Yeah, this should obviously be removed. Arms har been S+ since launch, then has been buffed several times for PvE without any real PvP changes, and now we find out that they have a built-in game system that progressively makes them more and more broken…
and yet I still destroy things in like 3-4 seconds

If you've ever tried to hit a holy paladin who has shield of rightousness buff up you'll know that bypassing armour would make a big difference , its not useless

So you get weak with less and/more ilvl than your Target ilvl or even at same ilvl which Is compensated with more raw stats anyways?I'm right?
Could it be they lowered armor scaling to offset the increase of stam and vers that comes with higher ilvl gear? I don't know much about pvp, just throwing that idea out there.
This is why I hate scaling mechanics in MMOs. Sure, it sounds good on paper, but the actual implementation is always buggy or imbalanced somewhere. There are too many variables.

I understood nothing but I get things done in both pvp and pve so I'm assuming this is for the hard-core pvp and pve players.
Long story short, as I understood it:Point #1: Lower-stat players are weaker than higher-stat players, as makes sense. But in addition to stats, ilvl also plays a part in the same way, increasing the gap between lower-geared players and higher-geared players.Point #2: Against evenly-match opponents, your armor and block values are a little lower against each other. Thus making tanky specs less tanky in PvP, and inflating the damage that is done to you.This article is kind of confusing because at first glance, it makes it seem like you should equip lower ilvl gear and wander into PvP to do better, when that's totally the opposite of the case.
Just in case people misread: This talks about armor and block, not your dps. Which the understand from PVE standpoint is dont want to have so much armor (like BFA) that tanks just roll over mobs and pull whole dungeons on M+. I know im going to get some flack, but PvP - personally dont think tanks/healers should be in 2vs2/3vs3 PVP unless its Rated BG's'/5s or thier block/shields/healing/dps is nerfed to where it doesnt take 2 players to kill them or game lasts 30 minutes, they just too powerful.
