/way 70.17 49.79 -- The provided coordinates are a safe spot to avoid aggroing the many big Untethered Rampager patrolling the area.

Urmag casts the following abilities or spells:

Chomp -- his spam ability inflicts Physical damage.
Shadow Bite -- (non-interrupt) Inflicts Shadow damage and leaves a damage over time effect.
Subterranean Eruption -- Move away from the large AOE area

Part of the Remnants of a Shattered World achievement.

I will divide the rare elites required to complete the Remnants of a Shattered World achievement into three categories: Normal mode, Phase Diving mode, and Warrant. All rare elites reward Valorstones x 5, Weathered Ethereal Crest x 4 (except bosses -- which drop Carved Ethereal Crests x 3 instead), and Warband's reputation with the K'aresh Trust by 15. Some drop Warband catch-up gear iLevel 655 (1/8).

NORMAL MODE

Heka'tamos	/way 75.24 30.91	You must click 4 items around The Oasis to obtain buffs. The buffs allow you to interact with the Brazier of Elemental Union. The buffs have a 3-minute duration. If one expires, you have to go back and collect the buff again. You can't interact with the Brazier without all the buffs. /way 72.83 31.27 -- Dewminder /way 72.04 30.72 -- Spectral Lantern /way 71.80 34.62 -- Earthy Succulent /way 75.58 33.43 -- Windcatcher /way 75.40 30.28 -- Brazier of Elemental Union /way 75.24 30.91 -- Where Heka'tamos spawns
"Chowdar"	/way 71.99 81.89	Patrols from /way 71.99 81.89 to 81.74 74.27 in the snowy outskirts of Tazavesh. Reward: Chowdar's Favorite Ribbon.

