This achievement could prove to be a little harder than it seems. If we assume that all players who bother to risk getting their hearts broken are also going for this achievement. Then there is a pool of N players who all want to mend 20 other players' hearts. The players who may get broken hearts are from the same pool of N people. So that means that all players on average should break their hearts 20 times in order for other players to get their achievements.

The Valentine's event has just started, but it remains questionable if sufficient players persist in attempting to get gifts from NPCs to produce enough broken hearts for everyone to get their achievement done.

For the the Alliance, I found two good places to do this Achievement. In both cases there are multiple guards in a single location that are ussually camped by one or more people. As a result, you have a decent chance of someone become heartbroken on a frequent basis at these locations.

In Stormwind, along the canal walkway outside the Park, there are four Stormwind Guards escorting a single Defias Prisoner. They ussually remain stationary. This group is ussually camped.

In Darnassus, there are three pairs of guards in the long covered walkway at the Warrior's Terrace (roughly at 62,40). Again, there are frequently multiple people camped here having their hearts broken.

In the 2010 version of the event, these no longer come from broken-hearted players. Instead, to obtain these, you need to have a Lovely Charm Collector's Kit (obtainable from Peddlefeet-like NPCs in major cities) in your inventory, and go kill mobs that will grant you xp normally. This kit apparently disappears on logout like other conjured items currently. You do not need to loot the charms, but they will appear in your bag if it "drops". Personal testing suggests the drop rate is around 20-30%. 10 of these charms can be combined to form a bracelet.

In practice, you can grind easy mobs like the wolvar in Sholazar Basin or do the Battle Before the Citadel quest in Icecrown. Trampling the foot soldiers will give you charms which you can use to make these bracelets.

These bracelets provide a grindable source of Love Tokens, which is the currency for buying most of the items you will need for achievements, as well as 40 tokens for a permanent Peddlefeet.

After the latest maintenance, it appears that fast-respawn/ low hp mobs such as the foot soldiers in Battle Before the Citadel do not yield charms anymore. If this so, Ulduar dwarves possibly do not give it anymore as well.

I don't know if this is already posted, but i found that the easiest way to get the charms is to go to Ahn'Kahet (The old Kingdom) and to kill the first 4 swarmer groups.
they usually drop around 2~3 per group (so you should get 8~12 per run), and you don't have to fight any other mobs when you're at lvl80.

so you only have to run in, kill the 4 swarmer, run out, reset instances and repeat, it should take you about 2~3 minutes per run.

by far the best place to farm to make bracelets is the dwarfs in Ulduar, i got about 400 lovely charms in less than 30 minutes

Easiest way to farm this.... Culling Of Time: Stratholme. All the little zombies have a chance to generate a token.

Go kill all the zombies to the left. Wait for the first pack to patrol to the center, and sneak by and go to the right. Rinse repeat.

As others have said, Ulduar. Grab a vehicle, stay at the start where the friendly NPC's are wait for the 3 or 4 big elites to come. Kill those (or they will kill you) and from there on in more dwarfs will keep spawning. You can do this for as long as you have empty bag slots. It's a good idea to bank everything you can before you go. Yes you really will get that many charms.

And for those that like achievements (and lets face it, you wouldn't be doing the love is in the air ones if you didn't) the you can easily do http://www.wowhead.com/?achievement=3097 at the same time.

I found that the best place to farm these at level 80 is the Violet Hold on regular. Do not start the instance, just go to the bottom of the stairs and start killing the enemies that come to you. Try to aggro them before they get to the guards. I did this as a shadow priest and collected approximately 100 lovely charms in less than one hour. The best thing about it is that you don't have to worry about a. people ganking you or b. running around to kill because they come right to you!

My friend and I went to Ulduar for about 15 minutes last night, and within that time, we both managed to make about 19 charm bracelets from the charms that dropped. Though I died from getting owned by every mob ever, my friend made her way out by riding a tank out of the instance (/sigh). Surely worth the time spent in there and it's fun!

Battle before the citadel is a great place to get the charms too. If you ride your horse over the footmen each one that drops give you a chance for the items! All you have to do is steer!

For an easy, fast way to collect charms, follow the advice of deadlycuts and head over to Icecrown. Equip your lance and hop on one of the Citadel steads and proceed to mow down Boneguard Footmen. Eliminating all of the Boneguards should yield around 100 charms, or 10 bracelets. With their smoking-fast spawn rate and your ability to heal up every minute or so, this is the easiest farming method out there.

I checked a few spots such as the undead Trolls outside Drak'tharon, and the Bombardement Valley in Ice Crown. Nothing.

It seems you now only get them of mobs, that actually provide loot.

last evening I tried both the footman from Battle before the Citadel and the Kvaldir Deepcallers and neither dropped any charms. After the Deepcallers I went and killed some of the Kvaldir on the island and filled out what I needed.

