Currency can be obtained by killing various Elite mobs that spawn periodically inside the Underbelly Sewers, from killing players when the guards are ''taking a break'' and from looting various boxes and/or crates that spawn
(They look like the Pandaria boxes from timeless isle, and have a rather long 'cast' when opening, so be careful if you try to snipe these while in PvP)

There is also a temporary version of this mount from 一箱驍鼠鞍座
(This can be fished up and also bought from the vendor for roughly about 600 盲目之眼)
Once bought you place a box on the floor that any players can click on, and obtain 驍鼠鞍座.
**NOTE this temporary version is only usable in the Underbelly**

Ratstallion is a surprisingly simple mount, I was expecting something a lot more grindy. You can probably get it done in a couple of days.

- Ratstallion Requires 20,000 x 盲目之眼, which is used to complete the achievement 地下老大.

You can get this mount by heading down to the underbelly of Dalaran. Once there you will be able to kill various elite mobs that spawn over time, Buy several different items from vendors which spawn more little mobs (e.g. 尖嘯者之哨 from 史崔普‧扣箭) and loot the chests that spawn in the main room after the guards go on a break. (note: When guards go on break, PvP is enabled!).

You can also get 150 free 盲目之眼s by heading to the back end of the underbelly and handing in the quest 實驗性藥水：需要實驗體 to 菲奇‧爆肝者, this quest also appears to be able to complete once everyday.

NOTE: You do not need to have 20,000 盲目之眼s unspent to earn the achievement, it goes by total obtained. So you can spent the eye's as much as you want.

Also the achievement is character bound, not account bound. So eye's collected on other characters will only count towards the achievement for themselves. The mount however is account bound as usual.

驍鼠 is a reward for 地下老大 achievement, which is obtained by collecting 20k 盲目之眼. Current cap for Sightless Eyes is 5k so you have to spend it in order to collect more, total amount of collected eyes is what counts for the achievement!
盲目之眼 is a Dalaran's 城底區 currency. You can spend it on a lot of useful things from pet battles to different high rank profession recipes.

How to get 盲目之眼:

PvP
When you enter Underbelly you get 下水道守衛 or 沒有守衛 debuff. 下水道守衛 means the guards are on their posts and no PvP is allowed. 沒有守衛 means there is no guards and Underbelly becomes free for all PvP zone. During that time you can farm Sightless Eyes by killing other players, you get from 15 to 50 Eyes for each kill.
Guard Captain 萊森 is the one controlling the guards. You can bribe him to call off guards or call them back for 50 Sightless Eyes. You can even hire personal guard if guards are not on their posts for 5 gold and you'll not be flagged for PvP.
Mobs
Some vendors in the Underbelly sell items for 盲目之眼 that can be used to summon different mobs around the area. Anyone can engage in combat with them but you'll get the loot anyway if you tagged the mob, you get about 1-10 eyes for each kill.

Bosses
There are mini-bosses that will spawn when you have 下水道守衛 debuff which means the guards are on their posts and no PvP is allowed. You'll get 50-90 eyes for each boss.
You can double the number of eyes everyone gets from bosses by using 野性法力魔杖 on them, you have to use it when the boss has more than 90% health. It increases the health of the boss by 200% and damage by 50%.
All mini-bosses scale their health based on the number of players attacking them.

Chests
There are three types (small, medium, large) of chests that will spawn when guards are not on their posts - 沒有守衛. The bigger the chest the more time you need to open it. You have to be flagged for PvP in order to loot the chest. Small chest gives 10 eyes, medium 40 and large 100.
Fishing
Fish pools will spawn in the Underbelly Black Market Auction House area. Your fishing skill doesn't matter. You can create fish pool by using 魔化肉餌 which is sold by 歐珊娜‧魔屠 for 350 魔化肉餌. Caught fish 浮腫的下水道吸吮者 contains 4-5 eyes.
Quests
菲奇‧爆肝者 is in the Alchemist Lab 城底區 at 75.8, 83.2 (south-east on the map),
she offers you 實驗性藥水：需要實驗體 which will transform you into a
various creatures granting different Experimental Potion buffs for 20 minutes.
Buff persists through death and is working only in 城底區.
Quest reward is 150 盲目之眼.
You will be transformed into one of the following creatures:

Skrog
Transform you into a skrog when you are in a space that is large enough to contain one.
While transformed, your health and damage are tripled.

Until 9/6/16 you were able to farm Sightless Eyes in a raid, making this a relatively quick grind of 3-4 hours. It was stealth-nerfed with no restart making it so that you can no longer gain Sightless Eyes when in a raid group.

Now it seems your best option is to get a good 5 man group together and pvp your heart out. GL all.

