Sweet baby Thrall. Blood & Thunder is back!I don't care what else they do.
I just saw the Single-Minded Fury talents and BOY!Mark my words, with good equipment, going SMF is going to be nasty, there's three sources of Haste on that tree (stacking Bloodthirst, stacking Rampage and Enrage), many effects that activate on auto attacks (including Enrage!), and TWO Leech talents on the base tree if you use One-Handed Weapons....I love it! :3
Warrior had good talents and legendarys in shadowlands, but the really cool once where in the same row. Now you can just pick what you want and it looks like a lot of fun.You can even play a bleed build if you want. Some of the keystone talents look a bit undertuned compared to the middle of the tree, but overall I am excited.
Please blizzard, please STOP STOP... I'm dying here. Seriously, I can't take this dumb system anymore.
Blizzard wtf.
I do think this is a really good start but it needs some iteration and changes. I can already tell that Bloodletting is going to be a mostly dead talent(other than some REALLY niche uses) and a lot of the 2/2 talents especially on the bottom don't feel great to talent into. Arms and the base warrior tree looks a bit bloated but it gives the utility and deeper gameplay that people have been asking for.
As an Arms player I have to say the trees look pretty interesting at first glance. However I really dislike Signet returning. Having the chance of losing control over my character whenever I press Avatar does not feel great - tho, that might change in combination with Unhinged at least for Arms. Also having a choice between Speer of Bastion and Ancient Aftershock (the choice node under that could apply to both, why not) would be awesome imo.
Nothing overly important but I've been messing with the calculator and you can seemingly build a shieldless Prot. warrior (like a scuffed BDK), doubling down on self-heals, short cds, IP and passive defenses. Would probably also have to be in defensive stance 24/7 to make it work. Obviously this would be nowhere near optimal but I wouldn't mind this idea getting explored a little bit further just for fun. Would love to "troll" low (!) keys as a prot with a 2H.
Prot warrior is back. Real happy with the talent tree. Massive impeovement in the damage department, damage negation (tens and tens of percents less damage taken), stamina, leech, rage generation, utility... it's so good.
warrior talent tree is literally perfect from the first go i'm sorry, i main a mage, and i compared the 2, and i'm flabbergasted
Good thing glad stance and stance dancing is staying dead.
They forgott gladiator stance again... :(
In the Dragonflight warrior class tree, I am excited to see what has been in Shadowlands one of the most fun abilities for me to play: Signet of the Tormented Kings. In Dragonflight, Signet can proc from Ravager, Bladestorm, Recklessness, or Avatar. For a Dragonflight fury warrior, you can pick Avatar from the class tree as well as Ravager and Recklessness from the fury tree, which gives you three ways to proc Signet. For comparison, for a Shadowlands fury warrior, you could proc Signet in just two ways: Bladestorm and Recklessness. I hope the three ways to proc Signet for a fury warrior remain in the game up through the official release of Dragonflight and beyond. Way to hit it out of the park Blizzard!
Seems like everything we wanted? *marches toward dungeon w/ shield in hand in BATTLE stance*
