Around the room, you will see several dozen neutral Dappled Moth.
No special abilities of note. Just kill them as you're doing the other quests in The Scrollkeeper's Sanctum.

Does anyone know of a way to get back to this area if you hearth out?

favrebites If you end up leaving the Temple of the Jade Serpent, talk to Elder Sage Wind-Yi and you can be teleported back into the quest area.

moths are easy enough to fight...as a feral druid (because the moths are flying up high) i would recommend shooting them with wrath then changing into whatever form you have (bear or cat) makes it a little easier then trying to either jump or wait for them to come down low :)

As a warrior, I thought it'd be hard to get most of the moths because many of them are flying high out of our range of charge. Even using heroic throw is a pain to wait for its cd. Then I remembered we still had our throw ability, since our bows got taken away. So to other fellow warriors use that throw ability!
