Нужен подходящий сэт под вара на трансмогрификацию. Только не предлагайте стормвиндского гварда(чар: вар- орк).
Или в кого нужно рерольнуться в БЭ/андеда/таурена/троля/гоблина, чтобы накидка со шмотом более-менее в одном стиле была.
Интересна и броня, и вепоны для трансмогрификации.
Из-за этой "легендарности" плаща- его приходится вырубать :(
Теперь весь шмот как-то контрастирует или идёт в разрез с этой накидкой

На момент пре-патча сияние накидки изменили и не в лучшую сторону. Теперь у моей дренейки сияющая грудь и не видно лица.

2016 год - анимация всё такая же испорченная.

Сегодня впервые получил накидку и был крайней разочарован испорченным эффектом сияния. Если раньше сияние окружало всего героя и выглядело как аура, то теперь это просто комок света, который торчит из живота/груди персонажа и закрывает вид накидки.

When you kill the Lich King with a player wearing Shadowmourne in the raid, you will get an additional item - Unsealed Chest. After bringing the chest to Darion he will open it up and let you bring the items back to their respective owners to get your rewards :

Reins of the Crimson Deathcharger - A brand new mount that looks like the Death Knight's class mount.
Muradin's Favor - A 10-minute Frost Dwarf transformation.
Jaina's Locket - A portal to Dalaran on a 1-hour cooldown, you finally have your own pocket mage!
Tabard of the Lightbringer - A tabard with a very shiny on-use effect.
Sylvanas' Music Box - A music box that plays Lament of the Highborne.

I've submitted a screenshot of a GM reply in-game of the following:

"The Sealed Chest item only drops as long as the person on the Shadowmourne quest line has 'The Lich King's Last Stand' in their quest log. Once they complete the quest, the Sealed Chest will no longer drop."

It's ONCE per Shadowmourne, NOT weekly. This will be a fairly rare item.

The "Not usable in arenas" should most likely be of the fact that no spell or ability with a cooldown higher than 8 min can be used in arenas at all :)

I thought that the Blood Knight Tabard was meant to mirror the Argus Tabard that Draenei get... also I think if you really want to you can do that on your pally and get it.

Non-draenei races cannot complete the quest chain for the Tabard of the Hand.

Surprised no one has mentioned this, but this is only one of four tabards that currently has an item level of 80. Of those four, this is the only one that doesn't come from PVP.

It is also only one of 3 tabards that has a "on-use" effect. The others being:
Argent Crusader's Tabard (on use teleport to argent crusade grounds)
Tabard of the Protector (on use "show how brave you are" - no longer available to players)

Our guild handled the matter just fine. Raidrolling the items, and the winner was asked if he wanted the item or not. Current/future shadowmourne wielders and previous winners of any of these items were not included in the rolls.

I was lucky enough to get the tabard ^^

Man, this tabard is like the only thing i want in life lol. if i were to get this tabard, i'd macro it into my paladins (Avenging Wrath) cooldown so that whenever horde see me in Winter grasp they will say "Oh no, run! It's the Light of Dawn of the Alliance, our only hope is retreat"...thats what will happen in my head, but in reality i'd probably draw too much attention to my self and get targeted by every horde in a 80 yards radius.

Something cool I noticed about this tabard. If you use it and log off for at least 30 minutes and log back in, you will have the buff for 5 minutes and then soon as it runs out you can use the tabard again for a total of 10 minutes of being shiny!

If you wanna have some fun with this tabard and you can transform into a wisp, for example with: Амулет-огонек Волшебная палочка - костюм огонька, you will become a shiny star/orb.

Tip: This is extremely good for guild photos.

This item should be given to all human and dwarven paladins when they receive their chargers like the Blood Knights.
According to WoWWiki "All Human and Dwarf paladin player characters join the Silver Hand upon completion of their class introduction quest."

I can confirm that the light effect does show when you change your chars form. I have tested it with Deviate fish, the Sandstone drake mount and several other looks on my DK. Submitting some screen shots to show it.

I have also seen a druid use it in all forms and it still shows the glow, glad I got my legendary finally finished :)

Added a photo of me in Sandstone drake form wearing the tabard :) So you can shapeshift and keep the effect

Edit: Adding another photo as the Obsidian Nightwing mount with tabard buff as well, will be up shortly :)

At this point these rewards really should be available to everyone, just let non str classes to complete the shadowmourne chain as well, it really wouldn't matter that much anymore.

If you already own any of the items that you purchased or were given to you, but you yourself are now fixing to complete the Shadowmourne quest, you have a problem. Four of the items and unique and therefore the quests to receive the items cannot be completed while you already own them.

Putting the items into your bank won't work, none of the items are vendorable for buyback later, and putting the tabard into void storage won't work because it's unique (I've not tested the tabard vendor yet).