I was very disappointed to find that after farming all the盲目之眼s needed for the 地下老大 achievement I was unable to ride 驍鼠 around the 城底區. When I tried to mount 驍鼠 in 城底區 it said "Can only use outside." I am able to use the 驍鼠鞍座 but unable to use 驍鼠. It doesn't make a big difference in the overall scheme of things. Chances are, if you farmed enough to obtain 驍鼠 then you will have enough 盲目之眼s remaining to purchase 驍鼠鞍座. It just seems like the immersion and RP factor are broken by not being able to ride around 城底區 on a mount that I OWN and have to use a fake.

I'm not a big PVP person but getting this mount was pretty painless. I got this achievement tonight after about 3 evenings of farming sightless eyes in underbelly. First two evenings I was solo, then tonight I joined a group and it went a lot faster! I recommend grouping up and fishing the green pools around the BMAH while waiting for rares to spawn (always use the wand on them) and get a body guard while PVP is up.

Here are my tips for obtaining this gorgeous rat.

1. Use the mana wands which you can purchase in the sewers for 175 (?) sightless eyes. This will however buff the rare, but in return you get 200 +- eyes from each mob.

2. Grab a fishingpole and fish at the BMAH inbetween killing rares.

or

Get a group with friends who can heal and deal damage, and simply go ham. This might work but on my realm there are hardly any players down in the sewers, so I found the rare-farming the best and most efficient.

I did this grind in one sitting yesterday. I was always in a 5 man premade group with a healer. There were times our group would get killed relentlessly during the free-for-all period and other times we would wipe everyone. With that in mind, it took me just about 6 hours to farm 20,000 sightless eyes. There were about 15 other people in the sewers for most of that 6 hours. I fished a few pools in that 6 hours as well.

Just want to echo what the comment below my said. Fatest way to do this is to get in a five man group on a Sunday and farm noobs during the pvp period. If you are lucky and half descent you can farm people trying to do stuff over and over again for hours. It's hilarious.

Then during the switch to PVE just spam crocs and imps tag everything and you will get eyes fast. I went form about 9,000 to 15,000 in an hour or two last night. Also make sure you get the mana wands for the bosses that spawn they will give way more eyes. Also careful not to hit the boss with too many wands. I don't think it gives any more eyes and it makes it harder to kill them. This is the perfect time to be doing this lots of people hanging around with nothing to do waiting for BFA. There are people still lots of people down there do it now before BFA!

This is NOT the fastest guide to get this, its the most efficient meaning you will earn more for playing less.
Only do this when PVP is disabled.

1. Turn up your WoW volume so that you can hear the map ping that comes with rare spawns.
2. Stand in the middle of the sewers with 驍鼠鞍座 and AFK doing whatever you like
3. When you hear the ping rush to the rare, and use 野性法力魔杖 on every single boss before fighting them (grants double the eyes)
4. rinse and repeat

its about 30 seconds per rare, so 150-200 eyes per 30 seconds instead of wasting tens of minutes for fishing or killing small mobs around

A Short Guide to Farming 盲目之眼 - post-Legion - for the achievement 地下老大

My goal was to farm sightless eyes as quickly as possible, while understanding the mechanics at play. This was with minimal competition and no real PvP.

Bosses drop approximately 40-70 eyes ea. Using the 野性法力魔杖 on the bosses will increase this amount to 165-225 eye. Wand cost 175 eyes and are good dump for eyes. I started with just a few wands at a time and as I gain more eyes, carried more around. They do not stack, but can be sold back to a vendor within 2hrs for a full refund. There is little else to loot, so you won't find your bags full.

Fishing will also provide 5-9 eyes per catch in the black market area. Using the stopwatch in the game I timed out approximately the respawn rates and how many casts I could catch between spawns.

The respawn rate is approximately 1m45sec-3m15sec. Between the spawns, I could catch approximately 5-6 fishing casts. Averaging the numbers this meant I farmed 230ish sightless eyes per 3ish minutes.

But its never that simple. A problem I encountered was a lack of respawning of bosses. This would occur every 15 to 30 minutes. I could tell if my stopwatch reached 5min without a new boss. The trick here is speaking to 萊森 and shutting the guards off. Guards remain off for 5 minutes before they can be turned back on. This will cost you 100 eyes. During the guardless period chests will spawn. Small chests are the fastest to open and will give you 10 eyes. Medium take longer and give 40 eyes. One glowing chest spawn immediately but is not lootable for 20 secs after spawn. This chest is the largest and will award 100 eyes. Small chest spawn every 30 sec and medium chests every minute. After looting the last medium chest at the 5 minute mark, turn the guards on. Bosses will resume respawning. PvP mode is not as efficient as the bosses. You have to turn it on, but you want to be done with it in 5 minutes. I got about 350 eyes with no competition during this 5 minutes.

