Okay, I have now heavily revised this list. Yes it is true, many of these items do not CURRENTLY count towards the acheivement. They did on Beta for a good while however, so I will not remove the items that do NOT count, incase it turns out that them not counting is a bug, but I will UNDERLINE those that DO currently count. Thanks to all those who have commented and posted the locations of those I could not find myself. I am adding them to this list for completenessess sake.

Note: If it's a chest and it give you a blue, it DOES count!

Blade of the Prime
Location: In the cave along the shore of the Lake of the Stars. Stuck in the wall.

Bloodsoaked Chitin Fragment
Location: Found in the Murkscale Grotto.

Location: Found around Heart of Fear. (33.00 30.07)

Location: Found this item sitting on a stone next to a large tree to north and slightly to the east of The Clutches of Shek'zeer. (48,30)

Manipulator's Talisman
Location: Obained by 'talking' to the Glinting Rapana Whelk. Found randomly around the Briny Muck.

Location: Southernmost Island, East of Unga Ingoo, on the ship turned platform, and not two feet from the Rare Spawn Spriggin. As you can likely guess, it is a barrel. Near the three barrels on the left side of the ship, when facing southeast.

Stack of Papers
Location: Marista Island, East of Nayeli Lagoon. Spawns with the gnome skeletons around the hatch in the ground.

Equipment Locker
Location: Non-sunken Pirate ship west of Unga Ingoo.

Pandaren Fishing Spear
Location: Almost underneath the fishing pandaren. (50.8, 49.4)

Saurok Stone Tablet
Location: Found in the saurok cave west of Zhu's Watch.

Kun-Lai Summit:

Ancient Mogu Tablet
Location: Found in the cave to the east of the temple of the white tiger, begind one of the statues in the second room.

Hozen Treasure Cache
Location: At the very end of Knucklethump Hole, behind Cho Cho the Wicked.

Location: In the flooded room in the cave "The Deeper". In the rock int he middle of the pond.

Location: Found next to a rare mantid Ski'thik on Kota peak.

Mo-Mo's Treasure Chest
Location: Small South-western Hozen camp, near the quest mob Mo-Mo. Back of his cave.

Rikktik's Tick Remover
Location: Found: Inside of the cave, Emperor Riktiks Rest. Inside of the cave, on his statue alter, there can be a chest called Riktiks Tiny Chest, this has the Tick Remover inside of it. (52,51)

Sprite's Cloth Chest
Location: At the very end of the sprite cave, North of Binan Village

Stash of Yaungol Weapons
Location: Fire Camp Yongqi. Contains a blue spear.

Statue of Xuen
Location: Located at the bottom of the lake SouthWest of Zouchin Village and North of the Temple of the White Tiger. The lake is at the foot of the large waterfall coming from the temple. (71,33)

Stolen Sprite Treasure
Location: Found inside Howlingwind Cavern.

Tablet of Ren Yun
Location: Tip of mount Neverest, right by the Panda shrine.

Terracotta Head
Location: Found: Mogujia. Found underneath a Terracotta Guardian in the corner at the coordinate below. Looks just like all of the other heads arond the ruins, but it is on its side. (59,74)

Kafa Press
Location: Found in the southernmost Yeti cave. Look for an Ice Block. Might be found in any Yeti cave though.

Location: Multiple places in Greenstone Mine.

Location: Found on the table on a hill east to the Serenity falls. (26.2, 32.3)

Location: Found in the Seat of the spirit waker, at terrace of ten thunders. It was leaning against the wall.

Jade Infused Blade
Location: Found behind the Jade Witch's house. Center Pandaren statue. (39,45)

Lucky Pandaren Coin
Location: Found inside a small well to the east of the Strongarm Airstrip in Jade Forest. (31, 27)

Pandaren Ritual Stone
Location: North west of Camp Nooka Nooka in the center of a small island called the circle of the scale in the middle of the Lake Kittitata. (23,35)

Ship's Storage
Location: Confirmed - Partially sunken alliance ship off the south coast, and just off of the Jade Forest Map.
Coordinates: On the Pandaria Zone Map, it is at (71,72)
Suspected - Any sunken ship in the zone.

Location: Found in a cave in the windward isle near the Shadowfae madcap.

Location: Anywhere at the bottom of the river starting at Grookin Hill.

Any idea where in Dread Wastes the Murkscale Grotto is? I can't seem to find the subzone.

A given character can only obtain each relic once, as after you have received credit for looting a relic, you are unable to see that relic when it spawns again (i have confirmed this using alts with two of the vendor trash items, one of the BoAs and the Cache of Pilfered Goods)

It is possible to track which relics a character has credit for by querying the server as to the completion status of the "FLAG - (relic name)" quests using the command '/run print(IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(xxxxx))', where xxxxx is the quest number of the associated FLAG quest.

I am reasonably certain that the relics and quests line up as follows:

I can now confirm that you can find a treasure more the one time on diffrent characters.