Don't worry, there is another way! Thanks to Blizzard's newly released item restoration service, you can delete an item, finish the quest to receive the new item, mail it to an alt, and then use the restoration service to have your original returned to you via mail immediately. There is one catch, the item restoration service may only be used once every thirty days, so you cannot do it for all four items at once. Confirm the you have an item restoration available to you before you delete one of these very valuable items!

The fist shown on the Tabard isn't just the emblem of the Silver Hand, but it has some lore behind it.

The story of Tyr slipped among the human race, long ago. When the Vrykul abandoned them, they occasionally gathered around fire, reading scrolls telling of Ancient Heroes and the Civilization that made these creatures. One of those scrolls spoke of a great leader, a paragon of Order and Justice, who sacrificed his Right Hand to fight against an unfathomable evil. Although it was within the hero's power to fix his hand after the fighting had ended, he instead choose to replace it with a closed fist made out of the purest silver. In this way, the hero impressed those who followed him, that true order and justice can only be accomplished trough presonal sacrifice.

The Order of the Knights of the Silver Hand took their name and symbol from the myth of Tyr and his silver hand.

The city of Tyr's Hand was also named after Tyr.

This tabard is awesome and you can also do some tricks with it! here are some :

1) If you summon Омерзительный слизнюченыш you will also have a green light
2) If you are a warrior and use Ни шагу назад it will become a bit more brigher.
3) If you get cursed from some bosses (old content mostly example: Проклятие Гееннаса) while you use it it will turn purple (tested it at molten core bosses)
4) If you use the Aqua Jewel from Sahn TidehunterВодяной самоцвет (rare at Vale of eternal blossoms west of the mogu'shan palace) you will have a bright blue colour
5) If you use Связующий камень Кана (rare at Vale of Eternal Blossoms above the area "The Five sisters" at the camp shown on the map) or either Golganarr's Странный отполированный камень (he is a rare at the timeless isle) it will make the glow turn bright white
6) If you are also a shadow priest you get a dark purple glow
7) If you throw "Ружье" с тыквенной краской on someone while have used the tabard it will become orange colour
8) If you get the Кидание грязью debuff from the hozen rares in pandaria it takes a brown colour
9) If you get the Хмельная стрела debuff from the Stormstout Brewery dungeon from the Alements the glow becomes dark brew-ish colour
10) a) If you are at Shrine of the Seven Stars (or either Shrine of the two moons (ain't tried it at horde side but should work the same)) use the tabard and then use Осколок краеугольного камня while standing in one of the two big squares at the balcony you will become an orb made of light and you are visible by other players (only players that you are in a group with)
b) If you use Клятва хранителя огня first and then use Осколок краеугольного камня you will become a bright red sphere (also only players that are in a group with you can see you)
11) If you use Клятва хранителя огня or Курительница вечной агонии the glow will turn into a bright red light
12) If you use Гейзерное ружье Шадо-Пан on someone who have used the tabard then the yellow glow will become light blue (plus the user wet with the water splash :P)
13) If someone (or you) use Жаровня танцующего пламени and then you /dance while targeting it you will have a bright orange glow, plus you will be a hawt chick dancing (literally ^^)
14) If you use Аватара your glow will become light brown with yellow light lines around you
15) If you are a mage and you use Прилив сил while the tabard's used your glow will become dark blue
16) If you use Проклятый талисман while tabard's used you glow will instead become a pink aura with light lines around you
17) If you use the tabard and then Масло окаменения the glow will become a small tone darker but much more intense yellow
18) If you get into combat with Ал'табим Всевидящий and you use the tabard meanwhile when he will cast Предзнаменование on you, you will become completely black with a few light lines around you only
19) If you use the purple cauldron at Kun-lai summit at the isle of reckoning you will get Месиво из личинок. Using your tabard afterwards makes the light color a mix of deep pink and a bit of purple (side effect is that you almost constantly vomit and have a purple splashing pool at your feet)
20) If you combine Месиво из личинок with Связующий камень Кана the result will be a silver-ish colour
21) a) If you use the tabard and then Амулет-огонек you will be a floating light orb (Firedwarf's comment below so ain't getting credit for this one) b) If someone uses Отражающая призма on you or you use it on someone else with the form you can be like a wisp for 5 min and able to attack as well with tabard on and you will be a shiny aggressive orb :)
22) If you get Кровь могучего героя from the orbs at Icecrown Citadel you will have a very bright red colour
23) If you get the Руна мощи могу from the Scenario Кинжал во тьме and then use the tabard the glow will turn into a tirquaz colour on the inside and yellow light on the outside
24) If you're inside a Оскверненный кристалл каронита's range and get affected by Каронитовое влияние the tabard's glow will turn a bit darker with a small tainted green colour as well
25) If you use Вырвавшаяся мания you will have a bright warm orange colour
26) If you use Нечестивый дар повелителя демонов you will be covered by a deep blue colour and only have a few orange shine around you
27) If you are affected by Sindragosa's Ледяное дыхание and you use the tabard the color will turn into a icy white with a bit of yellow light around you|
28) If you are at Talador specifically where you're under the effect of Анго'рошская мощь your character become white transparent and the tabard's glow is white at the center with yellow light around you
29) If you get affected by Бремя короны at Blackwing Descent your tabard's glow will turn into an intense orange colour
30) If u get affected by Проклятие Изувеченной Длани at Shattered Halls your tabard's glow will turn into red-ish orange-ish colour

