Previous Quest: The Power of the Maw.

You will move forward and free the Captured Forsworn. Coordinates of the ones I found are below (there are likely more scattered around). The quest turn in will be Kyrian Protector who will be following you around so no specific spot.

Note: Whatever your Eye of the Jailer level is for the day it will stay that way, potentially making the quest harder.

This will take you to the next quest Her Will, Inflicted.

This is a very difficult pair of quests because the area is full of elites. Not only that, the elites are often close to the captured foresworn meaning that careful movement is not an option. Be careful here!

Quest Name:	Start and description
1 On Lysonia's Trail	Quest start from Polemarch Adrestes at Elysian Hold in Bastion 55 42. Meet Kleia outside the Temple of Humility 61 43.
2 Aerial Reconnaissance	Speak with Kleia to move to next location.
3 Sacred Scrolls of Humility	Pick up 5 Sacred Scroll from Sacred Scroll most on ground or drop from Prideful Hoplite. This quest do together with Succumbing to Pride and Compassion, Blade of Humility.
4 Succumbing to Pride	Free 5 Burdened Aspirant by stopping Forsworn rituals.
5 Compassion, Blade of Humility	Pick up this quest from Radiant Sword 64 45. Charge Compassion by killing manifestations ( Congealed Pride and Crippling Pride ) . After finishing quest You will be able to use Condolent Assault ( extra bar ) to the end of story line and Radiant Sword will fight on your side.
6 Distorted by the Maw	Destroy 3 Anima Collector location: 65 43, 67 40 and 68 44. Do this quest together with Fallen to Their Vices
7 Fallen to Their Vices	Slay 15 Forsworn forces. Return quests to Kleia 68 41.
8 Lysonia's Plan	Go 69 40 and listen to the conversation.
9 The Power of the Maw	Go to Oribos and speak with Kleia 45 51 2ns floor then jump to Maw and move to 33 55

13 Time to Reflect	Speak with Kleia You will be move to Waystone to Oribos use it then return to Polemarch Adrestes in Elysian Hold.
14 A Touch of Humility	Speak with Polemarch Adrestes 45 57 then will be animation. After this quest story line is finish and you will get 1 Renown.

OK so yeah, as of this posting this quest is straight busted. It's not formally bugged, it's just... unreasonable. The design reasoning is probably "you have the floating sword," but it's not enough. Indeed, Kleia and the sword just make it impossible to pull carefully. This quest asks too much in the way of elite mob density and I expect it to get fixed. As a self healing tank spec I can't survive the pulls that just... happen as a matter of pulling anything to get at the clickables. This is one of those moments where I think of non-pet pure DPS specs and just wish them luck. Ended up death zerging with the help of Ox statue. Will have to just... start any stygia from scratch. Thankfully my Kyrian is an alt. I couldn't imagine doing this quest in its current form with any sense of care for having Stygia.

It feels like there are several different development teams working in silos at Blizzard - most of them are doing a great job creating fun and compelling quests, and there is one team with a goal of making players miserable. This quest is definitely from that latter team.

I've just done this quest as a Windwalker Monk and it was quite painful.
Fair warning to anyone starting this; there are a lot of elites.
You don't have to kill the elites for the quests, but it's difficult to pull carefully because Kleia will slam aoe everywhere like a mad woman and pull multiple groups.
If she takes too much damage, she will be "knocked out" while she heals up and - congrats - now you have aggro!
I died twice and had to recollect stygia. When I phased into the next quest in the chain, then phased back out after, an elite was stood waiting to kick my behind.
Tried to use Paralysis, "evade". Amazing xD
I understand that not everything is supposed to be easy, but everything up to this has been practically a cakewalk; this was quite the step up in difficulty all of a sudden.
The only good thing for this alt of mine was that the Exposed Anima debuff is removed while on the quests as I haven't unlocked Perdition Hold on this one.
If I'd had that debuff as well?
No chance.