So, as others have said, it appears that Blizz nerfed the fast respawn no loot mobs farming of the charms :(

There still is one good grindable place, with a decently fast respawn rate and easy to kill mobs. In Icecrown near the Fleshworks, there is a spot close to Darkrider Arly that has about 20ish Risen Soldiers, who do grant you Lovely Charm Bracelets. In about 30 minutes I had about 50-60 of them, enough to complete the Charming achievement for me, as I'd already gotten enough from dungeons and other stuff.
The only thing of note is the Master Summoner Zarod who's a bit tougher (But not much) and casts frost spells at you. This spot may not grant you a ton like Ulduar used to, but with the fast respawn rate it won't take you as long as other spots, and you won't have much competition as opposed to the Crown Watchers.

Appears this achievement can be done outside of the holiday if you have the Kit.

Also interesting to note that if someone shares any of the holiday daily capital boss quests with you, you will automatically get the kit. So if you share the quests with your alts, they can get head start on next years achievements!

These come from putting together 10 (charms) to make 1 (bracelet).

At level 85 I have found that the Charms drop about 25-35% of the kills that are level 82 and up. These are also obtainable to get from PVP but only if you have the "kill shot".

The best place to get these that I have found are in Deepholm in the SW. There you will find large mobs attacking giant stone/mechanical guys. With an AOE of just multi-shot I was able to get enough charms to drop in an hour to make 12 bracelets. Just for the added gold i also used an 'elixer of treasure finding' and netted 5 stacks of embersilk along with about 60 gold in vedor junk and also 70-80 gold in loose change p/u.

I had no repair bill from doing this way as compaired to farming in TB where the spawn rate is crazy but not that many large pulls at one time.

I hope this helps the next person out with info and ideas as to what might work for you. No player is the same but I hope this helps out someone with getting through their "love is in the air" season.

Ok for all u lvl 85s wondering how to be able to make alot of these charms , i qued for AV and went to the mines, killed everything in there and ended up with more charms then i needed for all the achments that require u to make these things. good luck hunting :)

Excellent place to farm these at 85 is Deathspeaker's Watch, the old Argent Tourny cult of the damned area. The mobs are all green, but only have around 12k health or so. Mount up, round a bunch up, and then aoe them down. Rinse and repeat for an easy achieve!

Edit: I forgot to mention that those with Argent Crusader's Tabard can teleport to an extremely nearby location to the farming spot, making even travel incredibly easy!

Another decent place to do this at lvl 85 is around Tol Barad where you quest. On my realm a stack of embersilk is about 70-90g. Easy to find trash to kill. Doing the dailies...I got maybe 20 braclets.

The best place to farm these at 85, hands down, are on 熔渣s in Halls of Lightning. They're clustered together nicely and have a very fast respawn. Only 16k hp seals the deal!

Got my 12 bracelets in under 30 minutes. :)

The best place to farm them, in my opinion, is in Uldum while doing the quest Crushing the Crown In 30 minutes I picked up the full 120 I needed for the achievement. The level 83 mobs are easy to kill and there are loads of them that constantly respawn.

The 可愛符咒手鐲s required for the 超可愛 achievement are earned by trading in 可愛符咒 x10.

The best place to use your 可愛符咒收集工具組 to collect your 可愛符咒s is in 海潮王座. Leave the zone set to normal mode to speed the process and reduce any damage taken.

After killing the first two bosses, go back to the entrance and head up the left corridor towards 歐蘇瑪特. In the hallway there, kill the 不穩定的腐化 mobs that continuously spawn. They can be AoE killed quickly (only about 3k health!), even solo, by almost any class, and each one that dies has a chance to leave a 可愛符咒. You will have to kill the 被感染的哨衛 mobs in the front and middle of the hallway first to clear room to kill the 被感染的哨衛s. However, be careful not to kill the two 被感染的哨衛 that are standing at the end of the hallway before 歐蘇瑪特; once those die, the 不穩定的腐化s stop spawning.

Depending on how quickly your class can AoE farm here, you can easily pick up 500+ 可愛符咒s per hour; some classes report farming almost 1,000/hour. You will likely need a group to help you kill the first two bosses, though.

(Note: Technically, you only have to kill the first boss, 納茲賈爾女士, and activate the control panel, to open up 歐蘇瑪特's hallway to access the 不穩定的腐化s. While the 2nd boss 指揮官烏索克 spawns when the control panel is activated, you can hug the outer wall of his room to avoid him and reach the teleporter to return to the front of the instance and head over to 歐蘇瑪特's hallway.)

At level 73 doing the "Charmed" quest I found a good place with a fast respawn and a reasonable drop rate was at the "Eco-Dome Farfield" in Netherstorm. The quest "All Clear!" is how I discovered this. It takes a little time but at lower level it is doable and you get a tonne of Raptor Ribs for your cooking skill as well.

How to complete this achievement:

Make sure you have the Lovely Charm Collector's Kit before following this guide !

- Please notice that this is what I personally find fastest and there are other ways to to this!

In order to receive your Lovely Charms you enemies must be at least green to you !

The easy way, but less rewarding: Use a Wormhole Generator (if engineer) or fly to Storm Peaks. Enter Halls of Lightning and skip the first boss. Once you reach the area filled with elementals called "Slag" you should start killing them. They have a spawn timer of around 30 secs which gives you enough time to eat or whatever you might need. Per pull you should get an average of around 5.

