I'm rather curious to know if the "Craft-Upgraded" and "Mythic+" versions of the tier set will come with their own tints.
Makes so much sense to reward players for raiding still, while also not making it raid or die. Holds true to rewarding players for doing multiple forms of content. I too hope mythic plus gets it’s own color of tier sets, which could unlock like pvp sets visually via mythic plus rating.
Just hoping we can just come back in a few months and knock out most of the grind in a week, instead of being forced to play each day for a month.
"Double legendary will be super impactful to your character!" You forgot to add - "except for mages, y'alls cov legos suck balls."
I don't hate this system but I foresee the same issues as Korthia in the fact that this will be hell for alts. Unless everything is account wide, we will be forced to do the same content over and over again on any alts. Just like Korthia which they realized was a huge mistake and changed it months later. And I have 6 alts. So fml
9.1.5 was a big pfffh. 9.2 is a real step towards saving the game!
If these new systems (wow, another system... 😑) Are not infinitely farmable, that is absolutely something to complain about. Timegating is a very out of date method that needs to be purged from every MMO.
Oh boy. They didn't learn. It's almost like we told them for 2 patches that tying player power to things to force us to do them is not what we want and actually in fact causes us to extremely dislike the content we feel is being forced on us.
"the ability to turn any item, that you get, that is on an appropriate item level and an upgradable item, into a class set"so essentially you will still not have Raid ilevel tier set from m+ unless you raid? Would love to see M+ finally giving raid-equal ilevel.
I can only hope it’s not gonna be a month long grind for 1 item.
Basically it sounds like they're adding the "build a corrupted item" mechanics to season 3 gear. Weird to think something positive came from that shyte-show of corruptions (mind you my DK LOOOOOOOOVED his Twilight Devastation, but it was a seriously borked system).
well i almost expect it to be like rank 6 upgradeable korthia gear available after 4 months of normal play or getting a chance of the same thing in the first raid week. While the unlucky once don't get either because random chance on random thing
The title of this article should be "Why you're forced to do Zereth Mortis..." not why you'd want to. I do PvE content alongside PvP, but for strictly PvP players this means they are Forced to do Zereth Mortis to get strong power bonuses that will be required to compete, and at the same time they're giving preferential treatment to the raiders when the system should be equal. Alternatively forcing non-raiders to raid at the start of the patch. And by this wording we can already tell it's gonna be horribly time-gated and/or grindy. So no real improvements to the game here. M+ players should probably honestly want to raid (very similar content), but if they don't want to they shouldn't be sharing the same power progression. And many if not most PvP:ers I know don't like anything like this. They don't do world quests, they don't like Korthia at all, and they're still forced to do them to get powers. Powers, that really, most try-hard PvP:ers don't care too much about or want. Everyone wants more fun core class gameplay and better balance though, but Blizzard doesn't apparently. So really, no lessons learned yet... just more Korthia-style content to elongate raid progression, trivialize mythic+ and break PvP over and over again.
Blizz also confirmed in an interview that flying will be locked behind this system too.
'' it's important to note that you can only equip your Covenant Legendary and any other Legendary of your choice. '' hahahaha to all with crappy covenant legendaries especially Kyrian MM hunters
