After running into the blasted lands from the swamp of sorrows you will see two quest givers to the right, you get five quests from them. this one sux because in the whole there are only about 10 vultures. It took me about 4 hours to get these done. Be careful of the dragon boss that circles about every 20 minutes.

To complete all of the kill-collection quests, you will need...

06x Blasted Boar Lung
06x Scorpok Pincer
11x Basilisk Brain
05x Snickerfang Jowl
14x Vulture Gizzard

The Vulture Gizzard's are extremely rare. Only about 10-15 birds spawn in the entire area, that plus the area is crowded. Droprate is said to be 30%. Mine was alot lower, possible 10% droprate. Skip the two quests involving these, if you not plan to grind the area for 3-4 hours.

I recommend to do all the quests except the one where it requires 10 Vulture Gizzard, it takes hours to finish it..

despite all of the places the map says the vultures can be found, the only place I found them with any consistency were at 55,44 and 56,37. There were at least two at each of these sites with an additonal 1 which wanders between them. Respawn time is 3-4 minutes. good place to go back to over and over while doing all the other kill quests.

maybe it is strange but i got about 40% droprate from bonepickers...so i won't recomand you to skip any quest...it is better to try out your luck

This is a fine quest, this is what you need to do:

Step 1: First you start at the place 52,38 (you see that part is a little bit brighter on the map)
There should be 2 birds flying around, go and teach them a lesson.

Step 2: Then you go to 56,37.
There are 2 aswell, take these 2.

Step 3: Then you go to 54,44 where 2 birds are close to eachother, approach from the southern part and pull the closest one when you think they are a bit far away from eachother.

When you have killed these 2, proceed to step 1 again, they should be respawned, if not, go grind on others that are near till they respawn,
Good luck!

well i agree with you about the low % drop ... but there is a nice 4700 xp at the final for a level 50.

Thottbot

It sucks a$$, its like a 1/15 drop, totally lame, you'll want to shoot wow for this quest

Thottbot

is it repeatable?

Thottbot

yes

Thottbot

Where is the quest giver located?

Thottbot

quest givers' tloc is 51,14

Thottbot

So one quest completion gives you one gum correct? Can you purchase them from the NPC thereafter or do you need to do the quest every time?

also: does this stack with Sagefish Delight buff? Divine Spirit?

Thottbot

u need to kill black slayers but drop rate is crapy

Thottbot

Use this together with Libram of Rumination, Black Diamond, Black Blood of (something) from BRD, to permanently enchant head or legs items with 100 mana

Thottbot

The quest giver is at 50, 14.

The certain type of species are the ones located in fron the quest giver, around 49, 20.

Thottbot

I think I've killed enough mobs to get the 4700 xp without even turning in the quest; I still don't have the 20 drops I need :(

Thottbot

All the quests given by these 2 guys have HORRIBLE drops. I spent about 3 1/2 hrs getting all the items for these 5 or so quests...Horrible. If you dont want to spend the time find some other quests to do.

Thottbot

Jesus guys, you're all friggin crybabies - get over it. The droprate is not that bad, and the grind xp is good as well, also there's the item rewards.

Get over it.

Thottbot

Everytime u are doing the quests for the two people, do u then get the same amount of XP every each time ?

Thottbot

the rest of the quests are ok, but this one really sucks. The problem is not only the drop rate, the biggest problem is: there isn't enough vulture to kill. Each spot only has like 3-5 vultures and there are only 2-3 vulture spots. The whole quest totally sucks. I just skip this one.

Thottbot

This quest can be very annoying, seeing as you need to collect multiples of the same item for different quests. However if you are near a big city just make sure to check the auction houses as these items can be bought quite cost effectively, saving you lots of time grinding.

Hope this helps and sorry if it's already been posted.

The Gizzard Gum reward is used for the Libram of Rumination, which can be turned in with some other mats to Mathredis Firestar for +150 mana to a head or leg slot item.

Thottbot

Can someone please post the bloody coords?

Thottbot

The only place I encountered the Vultures is at 56,37.
For you without cords, you should follow the road south untill you are west of "Serpent's coil" then you'll see a ballistae wreck lying in a small hill, where you can find some birds. You should see them anyways if you just stick to the road.

This is the MOST REDICULOUS DROP RATE IN THE HISTORY OF THE GAME. My group must have killed over 100 vultures and we still have not obtained all the necessary gizzards. I simply stopped playing long enough to come out and leave this comment.

BLIZZARD, in the next addon or patch, fix this ignorant mess...

Allakhazam

You can do the quest more than once BUT you can only have one of the item on you/in your bank at one time. So you have to consume the item before turning in the next quest. They are also used in the libram quests, and those are repeatable.

Can you do this quest more than once?

Allakhazam

Upon completing this quest you get a buff - Spiritual Domination - that has the same effect as the item you recieve: +25 spirit.

Allakhazam

quest givers' tloc is 51,14

Allakhazam

I've heard that there is an hour long cooldown on theese, so it is only posible to have 1 type of buff at the time, is that true ? :(

Allakhazam

the gizzard drop was very bad until i started to kill the bonepickers, they are almost 100%.... good luck

Allakhazam

If you're very young, and plan on doing nothing else with your life except ginding, don't even pick this up. Drop rate is pathetic (<5%) with Slayers, I didn't have much more luck with Bonepickers. Reward is unique, you can't ever have more than one in inventory - including bank. Total waste of time.

Allakhazam

yes you can do it more than once

Allakhazam

yeah you can do it more than once.

Allakhazam

Some of the slowest gained XP I have seen in a while. There are only a dozen vultures. They all drop far less than 1/2 the time (more like 1/5th the time). They have a minute to 5 minute respawn time. So, when others are grinding the same vultures you should expect this quest to be very sloooow.

All these buff quests are pretty awful, esp if you're horde. Loads of allies and they have a fp there with vendors. The area is over run and over subscribed for the amount of things you have to kill and collect. Bags are bursting and the run back to Stonard every time to empty gets old. And the drop rate is low for most items.

I picked up my agility sand after running around for ages trying to even find something to kill.

And if you weren't having enough fun, watch out for the "fel reaver" dragon!

Great for skinning mats tho

Here are the non-repeatable versions of the 5 quests from 血法師德拉吉亞 and 血法師萊諾雷:

In order to complete them all, you will need the following:

If you want to avoid the grind (and it's generally a long one) you can very often buy all the quest items on the auction house.