The harder way, but more rewarding: Use the portal for Vashj'ir and head to Throne of the Tides (located in Abyssal Maw). In here you will have to defeat the first boss in order to proceed. After killing Lady Naz'jar you will be able to head towards some elementals called "Tainted Sentry". They respawn fast and will therefore be more rewarding to you. This map will show you where they are located in the dungeon.

By doing this you will soon be the proud owner of the "Charming" achievement!

I will tell you a way to get lots of these in a couple of minutes.
Just go and make your daylies in firelands then chose to go with the shadow druids and make the quests.
The quest for the 可愛符咒 is 承受熱氣 where you just get in the circle to protect you from the fire elementals and when 5 or more are around you just clic the circle and there you got lots of 可愛符咒 now just repeat this with all the 8 circles. Good luck!
P.D. If you want more just leave the quest and take it again.

For 80-85, here are some handy little tips.

Once you get your Lovely Charm Collector's Kit from Peddlefeet (it's in a speech bubble, below the quest when you first talk to him) you may now receive the Lovely Charms. You can receive the charms when you or a party member at hand kills a target that would offer experience points or honor, so you can queue for battlegrounds or dungeons. I found the profit to be a little less than satisfactory, however.

What I did was find a place in Mount Hyjal that was absolutely perfect. For level 85's, they're one to two hit kills. ( 暮光風暴召喚者 ) If you start at one end and kill your way to the other, the humans will respawn in time for you to fly back and do it again. Don't make a charm bracelet after you've hit 10 charms! Wait til you have 11 or 12. I find that making the bracelets immediately makes it harder to receive the charms for whatever reason. The drop rate is great once you get going. I'm sure there are great places in UIdum, but the killing wont be as easy.

With the extreme scaling in MoP, the facerolling done in Cataclysm-zones is laughable. I particularly like Deepholm, just north of Stonehearth (at and around 24;63)

Go to Kun Lai Summit, look for the Sha spots on the ground....at lvl 90, you can farm the Seething Sha in those nodes. You can get 10 lovely charms a minute easily.

The respawn rate at these nodes are very quick....often they will respawn immadiately after killing the sha's.

I cleaned out Nectarbreeze Orchard of all the Gormali Raiders (I call 'em ginger mogu). That worked pretty well. They respawn fast. The Silverhorn Stags and Silverhorn Yearlings run around in families of 4 or 5 and they drop 'em too. The Jade Forest over all has been where I've been doing my shopping. Maybe not the fastest route, but worth mentioning.

I did not see any recent post for farming the charms this year(2013) in Panderia. So I thought I would let you know you can farm them inside the STORMSTOUT BREWERY dungen on reg. Just clear all the way up to the first boss which can be solo ed with prot pally/485 gear score. Once the mokies are doing there dance, you walk into the next part where the rabbits are pooring down the stairs and kill all the way up to the door of the giant rabbit boss. Never activate boss just run up and down killing and farming charms freelly for hours until you have enough. the npc's names are hopper and bopper.

I found an amazing place to farm this year. The turtles by halfhill @ 62,27 (Razorback Snappers) respawn very fast, and only have 36k health.

Good spot to farm this in Legion is in Valsharah at 68,75. There are 600k hp mobs with very quick respawn. As a shadow priest you just run and put you sw pain on everything and you get one bracelet per minute.

I managed to farm them really quickly by going around in Lower Karazhan Heroic and killing all the trash left in there after the random HC group was done killing all the bosses.

I got around 70-80 charms by killing everything there is to kill and took me around 30 mins from start of dungeon until i was done clearing everything.

Normal Motherlode is probably the best place to farm the Lovely Charms.

As a 403 ilvl Shadow Priest it took me a little less than an hour to get all 120 charms for the achievement alone. You can clear all the first part before the first boss, go out, reset, repeat. Just make sure you pull everything and don't let the Mech Drivers get in.

Make sure you pull all the Rowdy Revelers too and just take it easy on the pulls. You'll be done in no time.

For Shadowlands, I recommend going to The Banewood out in southern Revendreth. Kill the "wildlife" out there in a makeshift circle. They respawn pretty quick.

The charms drop in Torghast, I ran a layer one Twisting Corridors and got 87 lovely charms in the first 9 floors.

Now in shadowlands if you want this achievement, and you are lvl 60, you have to make the newest content. The way I found it easist to get it was trough some Torghast layer 1 runs.

So just to sum up

1) get the "Lovely Charm Collector's Kit" from the vendor in your mayer cities I personal found mine in Orgrimmer to the right of the AH house if you look in.

2) Go to a spot where mobs still are marked green in there levels, for lvl 60 players you have to kill in newest content. I personal decided to clear all mobs in a Torghast Layer 1. They die fast and there is a lot of mobs inside.

3) When you have 10 Lovely Charm's you can craft a Lovely Charm Bracelet

4) Repeat until you have 12 Bracelets

16.59, 37.48 in Azure Span, kill the scrappers. would probably be even easier with a tank, i used my bm hunter and cleaved big groups. with a tank that can clear them all as a group ive heard the respawn here is around 5 mins, my hunter doesnt clear the entire camp before they start respawning where i started at so the farm never stops
