a while blizzard was implementing it in the 2012 brewfest. Must just be a typo of some sort. To my knowledge this mount is still unobtainable.

I always check if it's still available for me each year, and to my surprise, it's now at nine gold, or 10% off. Same thing for Swift Brewfest Ram, 10% off. Other than the price having been lowered, I can't think of a reason why it would be that way.

If you have done the quests and collect i think those 500 tokens back in that day. you can still buy this at the vendor every brewfest. those who didnt get the tokens in that time can only get the swift brewfest ram.

This mount only makes sense if you are horde. horde on a dwarf un-armored mount = sense.

Alliance on the ram - looks like brown ram dwarfs have.

but yer if you didnt do the tokens - you miss out and get the swift version.

Brewfest vs Brown Ram:

The Brewfest ram has blue eyes and brown horns; the Brown Ram has brown eyes and white horns. For some reason the Brewfest ram has very detailed (almost HD) fur, especially around the hooves and belly. The Brewfest ram also has a red/gold saddle, to the Brown Ram's green.

Lastly, the Brown Ram is much more "reddish" brown.

i thought this mount was removed from game so you cant get it anymore how come wowhead does not say you cant get it anymore or is there another way to get it? (i tried looking everywhere but wowhead says you can only buy it for 10g from the dwarf standing next to the other dwarf that does the daily ram racing for 2x tokens per barrel and he does not sell anything.

It does look however you must have some Brewfest achievements complete from 2007?

I checked on 4 of my newer characters and all I could do was talk to the vendor, however when I checked on my old mage he had both the epic and the rare ram for sale.

Needless to say I am one happy mount collector

With the ability to recover deleted characters, it's possible to obtain this mount again if you had a character with the hand stamp from 2007 and deleted it in the intervening years. I did so when the service was first announced; recovering my old Dwarf hunter who had the actual ram in his inventory.

Here is the explanation regarding the state of this mount. Before 2008 you had to complete a quest to buy mounts from the Brewfest vendors.
The quest was initiated with 『榮譽釀酒者』手印
If you have completed this quest before 2008 and earned the right to buy mounts, you can still buy this mount. (Remember, in 2008 they removed the mounts from vendors and put them on Coren's loot table). However, if you havent completed it back in the days, sadly there is no chance for you. The yellow stein or the achievement will not entitle you to buy the mount.

If you completed the Brewfest Riding Rams quest in 2007, you are eligible to buy this mount from Brewfest vendors. You cannot purchase this mount otherwise.

If you were able to do the Hand Stamp quest from 2007, the vendor is still selling the Rams. The Ram Racing Apprentice sells both the Brewfest Ram and the Swift Brewfest Ram. If you did not complete the quest back in '07, this vendor will not sell you the rams.
