"A boar's Vitality" is an easy quest to do, and you can do it over and over again. For example, the buff is very good for Blackwing Lair, and other high lvl end instances. The buff will disappear when you die, so don't waste it. In patch 1.11 the buff unfortunately got a nerf, it went from 50 stamina to 25, but the buff is still pretty good, and worth farming for.

The quest items do not require you to have the quest, nor do they bind when acquired, so you can buy/sell/trade the items that drop off of the mobs.

This quest is not repeatable per se. After completion, you’re able to do the quest named "Spirit of the Boar" (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/quest=2584) in it’s place, which is the same exact quest, except you get no XP as a reward, just the item..

On a side note, the reward item you get is Unique, so you can only have 1 in your inventory at a time, which limits its use & practicality quite a bit. I’ve also seen quite a few higher level players farming this quest, but most of them don't pay attention to us lower level players, so not much ganking occurs.

If you just want to complete all the quests once, this is what you need:

06x Blasted Boar Lung
06x Scorpok Pincer
11x Basilisk Brain
05x Snickerfang Jowl
14x Vulture Gizzard

Not really worth doing, the items rarely drop and the mobs do far more damage compared to average mobs their level.

All quests conntected with this one needs a MASSIVE drop increase rate, cause it just doesn't seem worth doing.

After 1 hour of killing the mobs, only 1 item of each quest has dropped and that is just unacceptable.

Quests Aborted....not worth the long bordem of grinding.

What Blizzard does to avoid making proper quests. :/

There are about 12 different mobs which drop these quest items, but I advise to take out these three:

Hellboar - drops Blasted Boar Lung. Most of them around: 51,54

Scorpok Stinger - drops Scorpok Pincer. Around 47,20

Redstone Crystalhide - drops Basilisk Brain. Around 60,41

All of these items have about 45% drop

There is no prereq for this quest beside being lvl 45 or above.

評論來自 Thottbot

Just south of Nethergard you can find a few lvl 49s... droprate on those are terrible tbh though.
You rly dont need to do this quest till a lil later, when you get some descent gear that needs enchants on legs and head...

I've killed about 100 ashmanes and havn't come across any boar lungs, can anyone tell me what the problem is?

評論來自 Thottbot

Hand in q at 50.14

評論來自 Thottbot

This quest doesn't takes so long time .. I killed 10-15 Ashmane boar's and it dropped 3 Blasted lungs.. and the respawn time is 4-6 min

評論來自 Thottbot

I found all items at a very high drop rate. this quest was cake. Just walk around the quest giver and you should find the mobs that drop the items easily.

評論來自 Thottbot

I had killed about 30 ashmane boars without a single drop, then i moved up to Hellboars and on my first kill, I got a drop. I saw Hellboars between the levels of 52-53, little higher lvl, but for me, also higher drop rate.

I was lookin at everyones comments on the flight to blasted lands, and was think "oh no im in for a long quest" then the first 3 boars i killed dropped one each, i was stoked

where exactly are the scorpoks?

評論來自 Thottbot

is the quest repeatable?

評論來自 Thottbot

who cares how easy it was just give co-ords and thats it

評論來自 Thottbot

How can this quest not be repeatable? The reward is used in a quest to get 100HP to head and that quest is repeatable so what are we supposed to do if we want to repeat the 100HP quest?

評論來自 Thottbot

NVM i just did the quest and i talked to the guy again and i took it again so yes, this quest is repeatable.

評論來自 Thottbot

Quest starts and ends at 51,14

評論來自 Thottbot

Boars and Basalisks are around 57.40 and a little east of that. The Scorpok Pincers are to the west of the Keep.

評論來自 Thottbot

Its not the ashmanes you gotta kill, they are called Hellboar, they are close to Dark Portal

評論來自 Thottbot

I dont care if its bloody easy or not JUST GIVE THE CORDS AND ACTUALLY HELP PEOPLE!

評論來自 Thottbot

Starving Snickerfang - 46.18
Scorpok Stinger - 46.18
Hellboar - 52.53

Hope this helps.

評論來自 Thottbot

Wrong quest, thats 'Snickerfang Jowls'

評論來自 Thottbot

The cords are 57,34 is where I got my brain off of a lvl 47 Redstone Basilisk, my lungs off a lvl 49 Ashmane Boar and 50,14 for my scorpok Pincher off of the lvl 46 Scorpok Stinger.

You need the Lung Juice Cocktail for the guest Libram of Constitution.

For the following quests:
A Boar's Vitality
Snickerfang Jowls
The Basilisk's Bite
The Decisive Striker
Vulture's Vigor

You will need a total of:
6 x Blasted Boar Lung
6 x Scorpok Pincer
11 x Basilisk Brain
5 x Snickerfang Jowl
14 x Vulture Gizzard

I found it easiest to collect them all before handing in.