I have seen a lot of badly designed quests in all the time I've played this game. But I think this is the first real utter garbage I've seen.

I did this on a rogue and what a complete mess. The sword and worthless idiot Kleia pulled me out of stealth I don't know how many times. I don't know what the garbage quest designers were thinking, maybe they thought the sword was more powerful than it was. Or maybe they just don't think.

I honestly can't imagine doing this on a class that can't stealth. I don't know how many times I died or how much stygia I lost.

And of course I had to also have my Eye of the Jailer issues too, since you'll be questing in here (more proof these designers don't think).

The only advice I could give is try and do it at a time where people are doing other quests in here and hope they can clear some of the area out. And hunt further in back and try and find the Forsworn to rescue that don't have 5 mobs standing around them.

Honestly, this quest is complete garbage.

edit: I have done this terrible quest on several toons now. I've found one thing that helps, look for the weapon racks and get the weapons on them Mawforged Weapons Runic Shield (just an example, there may be more types). You can get multiple types and they actually do damage or heal you. So, ironically, get the weapons from the weapons rack and they will help (unlike the sword that's following you around for this quest).

Do I need to unlock perdition hold for this? The quest shows up on my map. When I go there, the girl and the sword spawn and follow me, but they offer no quest to me.

I honestly can't tell if this quest is bugged or not well designed.

Kleia says out loud that we need to fly over some gate but she doesn't offer that option till we get inside. DO NOT use that option once you're past the gate. She picked me up and dropped me right back at the entrance.

I have no idea what they were trying to go for with this quest but obviously being enjoyable is not one of them. I'm soloing as a BM Hunter and the clustering/patrolling of the NPC's makes pulling dangerous. Lost of a lot of Stygia to this place. I would say avoid until it's fixed but I am not sure when (if ever) that'll happen since I'm guessing it's been messed up since launch.

This quest is meant to be done while gearing, ding 60 do the campaign. So we are meant to pull multiple elites due to fear and tight bunching in 165 gear which is what I had with campaign gear, pvp trinkets and the stuff I'd dinged in? I'm not a horrid player but this quest which I've done I think three times now is unrealistic, except for being able to vanish/feign death/endlessly heal you are doomed. I don't mind dying when I mess up, when I die because a quest is this poorly designed, I do mind. Thanks bliz I'm sure everyone else enjoyed it just as much as I did (and in case you're a bit slow, that's sarcasm)

The weapon racks do help a lot and I noticed at the end she mentions "stealth" was it meant to be one of those stealth things we sometimes get and someone forgot? Somehow that wouldn't be a big shock to find out they only read part of it and designed what they thought they were supposed to.

This was the last of the covenant campaigns that I've been doing so I've heard all the stories, so I've gone thru all the others to the end. Playing an alt I don't play as much so gearing up along the way.

All I can say, hands down, the double perdition hold campaign quests are the purest $%^&e quests of this expansion. Screaming in anger, hubbie said just don't do them, but I want to see the whole story. Just AWFUL, fricking awful. Esp with the useless companion who butt pulls everything. And then you have to run the gauntlet to get back to your body and you're not even a spirit! Got to fight them all over again.

If you don't have stealth blow your allowance on invisibility pots (40 is a nice number). Find the easiest captives to release; no elites, low numbers. Sadly you will not find 5 reasonable ones. Prepare to die. A lot. Once this is done the 15 kill quest is an easy finish. .

Use up all your Stygia because you will lose it all during this quest as you will die a lot.
This quest is so annoying it makes you want to throw your PC out of the window.

This quest is an absolute joke.

As a mediocre-ly geared mage (iLvl 153) who doesn't know their way around Perdition Hold, I think this is quite literally the worst quest in this entire Kyrian campaign. Once you step foot through them gates it's just chaos - there are way too many elites, and although they are killable with one or two cooldowns (for me its ususally orb+blizz and sometimes mirror image), it's a nightmare when you encounter one literally every minute.