PHASE DIVING MODE

Revenant of the Wasteland	/way 50.34 64.80	Casts Soul Impale, several AOE blasts in a straight line, and Spirit Siphon, which does Shadow damage and heals him (interrupt).
Morgil the Netherspawn	/way 55.92 51.05	He moves around but mostly in the same spot. Casts Shadow Bite and Burrowing Eruption.
Shadowhowl	/way 54.07 49.28	He patrols a small area -- the icy purple ground around the Archival Assault delve. He casts Wild Charge and Shadow Breath.
Maw of the Sands	/way 54.38 54.41	Recommended to engage it in a group and/or to use any of these consumables depending on your needs. Check your bags: If you need speed to avoid the large AOE pools, click Deployable Wind-Wrangling Spire. If you need healing, click Deployable Recovery Keg. If you need DPS, Deployable Battle Supplies. Maw casts Volatile Spittle followed by Volatile Outburst. When he casts Volatile Outburst, you should run away so that the pools do not harm you while you damage Maw in close range. Move away when he casts Gluttonous Eruption. Drops Valorstones x 10 and Carved Ethereal Crest x 3. Note: Maw of the Sands can be seen by all players on the map.
Xarran the Binder	/way 65.20 49.85	Found south of the Lunnall River bridge and the Phase Conduit. Xarran casts Entropic Mist (interruptable but spams it 2-3 times) and Voidbinder's Mastery (non-interruptible).
Urmag	/way 70.17 49.79	The provided coordinates are a safe spot to avoid aggroing the many big Untethered Rampager patrolling the area. Urmag casts Chomp and Shadow Bite (non-interrupt). Move away from the large AOE area of Subterranean Eruption.
Sha'ryth the Cursed	/way 73.60 55.31	The provided coordinates are the spot to pull Sha'ryth. The rare elite patrols in a circle, flying high in the air. The coordinates are on high ground, which allows it to be pulled. I recommend to fight him with your back facing the mountain wall -- because Sha'ryth casts Shadowcurse Buffet (non-interrupt) which pushes you away. Afterwards, it casts Shadow Pulse (non-interrupt).
Stalker of the Wastes	/way 76.72 42.12	The stalker casts Warp to teleport behind you, Warped Bite (interruptible), and Void Breath (non-interruptible).
Korgorath the Ravager	/way 65.52 44.18	If Korgorath is dead, it will respawn around the provided coordinates. She patrols The Tempest Fields (far southwest of The Oasis) from that spot all the way up the frozen river to /way 67.76 39.80 -- she casts Void Slice (non-interrupt) and Gravity Shatter (non-interrupt). Move away from the large Gravity Shatter AOE before impact. You should interrupt Voidcall to prevent her from summoning a swarm of three Void Creeper pets.
Sthaarbs	/way 75.84 32.89	To get up there high in the sky, go to /way 75.99 34.48 -- then walk upstairs to /way 75.84 32.89 where you find a Broker Waygate. On your lower-third screen, you will see a new spell icon: Phase Warp. Click Phase Warp to be transported high in the sky on top of a floating platform. You will notice each floating platform has two circles. These are to jump to the next platform. Sthaarbs casts Mindblast Beam -- which can be deadly to nearby players as it shoots out 4 orbs that knockback players off the platform. This can't be interrupted or avoided on the target and does damage over time and slows movement. Sthaarbs also casts another damage over time spell named Lingering Curse (non-interrupt). Also Repulsive Gaze (non-interrupt)... all players must leave the platform before the channeled spell is completed as it pushes all players off the targeted platform. I soloed him as a Paladin by moving from platform to platform nonstop and casting as I moved. Sometimes he is not able to catch up and I attack behind him. He drops Carved Ethereal Crest x 3 and Valorstones x 10. Sthaarbs can drop a weekly cache named Wriggling Pinnacle Cache -- which may drop Restored Coffer Key, Carved Ethereal Crest x 15, a pet (Veridian Thorntail), 1149 Gold, and a random upgraded gear (mine contained Wastelander's Gilded Signet iLevel 671, Veteran: 2/8). Note: Everyone can see Sthaarbs on the map when he spawns.
Prototype Mk-V	/way 46.21 24.27	He casts only non-interrupt spells: Dazing Gauntlet, which slows your movement; Crushing Stomp; and Corespark Impale -- avoid this one, which casts multiple AOE in a straight line.
Ixthar the Unblinking	/way 63.70 43.69	The provided coordinate is where he stops and patrols all the way up the icy river to the northeast. Ixthar can be seen on the map by all players with a silver icon. Ixthar casts Shadow Gaze (Interrupt), Petrification Curse (you should jump to remove the curse), and Behold!. Ixthar is part of the Ixthar's Legacy achievement, too. Drops Valorstones x 10, Carved Ethereal Crest x 3, and a chance to drop Binds to Warband until equipped trinket named Miniature Reshii Sandgarden (iLevel 655 Adventurer: 1/8).
Orith the Dreadful	/way 52.75 20.64	Orith can be seen by all players with a silver icon on the map. Sometimes he flies high in the sky, but eventually lands and stays there a while at the provided coordinates. His respawn is long in terms of hours and shares a respawn with the other 2 Rare Elites that spawn in different floating isles of K'aresh. Only found in Phase Diving. Orith spams Void Spittle (interrupt), Dark Sting (non-interrupt), which should be avoided before it lands on the ground. It leaves behind a dark pool that slows your movement. You should move away and let Orith come to you. Shortly after, she casts Brood Dreadcall, which spawns 4 Dread Mite minions. You should move and attack at the same time so that only one out of four are hitting you at a given time, but near Orith so that she gets hit by your AOE as well. Drops Valorstones x 10 and Carved Ethereal Crest x 3.

