To get The Land Beneath you have to complete Return to Viridia starting from Hidden Legacies.

If you log into 10.1 and do not get this quest from the splash screen you have to follow the Embers of Neltharion storyline in the Forgotten Reach until you complete 1/7 "A Creche Divided" then you will get a message saying "Continue the campaign by accepting the quest "The Land Beneath" in Valdrakken. You can then go up to the top of The Sea of the Aspects and talk to Hadexian to accept "The Land Beneath" and start the new 10.1 zone. Hope that helps some folks!

At the moment there doesn't seem to be a skip for alts, but you can just fly in and pick up flight points, do WQs and other stuff once you've done it with the main.

I did the skips on an alt that just hit 70 to set up the Forbidden Reach, and it immediately popped this quest, but when I got back to Valdrakken Ebyssian was labled "Unknown" and nothing happened when I tried to turn in the quest.

Relogging fixed it.

As an alt who did SOME of the FR quests, you might instead get the next quest in line (News from Beneath) from Ebyssian next to Scalecommander Emberthal on Dragonskull Island, forbidden reach.

Edit to add: Because apparently it doesn't count as completing the Storyline unless you also tell the leader of the Healing Wings just how bad this all has gotten.

If your on an alt, and skip the Forbidden Reach storyline, and get teleported to the Seat of the Aspects but didn't/can't get the quest "The Land Beneath", you may have to go back to Forbidden reach and get News From Beneath from Ebyssian at on Dragon Skull Island (Northeast on the Forbidden Reach map). Once there, accept the quest News From Beneath, and then select the option to go back together and it will teleport your back to The Seat of the Aspects to complete the quest. You can then start A Crack in the World, watch the cinematic, and continuing to Where the Flames Fell. Essentially you're on the track after the "Land Beneath." Not sure why, but this is an alternate route to go on if you don't see "The Land Beneath" after skipping the forbidden Reach questline.

anyone have any idea why this isn't showing up for me? On a boosted toon and wanted to unlock pathfinder, i did the opening quests up to a creche divided, and he's still not handing out the quest, not sure what i'm doing wrong

Previous, logically: its followup, Return to Viridia, which completes the 10.0.7 The Forbidden Reach chapter (A Creche Divided, part of Embers of Neltharion)
An alternative to this: News From Beneath in The Forbidden Reach, for people who are doing it all now
This one is for people who are already in Valdrakken, either because they completed the Forbidden Reach quests before 10.1 or because they abandoned ths.
Shockingly you can do both Beneaths, you just can't have them at the same time.

i CANNOT believe that a game THAT I AM PAYING MONTHLY FOR, BUYING THE EXPANSION AND WHAT NOT, AND THEY STILL HAVE A BUGGED !@#$% QUEST SINCE 10.1 ITS I N S A N E, I DID EVERYTHING, DID ALL THE QUESTS, FLEW TO FORBIDDEN REACH FOR VIRIDIAN QUEST, CHECKED ALL OF THE QUEST COMPLETIONS AND STILL NOTHING.

When doing this on an alt, be sure to go through Healing Wings Envoy and pick up Hidden Legacies, you should have two skips and then be automatically ported back to the seat of the aspects, you will now have this quest available from Hadexian.

The whole questline (from A Creche Divided to Breaking Ground) begins from Kurazidaia at the top of The Seat of the Aspects.

Kurazidaia gives the first quest Hidden Legacies of the questline.
Remember to complete BOTH A Creche Divided, and then Return to Viridia after as well to get credit for the Embers of Neltharion -achievement.
Remember to pick News From Beneath from Ebyssian, but don't take the fast travel teleportation from Ebyssian before completing previous both quests first!

❗ Did you do the quest skips, and now you're at the top of The Seat of Aspects next to Ebyssian, and he isn't offering the next quest?

Make sure to check if Scalecommander Emberthal/Hadexian is offering the quest The Land Beneath at the top of The Seat of Aspects, which leads to A Crack in the World

If for some reason Hadexian isn't offering the quest, you have to head back to 76.6 39.0 at The Forbidden Reach, and you should find Ebyssian offering the quest News From Beneath , and luckily he also offers fast travel teleportation back to Valdrakken. Completing this should lead you to the quest A Crack in the World as well.

For some reason I didn't have access to Zaralek on an alt. I did the Forbidden Reach skip but still couldn't find this questline. Turns out that doing the Forbidden Reach skip somehow removed the blockage in the tunnel without doing any other quests.

Description

I heard word you were aiding the green dragonflight, <name>. I bring word from Ebyssian. The Life-Binder has news of the Incarnates, and she requests our presence at the Seat of the Aspects. The black dragonflight will await you there. I will move on ahead to continue tracking our foe.
