The author mentions the whole "we need to be considered for different reasons than moonkin" kinda like who Enhance brings Windfury and Ele doesn't.

I mean feral is as much about the juggling of ~~plates~~ debuffs as the big ~~payoff~~ bite.
But we also want to be sticky because when debuff falls off so do we.

I think a feral's bite should have massive impact and occur less often replacing berserk as our major cd.
Berserk changes to be the "fast windup button" to get all our bleeds on a target or spread bleeds in AOE.
It should have massive survivability bonuses when close to a target with more than 1 bleed, even negating large non-dot damage at times.
It needs a buff that it can provide that boomkins don't.Comment by DarlikAs I say in the feedback of all the talent trees:

The most important thing is the animations.
If Masive Attack is going to have the same animation as Ferocius Bite, I'll be disappointed.

If the class tree was cleaned up, some of the useless talents were removed (the ones that people do not actually use but they must take to get to something else lower in the branch) - or more branch points were added/positions changed, and there were some more compelling talents included in their place (maybe more utility and shape shifting oriented ones?), it's possible to make shape shifting into a more appealing concept.

But as it stands, unless the branches end up with vastly different damage numbers, I'm likely choosing a branch that doesn't require shape shifting to gain the benefits. Unless there are more useful benefits to doing it added and/or the class tree is refreshed and stuff is added to make shape shifting in combat better, right now it feels clunky, not super useful a lot of the time, and like it completely stops your feral rotation.

I have pretty much no interest in going cat form and I doubt the dps increase is worth the risk with 80% armor for higher keys, especially while changing forms remains on the GCD. Bal/Bear doesn't seem much better but it's the better option between the two for keys easily.
