"Testing" is a very strong word.

They better invest enough time in testing this patch before releasing a mess that completely breaks the whole game and start focusing in the quality of the game , not how to justify 69 billion deal by making the game indirectly "pay to win" with all sort of shenanigans whether its for reducing the drop rate of materials , reducing BoE drops , making crafting timegated and whatnot just so people buy tokens with real money to spend the gold in-game for things they need to progress if they wanna achieve HoF...such a mess.

Comment by frostfizzis

Who cares.. the current patch is buggy as hell. U know it's gonna be worse

Comment by zzsdkzz

How about we test 11.0.5!

Comment by Bravus

Its gonna be a @#$%show, negative hype tbh.

Comment by pawpurr

They need to stop with the 8 week patch cadence, the game gets less stable with each patch since they started doing this.

I don't even want the next content patch. I want them to spend the next 8 weeks fixing everything they left broken or poorly designed.

People complaining about testing. Are you on the PTR testing things? Most players don't play on the PTR because there's no reward. Why work on something there only to have progress reset once it hits live? Not many like to start over. Do what you preach and test the content yourself. Get your guildmates and friends to do it, too. More people who test the more bugs are found before things go live. People think Blizzard doesn't read bug reports but they do. I actually found a few bugs myself in the TWW beta that no one else reported. How does Blizzard know there's a bug before it goes live if no one reports it? If you find something off, report it. It doesn't matter how small. Report it. Otherwise, you can't complain when a patch goes live that's buggy. Did you test it? Did you report the bug?

Comment by MiauMiau

It's not a player's job to playtest a game. Internal testing is an integral part of game development, you can't just outsource it to your playerbase.

Comment by frostfizzis

U act as if they listen to feedback. Hundreds of bugs reported in beta and majority of them still in the game on release....

Comment by takasinners

There are a plethora of bug reports on the PTR forums that have been ignored, unfortunately. And it's not new.
I really used to report some bugs (both on forums and using the ingame bug report tool) but I never had a feedback from the team.

DON'T RELEASE PTRs ANYMORE. The game is better when things are secret.

Comment by ancineni

Do they pay me to be on the ptr where none of my progress is ever kept and consequently all my invested time is wasted? No?

Then no, I am not on the ptr and no I am not doing free labor for a game that has each of the following:

monthly subscription
numerous micro transactions
paid expansion price around every 1.5 year

That is more than enough money to pay ppl to conduct proper testing of the content and properly process the feedback they get from the players (its not like they were not told about the current balancing disaster on the forums alone a hundred times at very least way before the release)....

Comment by drypulse

no 11.0.7 then?

Comment by WolfQueen

I tested it a bit but most nights it was jut me and 2-3 other people at the Anniversary area. :(

Maybe they could/should offer something to get people testing more.

Comment by Brimz

Content is dry already, at least holidays gonna be no grinding some sht for me not like DF's winter, assuming 11.1 arrives in Jan/early Feb.

DON'T RELEASE PTRs ANYMORE. The game is better when things are secret.

The PTR for 11.0.5 was down for weeks before release and this has been the buggiest patch ever. If you don't want to be spoiled then don't read spoilers. The PTR is a TEST realm which helps find and fix bugs before release.