32) If you use Страшная рожа огра you will turn spectral/ghost-ish and your tabard's glow will turn into an icy/white
33) If you get affected by Vile Packhunter's Пылающая пасть your tabard's glow will turn into a bright fel green colour
34) If you use Сбруя Шерстелобика your tabard's glow will briefly become red coloured
35) If you drinkПризрачный грог you will have the Призрачный грог buff. Using the tabard after you drank the Призрачный грог your tabard's glow will turn into a bright spectral white colour
36) If you get hit by Клейкий яд your tabard's glow will turn into a bright green colour
37) If you get affected by Страдание your tabard's glow will turn into a black/void colour with a few light waves around you

(Since 6.0.2. i don't know if all of these ideas i wrote still count so i am sorry if some of them no longer work and i would be really thankful if someone could inform me incase something like that occurs)

The effect of the tabard has been changed as noted by other comments in early WoD. This was a universal change that they made to the holy casting graphics, and as a result ended up changing the tabard as well. I would hope they can change it back, but the change is universal because if anyone remembers the old +81 healing spell in BC that had its graphic changed (Лечение I#screenshots:id=32708 for reference) I had that enchant on a mace for my priest that i never updated, and it had that same graphic up until WoD hit. If the weapon was enchanted before the enchant was changed after BC, the graphic stayed the same, and I loved hoping onto my priest to remember the good old days. When I logged onto him after WoD, I was severely dissapointed that that too has changed to look like the new holy casting spell. (sorry if this is a little confusing hard for me to explain it for some reason) So I really hope they change it back, but if they do they will have to introduce seperate coding for the tabard as it seems they used the same coding for every item/spell that used that graphic.

I often Дупликатор Манашторма + Сфера сверхобезьяны + Горенское облачение + Сжиматель мира + Гербовая накидка Светоносного at the begining of a BG. The order has a reason for most of it...Pic here

If you use Сфера сверхобезьяны first before another xform item, the purple sphere remains arround you. So if I use Горенское облачение after it, I'll be a goren in a purple sphere...

Even better, you can actually use Дупликатор Манашторма before any other xform/xform combo, and you'll still randomly blurt out Manastorm's lines while in combat, even though you have another shape...

I apply Сжиматель мира and Гербовая накидка Светоносного at the end while I'm sure Сжиматель мира can be used prior to anything else for the same effect. Not sure about Гербовая накидка Светоносного though...

With the new transmog system in Legion, blizzard will be making shirts and tabards account-wide aswell, I'm not sure if every single tabard/shirt is going to be but just to be sure, I would not recommend buying this right now since it's value will drop significantly if this indeed does become account-wide. This goes for almost all BoE transmog items.

Just tested in this in the Legion prepatch PTR and it seems like you are able to transmog this tabard account wide HOWEVER you do not get the on-use effect assosiated with the tabard when you transmog it, you are only able to use the animation on the character that equipped it and unlocked the transmog.

PSA: If you've completed a Shadowmourne but sold the tabard, you will have this tabard in your appearances! I made 2 Shadowmournes and sold both, yet I have the tabard in my appearances. A guildie let me know about this since I'm about to complete a 3rd one, so now I'll have another to sell instead of waste!

Not sure if it's been noticed or mentioned yet, but completing The Lightbringer's Redemption seems to give you the appearance for transmogging in the Legion Pre-patch.

I completed the quest and unlocked it and could transmog tabards to look like it even when I traded it to a friend, though it did NOT unlock the appearance for him.

EDIT: I sold the Tabard finally and when I did I still have the appearance so it's now definitely tied to the quest which rewards it not just having it in your inventory.

Just got it today on my zandalari paladin. I thought it would be nice to give some updates. First the on use effect only works if you are wearing it, not if it is merely transmogged. Second it does work if you transmog out of it, as in you have it equipped but have it transmogged as empty. Third, the visual effect is not as pronounced as it is in many of the pictures. I will try to upload a picture to back this up. The buff lasts for 5 minutes, and has a 30 minute cooldown. I think thats everything worth mentioning.
