https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=23538 are better in almost every situation, and https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=28502 would be in any other situation. Green Fortress offers around the same avoidance and mitigation, and more stamina. If you want more threat gen, you get more from the SBV on vambraces.

got them on 2nd heroic kill from warlord kalithresh, imo better than the green ones from a quest in netherstorm with 42 on them, because of more armor, more agility and more defense, so all in all more damage reduction

and you don't need these 14 stamina, when you have 12,5k hp unbuffed ><

Considering the amount of 'quality' plate and tanking blue bracers out there, this is a small step above most if not all. The Agility makes it epic imo.

I think Burning Crusade got lost in what the meaning of EPICS really is on alot of the items.

Added to the list of items NOT deserving PURPLE status. Yeah this is no better then a blue.

Not much upgrade but still some upgrade. Considering there are not many good pre-raid tanking bracers in the game, this is still the best. The +18 agi gives u .75% dodge as well as crit and 36 more armor. So all the little things add up. The major downside is the effort to get it.

FFS if it's better than what u got the it's an upgrade. Bracer of the green fortress is better because it has 14 more stam. This is more like a fury worrior or ret paly gear.

Its not a bad epic, the agil gives atleast 0.6-0.8% dodge chance, which is good for any tank. I will prefer these over the ones from the quest from slab