WARRANT

Grubber	/way 71.24 57.02	This rare elite requires a long questline that unlocks the weekly Warrant feature. Talk to Constable Zo'ardaz at /way 48.70 57.70 in Tazavesh (enter coordinates while inside the city). He starts the quest titled "A Key Threat." Once the quest is accepted, you will see a new quest pop up at /way 48.66 58.59 -- there are 6 posters on the cart next to Constable Zo'ardaz. The quest is named: "Warrant: Grubber." The quest rewards the Grubber Lure. This quest requires you to collect 3 items: Basket of Zo'kita Fruit, Stolen Veilshard, and Flavorful Scraps. This is a complex quest because each item is, in turn, rewarded by completing 3 separate daily quests: Basket of Zo'kita Fruit, A Dozen Veilshards, and Flavorful Scraps. Once completed, use the Grubber Lure at /way 71.24 57.02 to summon Grubber. Click the Grubber Lure in your bag to start the quest: Eliminate Grubber. Accept the quest. This quest rewards The K'aresh Trust Commendation x 400 (reputation) and an Ethereal Strands (currency used to upgrade your Reshii Wraps with Hashim at /way 50.33 36.33 in K'aresh). Place the lure to summon Grubber. It spams Rocky Spittle (non-interrupt), then casts Corrosive Spittle. Drops Valorstones x 10 and Carved Ethereal Crest x 3.
Arcana-Monger So'zer	(TBD)	This is likely the longest to find as the rare elite is time-gated behind the Warrant questline that starts with Constable Zo'ardaz (quest: Warrant: Grubber). After completing the questline, which also unlocks access to Grubber, you are time-gated behind the weekly quest lockout and RNG because there are 6 possible Warrants but only one available per week: Warrant: Arcana-Monger So'zer, Warrant: Grubber, Warrant: Shatterpulse, Warrant: Xy'vox the Twisted, Warrant: Purple Peat, and Warrant: Hollowbane.

I am a Beastmaster Hunter and I could not hit this mob with anything other than frost and tar trap. I kept getting the message "Your vision is obscured." My pets could hit it, but only with the basic pet attack. I tried feigning death, running away until i couldnt see it then going back, but nothing worked. So, I tried leaving phase dive and coming back only to discover a mage was able to hit it just fine and killed it in front of me. This was more than a bit upsetting. I have no idea why I couldnt hit this mob no matter what and nobody seems to know why either

I experimented a bit and discovered, on occasion, Bursting Shot and Cobra Shot would hit it. Between that, the ethereal reaping cape, and my pets basic attacks, it took 8 minutes to kill this thing. It dropped 15 rep, 5 valorstones, 3 basically beef, and a gray item called Jaw with Barbed Teeth

Going to risk being downvoted to The Maw, but got it first try.

To note this rare has like 400 health, if you want it you might have to camp its spawn or hope someone lists a group, it won't live that long considering:

There are no FP's or anything close by
It has low health
No flying in the phase shard

Get into the shard, go near its spawn and then either camp or look for a group if someone is kind enough to list it.

But these rares do seem to have a higher drop rate on the mounts.

I had this happen a few times now:

If you get the bug where you can't attack him, it is because the rare is too close to someone fighting the world boss, you'll need to pull it away or wait for the world boss to die.

You CAN farm it with different character on the same day. I got Pearlescent Krolusk with my 5th alt.

The drop rate for this mount appears to be pretty good. Got it on my 3rd try, have heard others say it took under 5

Due to this rare's proximity to the world boss, it can often be unattackable bc its obscured. Yes, some abilities/pets can counter this, but do yourself a favor and get out of the phase completely, then fly to the center conduit area @ Lunall River. Phase in here. Don't phase in where the special assault is. When you come from the East, you pick up the world boss obscurity which lingers far past him. If you come from the west, you can get to Urmag without ever encountering the obscurity.

Edit: Just wanted to add that the reason i specifically say to get out of the phase and go to Lunall River is bc for some reason, once you get into obscured vision radius, it's not as as simple as walking like 2 feet back to safe territory. You have to move like 100 meters away to drop obscurity, but when you come from the west it's easy to encounter urmag without ever being obscured.

As others have said, approximately 10-20 minute respawn time and there are some targeting issues when done too close to the world boss.

Regardless of how you entered Phase Diving, I've found that just by pulling him away from the world boss you're then able to attack him.

if your having trouble targeting the rare because of the vision bug, put a target dummy toy if you have one next to it and aoe them, it will fix the bug and you can attack the rare. gl <3

I got mine this morning have been farming it on 2 alts since release of K'Aresh and since yesterday on 3 alts. This morning it dropped on my 2nd try of the day.

For those having issues with Obscured - pull him around the piece of Eco Dome beside where he spawns. It blocks the LOS for the boss debuff and allows you to hit him. He doesn't go far, can pretty much kill him behind that without an issue, even with the boss up. (about 70.38, 51.46). You may get the aggro from the pat Devourer that comes through there, but honestly I just hugged the wall and didn't aggro it at all.