Another useful purchase is the portal keys. 傳送門之鑰：下水道衛站, 傳送門之鑰：後門, 傳送門之鑰：旅店入口, 傳送門之鑰：鍊金師的巢穴, 傳送門之鑰：黑市 from 克瑚塔
These keys put portals throughout the sewers and can be used to travel to any of the other portals. The Inn portal is usefull for the mages, BMAH for the shark, and the guard station for avoiding death.

Weirdly I never found myself reaching max eyes until nearing 18,000 of 20,000 needed for the achievement. Buy the pets and such if you need more capacity. 一箱驍鼠鞍座 while useful if you don't have a movement speed increase, are hardly necessary with the portals. Use sparingly so you don't get short on wands.

For those trying to collect the mount post-Legion:

This only works in the Dalaran Underbelly of Legion - if you are in Northrend Dalaran it will not work.
You can farm about 3000-4000 in an hour, granted you're alone, so it will likely take around 6 hours in total.
Bosses show up as a gold star on your map, the giant chests also show up on your map while the guards are gone.
Try to do it in the morning if you can so there's less chance of running into players of opposing faction.

Put on your favorite show/podcast to listen in the background as the farming is rather mindless.

Best method for farming I found:

Purchase Wild Mana Wand (it's a consumable) for 175 eyes - ALWAYS have 1 available.
Wait for a boss to spawn (it only spawns while guards are active), use the wand, and get 170-225 eyes.
When the guards leave, loot all spawned chests and then pay Raethan 50 eyes to bring the guards back as soon as possible.
Once you have a Wild Mana Wand and 950 eyes, buy a rat crate from Raethan to get a conjured 100% speed mount that you can use in the Underbelly. This lasts until you logout for 15 minutes.

You can pay 50 eyes to have the guards leave/come back (5-10 minute timer on this), but the process of opening all chests and waiting for more to spawn takes time, and bosses do not spawn when the guards have left.

I've found it's much quicker and less tedious to simply wait for the bosses to spawn and use a wand on them, rather than looting chests. Looting all chests takes like 15 minutes and only gets you 200-300 eyes. Killing 2 wanded bosses can give you over 400 eyes.

Quick Guide to Farming Sightless Eyes in the Underbelly TWW
Tip: Consider doing this on a Role-Playing (RP) server. When I first attempted this on a normal server, I noticed competition from both Alliance and Horde players. I later switched to a low-population server and observed the same players, likely due to sharding. Finally, I switched to an RP server, where I was alone and completed the task in a few hours.

Steps:
1. Use an RP Server: This can reduce competition, as fewer players are typically farming in these areas. I'm unsure if you can use a class trial character for this, but it may be worth trying.

2. Purchase Wild Mana Wand: Buy the Wild Mana Wand from the vendor in the Underbelly for 175 Sightless Eyes. This item significantly increases the drop rate from rares, nearly tripling it.

3. Use the Wild Mana Wand: Use the wand on a rare before attacking. Rares respawn every 2-3 minutes. When using the wand, each rare drops about 200 Sightless Eyes, allowing you to farm 3,000 to 4,000 Sightless Eyes per hour.

4. Avoid Paying for Guards to Leave: While paying for the guards to leave will spawn chests, it also stops rares from spawning. The chest farming is much slower; you might only get 400 Sightless Eyes in 10-15 minutes versus 1,000 Sightless Eyes from rares.

5. Purchase the Crate: Buy the crate to get a conjured mount (Ratsallion Harness), which will help you move faster in the sewer. As long as you don't log out, the mount remains in your inventory and can be used throughout the grind.

Example Run (26 minutes):
10:00 - Mana Seether: 185 Sightless Eyes
10:02 - Call off guards and open chest: 285 Sightless Eyes
10:09 - Guards return
10:14 - Rare Sagacedi: 212 Sightless Eyes
10:16 - Rare Xullorax: 205 Sightless Eyes
10:19 - Rare Crazed Mage: 185 Sightless Eyes
10:21 - Rare Thieving Scoundrel: 219 Sightless Eyes
10:24 - Rare Xullorax: 224 Sightless Eyes
10:26 - Rare Splint: 203 Sightless Eyes

The majority of this information has already been pointed out, but I did not see anything on the RP server and sharding so hopefully this strategy should help you farm Sightless Eyes quickly and efficiently. Good luck!

If you are here for the mount, the process is simple. The achievement is 20k sightless eyes GATHERED. (Spend them on wands)
Spend the currency to turn guards ON so you can wand rares and collect INCREASED amount of sightless eye currency so you get this mount more efficiently and quicker.
In the down time while you are waiting for rares, you can fish the green pools for more currency.
