Dayum, these are some nice talents. Looking at Class and Arms trees, so far i feel like i can have my cake and eat it too, and have 2 more cakes... if only we had 31 points in the specialization trees to be able to get 2 end row talents + one of the previous row, since after playing with the tree a bit it seems like i could have everything i want, but had to choose between a 2nd end talent and Warbreaker. There's gotta be a ton of calculations to do with this, we can combine playstyles from several points of our history.. what Super Saiyan level can we reach this time with all those Execute goodies. Personal defenses also seem to be increasing now for Arms - i can take like all teh defenses in the Class tree, have my Second Wind and now get healed from Deep Wounds on top of that, which probably won't be doing half our damage like in some expansions but is still a nice addition. There's a slight downside - the amount of buttons to press will surely increase, mostly utility, but i can see a potential proc-a-thon going on with all the MS/Exe mutually resetting talents. Also, Str from Armor and Armor from Str - wouldn't that go to infinity and beyond and divide by 0?Overall i'm quite impressed with the Class and Arms trees, the new system seems to just be giving classes "moar" of the things those classes do. Knowing my luck it will all be changed so i cannot pick everything i want like now (no dot talents, injecting everything Execute related directly into my veins, ya better keep that Condemn animation Blizzy-boy, or the fat lady gets it see). Still, this whole talent change thing is making me want to play the game besides the usual "religiously buy every xpac and play for 6 months before quitting cuz yer old guild is dead and you be socially crippled enough to not go for a new one".
Pretty sad about the lack of Bladestorm and Merciless Bonegrinder for Fury.
Only Arms getting Bladestorm, Condemn, Banner, Bonegrinder is really, really lame. Warbreaker need to be moved up.
Bladestorm for fury, please!
I hate that after Fury FINALLY gets Bladestorm (Something I was pissed about when Burning Crusade came out because Whirlwind was a Fury Move, and not something Arms even relied on.... and what is Bladestorm if NOT an Improved Whirlwind....) They are Removing it Yet Again >__<
Would've been neat if Bladestorm was in the base tree and also the Arms tree for 2 charges but likely would be a little ridiculous with Signet.
Disappointing, legion (juggernaut) and SL (condemn) talents made as options to arms but not fury, plus the removal of bladestorm? and anger mgmt halfway down T3 vs arms T2. Why not make SMF/Titans grip baseline, and in their place put anger mgmt / condemn, or trim a few of the many stat fillers (Critical Thinking/ Swift Strikes/Valor in Victory/ Deft Expertise) 8 total dead points, compare to frost mage or other classes that have no fillers, let alone T3 fillers, and you get a feel for which classes get love and which get shafted.
In comparison to feral tree, now I can say for sure where all effort went..
i see this then i look back on the paladin tree .. i have no words
What is the difference between Berserker Rage and Berserker Shout? Im looking at the description and its the same.
So far I only looked at prot + class tree but so far it looks way better than the first iteration of most other specs trees. Gives new life to prot, it gets massively improved over Shadowlands in both fun and utility. The class tree is great. Few criticisms. The prot tree could use maybe an extra talent or 2 (would love Gag Order silence on Heroic Throw in there somewhere, would massively help dungeon pulling as Prot) and the tier 3 right side of the tree is pretty awful, capstone being 2 seconds longer Ravager has to be a joke compared to the competition in the middle and left. And please god, remove the minimum range of Shield Charge, that was the most annoying part of using Reprisal, this is the perfect opportunity to fix it. It also will make it more unique/different than Charge. Also it's kinda weird Thunderclap is tucked away in the middle tier 2 the class tree, considering it's completely required for playing Prot. But in terms of the overall kit when you're done, it looks way more fun than live/Shadowlands, so hats off the blizz here prot has to be the spec that gained the most fun compared to live. Some other specs are like literally the same as Shadowlands with just maybe an extra legendary or 2 and old azerite talent or 2 thrown in. Prot gains a ton of fun stuff and will feel way better.
G-gladiator Stance..?
While it would have been nice to see a return of Gladiator stance, it is good to see some more damage boosting options for Protection Warriors. Shield Charge, Sudden Death, and Spiked Shield seem particularly nice and I look forward to testing them in my future builds.
Bloody hell. Single-Minded Fury Warriors are looking nuts. Like, actually nuts. Like 36% haste from nodes and enrage, before gear (math might be wrong, I'm still half asleep). Numerous other self buffs or effects that can be applied to Bloodthirst, combined with a 1.5 second CDR on Bloodthirst if you take that talent. More rage from auto attacks. More auto attack damage. A 50% change to be enraged on auto criticals. And quite honestly, both Side Arm and Annihilator look absolutely bonkers for AoE and single target respectively. Dragonflight needs to get here sooner. I need this incarnation of Fury. Now.
amazing upgrades to the prot warrior.
