I am so excited for this!
While I realize there were probably limitations on the in-game camera, it still really bugs me that the screenshots of the conversation violate the 180 degree rule. I actually surprised myself by having to take a second to verify which character was speaking in the second image. Anyway, minor pet peeve rant over.

Whatever Blizzard do with player housing, you can guarantee it will involve a massive cash bonanza for the shareholders.
Maybe the players should have the option of keeping the deed and get a small token of gold every week as rent from the other tenants. Add in the ability to fix up their apartments to increase the amount of gold you get for that week. Could lead to a series of dailies for the week to fix things like the plumbing, walls, furniture or run errands for them like to go get groceries or pay a bill. Have an achievement to get titles like Slumlord if you don't fix up any apartments for like 2 months or another one if you keep your tenants living in pristine apartments. Maybe even allow you to set the rents leading to your tenants liking or hating you for that week. Would be a rather complex system in such a case that I don't see ever being implemented but would have offered a bit more than a short quest chain and a free apartment/inn.
Idk how i feel about goblin landlords but... hopefully they (blizz) get a lot of info and feedback from this to make housing good.

Just from the brief description it sounds like a more colorful version of the farm house from Mist of Pandaria. Not terrible, but not exciting either for me.
It would be much more interesting than housing to loot biker gang transmogs from the members of that gang (I already have the chopper...).
Can't wait until I have to lease my mounts!
