seems pointless to farm this now 2 weeks before DF.

Comment by Geddeh

How did Antumbra not make the bis 1-h weapon?

Edit: nvm im dum

agree, this is some weird stuff to worry about 2 weeks out dude

Comment by WowheadFan2008

I'll be sure to buy the BoE boots for my evoker for raid this week.
Thanks for the post!

Comment by VSozonov

If it's pointless for some people it's not pointless for others. Better for guide like this to exist than not, that's what wowhead is about.

I agree, but it's still nice to know what items to look out for while trialing out this class during pre-patch.

Nobody who has played a caster or healer is surprised by any of this content, though. It's all pretty standard stuff.

Comment by Nightblade2091

Cool, but... why? All of these items will become obsolete in like a month's time :/

Comment by wiegrafzerolok

For the people who think this is pointless: why did you click this article lol. There are going to be tons of Dracthyr made and played the next couple weeks, can you really not even conceive of the possibility someone would find this useful?

Comment by Squishyy

Irrelevent article but ok. You wont be able to go into a raid and get these pieces in 2 weeks... just grab anything and slap it on, youll do the same damage as anyone who even tried to follow this guide.

Comment by Lautner

Every season makes the one before obselete traditionally. Gear is carrot on the end of a stick.

So why have BIS slot for evokers?

Because Evokers come out today and sometimes you want to push yourself on something new for fun.

The post literally says why in it's 3rd sentence...

Comment by adscott

Wouldn't it be easier to just do the pre-patch event to gear up?

just something to do lol. plus leveling in dragonflight with %^&* gear is painful.

Comment by Scaryfox

It's good to see that we have finally have this info. Hats off to the ones that did their research?

The same could be said with you complaining about the game 2 weeks before DF.

Comment by SkyWilde

I'm confused. My Dracthyr is level 266 right now. I got all of the 278 pieces that drop from Uldaman and filled in the rest with 252 drops from elementals and essence purchases. Are the numbers on the gear above correct? Because those are MUCH lower than the pre-launch event gear.

Comment by amy666

Yeeeeah idk whats going on here. I'm certainly not about to get lower ilvl stuff when the gear i got from leaving the starting zone is drastically higher ilvl.

Comment by Ryfrost

It's funny how you suggest that the raid trinkets are BiS. But Evokers aren't allowed to need on those items!

The items posted above are the non-fated raid drops. Im fact all raids ate now fated until DF release, so these items drop at 278/285 on normal and 291/298 on heroic.
Another source of loot are Dinars, so I was able to equip my Evoker with Maledict Opus (285) from a Dinar purchase yesterday.