On top of that, in some areas the density of the normal guys is ridiculous. Turning left after going through the gates, there's an inquisitor elite I tried to kill, which shouldn't have been so bad. But kind of to the left of that was quite literally about 5 or 6 guards, whom all decided to join in the fight as that f**cking sword and Kleia have larger 'detection radiuses' for lack of a better description but not higher aggro. So they'd all be pulled in by them two but after a couple seconds start attacking me. Each auto attack of theirs can take up to 5% health off, and with a bunch of them doing that all at once it's pretty impossible. Kleia isn't as bad as she takes aggro most of the time, but it's usually on just one enemy at a time, and when her health gets too low she stops attacking for a bit which makes them attack me.

Also as I can't mount up in the Maw just yet, I can't repair. Which is s**t. Currently at about 50g repair bill.

I've noticed from some other comments that Kleia and the sword pull them out of stealth too, which in theory would be the best viable thing to do to avoid them all but doesn't work.

Right now I've killed 15 of them for the quest and have only freed one Foresworn. This quest needs fixing asap, but I doubt it will because many players and likely Blizz itself already think it's 'old content' since Korthia has been released now.

I feel really strongly that whoever implemented this quest forgot to ensure it was phased to be separate from the regular Maw questing zone. Or it simply wasn't tested properly and the devs didn't realise that the sword just isn't strong enough to allow you to reach the Captured Forsworn without great difficulty.

A truly horrible designed quest, which speaks of many of the campaign quests that thrust you into the Maw and the overall sense that the Devs really don't play their own game.

Given that when you'll be doing this quest your character is likely still using levelling gear or aren't a tanking class, you'll suffer alot, dying multiple times. I hate to think what this is like on more squishier classes that don't have the option for a pet.

Tightly packed mobs that aggro easy, multiple elite mobs packed in between "normal" mobs.

The only thing that might help between all the deaths is that you can get a key that unlocks weapons racks in the area, this adds 3 weapons that do help (but you'll still due).

This quest just personifies why I hate the Maw and everything about it from a design POV, its no wonder I've avoided it as much as possible since SL was launched (still yet to max Ve'nari out)

This is yet another terrible quest in the Kyrian pantheon of terrible quests set in The Maw, also a place of many, many terrible quests.

Best thing to do here is probably wait until another expansion or two have been launched so that your toons have a high enough ilvl to be able to defeat the elites and their many friends and click on the things you need to rescue without dying multiple times and losing all your stygia. It really is that bad.

9.2 and this quest hasn't improved one bit. Get ready to handle one to two elite mobs with upwards of five or more trash mobs trying to free each person. Two of them were shoved in a small building guarded by two elites, one who like to chain terror so you get to watch your health bar collapse being helpless. If you can CC one you might be able to pull this off, but I found it to be a little too challenging being under geared.

I got one Forsworn or two before trying a different strategy. There is a gate on the south eastern portion of Perdition hold. The pulls are must better spaced and manageable. Time the patrols, use the weapon unlocks you can find there across the way from the gate where you came in. I cleared a portion of the path upwards and then doubled back to reapply the buff before pressing into the large main center of the Hold.

By that point, I had all the Forsworn I needed and was in a good position for the next part of the quest. Watch your pulls on either side of the walkway through the center. There is a giant patrolling ahead, watch his pattern and once clear make a break for the bridge on the right (the northwest). There's one regular guard at that one and a patrol that will be coming from across the bridge. The other bridge has elites and is a hot mess.

This quest is incredibly difficult for no reason.

1. If the intended way for the quest to be done is using the area button (the blue sword in this case) why do you have Elite mobs standing right next to the quest objectives? On top of that, there are actually way too many enemies in the quest area.

2. When you finally get through this monstrosity of a quest you are expected to turn in the quest outside of the area, but guess what? They place a 61+ Elite literally right next to the turn in and at this point you don't have access to the blue sword area button. So you just die.

This quest seriously needs looked at without a doubt. We don't want an "easy" quest but this quest is actually broken.
