This NPC is inside a cave, the entrance to which can be found at 34.8, 48.1

I couldn't figure out for the life of me where the NPC was because I kept standing on the ! mark on the map but couldn't find it. The cave is just in front of the flight master at Meredil.

If she has the option to turn in a regular quest but you get the error "you can't do that now" after clicking it, give her Ancient Mana first (complete Feed Thalyssra). Then you can turn in the other quest.

As a quick reference, here are the various boons you can obtain when reaching honored or revered with each of the main five Broken Isle factions:

The Nightfallen (Honored): Boon of the Manaseeker 80g from First Arcanist Thalyssra in Suramar (/way Suramar 36.8, 46.6)
Gives a chance to find Mana-Tinged Packs which contain enchanting supplies.

Valarjar (Revered): Boon of the Salvager 127.5g from Valdemar Stormseeker in Stormheim (/way Stormheim 60.2, 51.2)
Gives a chance to find Salvaged Armors which contain ores and junk armour.

The Wardens (Revered): Boon of the Bloodhunter 160g from Marin Bladewing in Azsuna (/way Azsuna 48.2, 73.8)
Gives a chance to find Bloodhunter's Quarrys which contain Blood of Sargeras.

Dreamweavers (Honored): Boon of the Harvester 80g from Sylvia Hartshorn in Val'sharah (/way Val'sharah 54.6, 73.2)
Gives a chance to find Harvested Goods which contain herbs and fish.

Highmountain Tribe (Honored): Boon of the Butcher 80g from Ransa Greyfeather in Highmountain (/way Highmountain 38.6, 45.8)
Gives a chance to find Butchered Meats which contain leatherworking materials and non-fish cooking supplies.

Court of Farondis (Revered): Boon of the Gemfinder 127.5g from Veridis Fallon in Azsuna (/way Azsuna 46.8, 41.4)

(Note that prices listed on Wowhead are for neutral. These prices are the cost at Revered. At exalted they reduce even further.)

Seems to have no recipes on her day one of patch 7.1

Which is rough, considering she is the source for rank two of the new potion.

It seems that if you have completed a change of season and have the cured version of Thalyssra she does not have the recipes. I tested on a character that has completed up to that part and one that has not. She has all the recipes still.

Seems she is fixed and is selling the recipes again

What is the name of the daily quest you get from First Arcanist Thalyssra? The one where you train your withered army? I was ripped off yesterday of 650 mana on that quest. I have done it several times before. Yesterday, I started it and selected 10 Withered ghouls. Paid the 650 mana. Then the instance would not load. And eventually I was dumped back at Shal Aran by Thalyssra with the error message 'instance failed to load' and my 650 mana gone. Have tried to make a ticket but a description like I've given here seems to be not enough and they want the actual quest name.

Thalryssa missing? First make sure you are 110. If so, you must start the Suramar quest line either in your class hall or from Khadgar in Dalaran. She has several little quests to do that will take 10-15 minutes. Once done, you can turn in your world quests.

It's strange, that i didn't write my comment here yet, but i liked her so much... Dunno why, maybe combination with her strong personality, kindness and wisdom altogether with voice acting... One of the best female characters from WoW <3

If she is missing when you're trying to do the quest, Withered Army Training, you may need to do two quests to get her to re-appear at the command table:

After I completed these two quests, she was back at her post.

Not seeing her in the cave? Are you new to WoW; or jumping on an alt to grind rep for mounts or whatever, that has never started Suramar quests and can't find her?
Khadgar stands in the Violet Citadel(on the west side of Legion Dalaran) and gives a quest called "Trail of Echoes" that leads to your first encounter with F.A. Thalyssra.
She'll only be in the cave AFTER doing a few quests with her, THEN you can turn in emissary quests, etc.
(You may also need to do another intro quest with Khadgar where you talk the council or whatever first.)

I finished the Suramar campaign and now I can't find her anywhere. She's not in the cave anymore. Anyone knows where she is?

Got the quest from Khadgar and met up with Thalyssra. Followed her, blah, blah, blah, and went into the cave. She asked me to look in the cave for ancient mana (I already had max of 300 on me) but I clicked as if to pick up the ones at the bottom of the totum under Keeper Selentia and then killed her (although she kept showing IMMUNE for a little bit, she finally died. Turned around to turn the quest in to Thalyssra and can't. It's greyed out like I didn't complete it. (in the upper right corner in small letters, it reads "completed" so there's a bug//glitch. That whole chain of quests is held up because this one thing won't complete. sigh.....