I had 11/20 on my rogue and was thinking of trying my horde druid on low pop server.
I found 揚古火炬 that i already had on my rogue.

I was able to loot it but it didnt count to the achivement!
I hope this helps anyone couse I had the same question myself!

For those of you going for this achievement as well as 他人的珍寶 there is something you should know. You're only able to loot any rare once per character. These items are not unique, but once you loot them on one character they will "phase out" for that character forever meaning you won't be able to loot another unless you use a second character.

Another note to add is if you use a second character and loot a rare you already have it will NOT count beyond the first credit. I had my hopes up thinking that they'd count again on the second character and upon looting 奪風者迅擊匕首 for a second time on my second lvl 90, it didn't count a second time as I've looted it once in the 17 rares I've got. So looting it again didn't add one to that count, being 18.

TL;DR: You can only loot the rare items once per Character. If you loot a rare a second time on another character it will not count again towards your rare count.

Firstly thank you to everyone who posted co-ordinates to all of these items.

Secondly, I can not find a Carbonite list for these in a macro form, so I created one. Please copy and paste each section into a macro to generate all of the Carbonite Notes you will need to find these items. This will add a {star} to your Carbonite map for you to locate the item.

Please read all other relevant posts regarding the spawn, camping, item description and physical location as I do not need (or wish) to re-post them here.

There are two Treasure Hunt achievements in Mists of Pandaria - one sets you on a path to find 18 "Treasures", the other one requires you to find 20 "Lost treasures". When I started working on these achievements, I could not figure out the differences. But here they are:

Lost Treasures (this one)
Achievements: 失而復得, 誰找到誰的, 昔日的寶藏 and 他人的珍寶
These items are rare spawns. There are many posts on this page and the pages for the related achievements describing what they are and where to find them - the lootable rewards you get are items (armor, weapons, etc) that are either Soulbound or Bind-to-Battle.net account. The thing is that these spawns are rare spawns. You can travel to the location, but more often than not, the item will not be there. You can camp a spot or you can travel around or you can get invited to other servers via real-id to check for them, but this is the tough one. For you achievement hunters out there, note that the last achievement requires you to find "only" 20 of these Lost Treasures - and there are (at least) 28 of them.

Treasures (the other one)
Achievements: 潘達利亞的寶藏, 潘達利亞的財富, 潘達利亞的慨贈 and 豐哉！潘達利亞.
These items are always there. Check Lilikoi's comment on 豐哉！潘達利亞 for the definitive list. The thing is that you can simply travel to all the specified locations, loot the items, and then you have found the 18 treasures and get the achievement. Simple and no fuss at all.

Some comments/pages will also - confusingly enough - mention items that does not count for the achievements - those posts are pre-patch 5.1. As they do not count for the achievement, you can safely ignore them. I think the reason is that before patch 5.1, there was a lot of confusing as to which items counted for the achievements, but after 5.1, it got a lot clearer. The posts, however, are still somewhat unclear and they at least managed to confuse me. I hope this post can help others, who are as confused as I was.

This achievement leads up to Is Another Man's Treasure.
Go here to get a full list of items that count towards it. This list requires TomTom and Paste to execute it.

Edited: Moved the script to map the items to the last achievement in the line.

This achievement line awards 'the Relic Hunter' title.

There are 28 different items you can loot for this series of achievements, the majority of which are BoA. These can only be looted once per character, after which you will no longer be able to see the related quest item when it spawns. Unlike the items for the Treasures of Pandaria achievement line, these items are NOT always available and will require some camping/luck to find them all.

Since looting these items completes a hidden flag quest, the easiest way to know which item you have/haven't looted is by running the following script:

/run print(IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(FLAG_ID))

Simply replace FLAG_ID with the appropriate quest ID listed in brackets next to the items below. The script will return 'nil' if you haven't looted the item, and '1' if you have.

Note: Some of the names for the FLAG quests don't match the items they reward. This is because they gave different rewards during beta and where simply re-used when Blizzard changed their mind about what rewards to give.

Putting together several of the comments, here's a script to execute via Paste that will add TomTom waypoints, but only for items you haven't found yet.

Some caveats:

For items with multiple spawn points (e.g. 古老錦魚人之杖), I only gave one waypoint, 'cause I'm lazy.
For items where the item name differs from the container/mob name (e.g. 捷巧心靈之清晰護符/琥珀包覆的項鍊), I only gave the item name, 'cause I'm lazy.
For items found in caves/buildings (e.g. 卡法壓製器), I gave whatever coords, entrance or item, someone else gave in the comments, 'cause I'm lazy.
I got the item names from comments, and while I fixed some obvious typos, I didn't validate the names, 'cause I'm lazy.
Finally, this big, ugly blob of copypasta can presumably be replaced by a loop or something, but a) I'm lazy, and b) I don't know Lua.

Shadowlands broke all of the other commands posted here. TomTom changed their command structure and the map listings are different.
Here are the correct commands to use as of 9.0 to check if the item has already been looted by your current toon, and, if it has not, to place a waypoint.
